Could not have been more pleased

Everything about the experience was perfect. Order of a half bushel of large crabs was received on time and packaged perfectly. Crabs were very large compared to others we have ordered (from others), meaty and perfectly spiced and cooked. Having spending time in Delaware on vacation for many years and having crabs at restaurants the ones received from Cameron's Seafood were far better. Now a customer for life!

Horrible customer service

I received my first order from Cameron’s seafood 10/27/2023. I unboxed and followed the reheating instructions that were provided. I proceeded to eat one of the shrimp and it was sooo! Salty to the point it was inedible, I could not taste any spice whatsoever. The crab was good. I decided to leave a message with Cameron seafood just to let them know how salty the spiced shrimp were I did not get a live person. I was able to leave a message.
The next day I received a call from someone at Cameron’s Seafood. He stated “you left a message how can I help you” I told him about the shrimp. He states” is this your first time ordering I said yes” that was the end of conversation. There was no apology, no compensation for the shipping, I was not asked if the there was something else I wanted to try. I was treated poorly and it was horrible customer service. I will never order from Cameron’s Seafood again. That’s it and that’s all.

Outstanding seafood

The seafood was not spoiled and it was delivered as stated and the seafood was seasoned good and spicy how I like and I’ve never eaten cold blue crabs until I started ordering from Cameron seafood I will definitely order again and I would recommend that everyone give them a try I’m never disappointed.

I want to tell you that your product was a total dissapointment.
Starting with the packaging it was leaking.i could not believe it. I open the package and the product was involved in a totally wet paper bag. The crabs were all wet not dry with a smelling odor many crabs were broken with water inside. I started by throwing at least 6 of the crabs.
The shrimp appeared to have been frozen, the head was dark and it was very difficult to separate the shells. Thy were all chewy not fresh.
The crabs size did not meet the expectations and the ones I tried had a funky taste t paper.
I regret ordering from your company. You made this a totally frustrating experience.
Any store in l.a. delivers much better product and in betterconditions.
Rate your company = 0
I will make sure my friends do not order from your company.

I’m so sorry to hear that you were not 100% satisfied with your order.

Our crabs are steamed fresh the same day we ship them out so sometimes a bit of the leftover water from steaming can get stuck in the cavities of the crab. For this reason we include a layer of paper around the crabs to absorb any leftover water and limit leakage.

Our shrimp is never frozen but I'm thinking perhaps this batch was a bit over seasoned which can make the meat of the shrimp a bit more tough due to its high salt content

As requested, we went ahead and processed a full refund for this order.

If you decide to give this another shot in the future, we would love the opportunity to serve you again. As you can see from our thousands of positive reviews, your latest experience was definitely not representative of the usual quality of our offering.

Hassle free, quality, efficient, responsive. I've ordered from Cameron's 4 times over the years and every single time, the crabs are fantastic, the service and team and responsive and great. Will be ordering again for the 5th, 6th, 7