Quick service and very trust worthy

Quick service and very trust worthy, the food was excellent I had the colossal crabs, MD crab cakes and Alaskan crab legs. Everything was good and fresh I will be ordering again.

Unreliable

Order placed weeks ahead of time and I was informed the day before expected delivery that it could not happen on that day.
Last year the crabs showed up a day late with the dry ice expired.
You do get a refund but don’t plan parties around these crabs showing up.

Hi there,

I'm terribly sorry to hear about the issues you've had with your current and previous order and I can appreciate how disappointing this must have been for you.

Unfortunately, we are only notified about these Saturday delivery limitations by UPS when we generate the shipping label on the morning the order is scheduled to ship out so I do apologize for the late notice.

In these types of situation, we are usually able to find a nearby facility which can receive and hold the package for pickup but I understand that in this case it was not possible.

We are working on implementing a new software very soon which will detect and give us a more advanced notice when Saturday delivery becomes unavailable to a certain zip code in order to prevent similar situations from arising in the future.

As for the late delivery last year, I'm afraid there isn't much we can do to prevent carrier delays after the packages leave our facility. We do try to respond promptly when a delay is reported but I understand that when the package was expected for an event it can be very frustrating.

Once again, please accept our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience and don't hesitate to let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.

I absolutely loved my order from…

I absolutely loved my order from Cameron's seafood. Everything that I ordered was fresh, delicious and nicely packaged. I ordered the 12 lbs of snow crab legs, spiced jumbo shrimp, blue crab claws and cocktail sauce. I shared it with my family and friends. Everyone asked me where did I get it from? I tell all of my clients about this delicious seafood too. Thank you so much Cameron's seafood for a wonderful order. I will be placing a second order soon.

All the way from Hawaii!!! Thank you Cameron’s Seafood! My husband loved his gift! He was surprised and LOVED everything! He has been craving Maryland blue crabs for a while now since we moved on the island. The crab bisque was top-notch, too!!! Delivery and packaging was handled extremely well. Highly recommend to Everyone 🦀

Well I thought I ordered the shucked…

Well I thought I ordered the shucked oysters along with my crabs but when I got done paying I noticed the mistake and by this time I received A notice I didn't have enough for the oyster to be shipped is there way to have the Oysters,shipped with my ordered I will pay if it possible. We got crabs

We got standard - Sm female crabs. Most were surprisingly heavy. Although my did complain at first on how small they were. There from Ocean City and also the Glen Burnie area. Making jokes barely legal. But once I re steamed them and threw them on the table. It felt like we was in Maryland. Even had some Natty boh. Like I said they were heavy. Lots of meat and mustard inside. Can't wait to order again some time.

False crabcakes

Filed a review and got a poor response. Obviously Camerons seafood is having major issues. It appears that Trustpilot is giving favor to the restaurant. Are they getting paid by the restaurant.? Let's find out by class suit

Hi Michael,

I'm very sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with our response to your questions about the type of crab meat used in our cakes.

As you can see in the multiple videos I sent which showcase the making of our crab cakes at our facility, we only use jumbo lump crab meat, no lump or backfin. That being said, these large chunks of crab meat can get shredded and broken up during the mixing process which can make it appear like lump crab meat.

Per our 100% satisfaction guarantee, we'd be happy to issue you a full refund for the order since you did not enjoy the cakes but unfortunately I'm still unable to locate an order under your name or email address in our system.

Did you make the purchase at a retail location or via another storefront like Amazon or Goldbelly?

I grew up on the Cheasapeak Bay and…

I grew up on the Cheasapeak Bay and know what it means to eat a Jumbo sometimes called colossal blue crab. What we had were fantastic tasting but NO WAY were they they the big Jimmies I'm used to. I would call these large. If you want the JOMBO's this is not the place!

I'm glad to hear that you were pleased with the quality and taste of the crabs overall.

Because there is no official standard when it comes to sizing blue crabs, each crab house has to come up with their own sizing categories and appellations. So what one company might call "extra large" might be called "super" or "jumbo" elsewhere. To prevent any confusion, we include the exact measurements for each size category on our site as well as a handy ruler in each package so you can verify that you received what you paid for.

As we mention on our site, our jumbo crabs can range anywhere from 6 ¼ inches from tip to tip all the way up to 8+ inches sometimes.

Simply the best crabs around we live in…

Simply the best crabs around we live in Georgia and we had order a bushel of crabs there was a delay with the order due to UPS not Cameron's and the crabs would not be good the day they would be delivered I contacted Cameron's and spoke to Scotty simply an amazing guy who truly cares about his customers he shipped out another bushel without any hesitation they arrived today and my family is enjoying them they said they're simply Delicious we will definitely order again and we highly recommend them thanks again Scotty for your great customer service skills but most of all thank you for caring about us

Shipping and quality

I live in ID and am from MD. Missing my blue crab and crab cakes. Stumbled across this seafood and next thing I know I am 600.00 into my order and it is at my door lol. Was still in dry ice and perfect and tasty!

I can positively say Cameron’s Seafood is a very reputable place with their first goal is customer satisfaction. I previously placed an order with them and there was an issue I had. I contacted Cameron’s and they were EXTREMELY EAGER to correct my concerns and they didn’t that quickly and without hesitation. I had the pleasure of speaking with Scottie and found him to be polite, resourceful and willing to help me. I also can say these are the most tasty crabs I’ve had in a long time. They were sweet and well seasoned to perfection. Thanks Scottie and Cameron’s for your patience and consideration as well as your commitment to providing outstanding customer service. I’ll DEFINITELY buy from you again.

I am editing my previous review of Cameran’s Seafood. I was contacted this morning by Scottie. I further explained to him my disappointment and he asked if I could measure the crabs. I couldn’t because we ate them and as I explained to him they were delicious and well seasoned. Scottie offered to send me another order, on them, to which I accepted. I am EXTREMELY PLEASED they reached out to me and offered to correct my order. Thanks SO VERY MUCH.

For my anniversary I decided to order colossal blues from Cameron on the recommendation of my daughter who lives in Maryland and get crabs there often. I live in California so decided to order early, about 3 weeks prior to my anniversary. The day before I was to receive my crabs I’m informed they would be late because they were out. They did arrive two days later. I have to say the taste was sweet and very well seasoned. Now mind you, I ordered a dozen colossal jumbo but received large mediums to small large. I am very disappointed at the size of the crabs and won’t order from them again, seems the only way to be assured of getting what you want is to physically be there. I did notify Cameran’s about this but they decided not to respond so I chose to send in my review. Out of town customers, beware.

Cameron's Seafood is Number one in seafood!

Cameron's Seafood has always been my favorite. When I lived in the eastern panhandle, it was easy to get, now that I live in the southern part of the state. I order it online and it is the same quality, packaging and delivery are wonderful. The lump crab meat I ordered was completely frozen, when delivered, which I was very pleased with. I made crab-cake's The same day it was delivered! the crab meat is so good and sweet and fluffy and big clumps of crab. It took everything I had not to eat it all right out of the container before I made the crab-cakes it is that good! absolutely the highest quality seafood I've ever had.

I'm trying to figure out how you guys sell "big meaty Maryland crabs" in the middle of winter when all you can dredge up all crabs dug into the mud and not eating for months?

As explained on our site, during the winter months we either offer flash frozen MD crabs which were caught during the previous season or fresh crabs from NC or LA. All of this is clearly disclosed to our customers prior to making a purchase.

Great service.

These crabs were terrible. Some shells were cracked. Others were dry and tasted old or spoiled. The crab cakes, however, were top tier.

Edit:

Cameron’s Seafood contacted me promptly to resolve the issue. Their service is great. We found a mutually agreeable solution. I updated my star review to reflect the customer service.

Gluten-free crabcakes for the win!

It's so rare that we go to places and they have a gluten-free option for "the good stuff" on the menu, but Cameron's Seafood had gluten-free crab cakes and needless to say... WE'LL BE BACK! There was a solid amount of crab meat in there, about 2 parts crab to 1 part gluten-free flour/mix. Delicious 🤤
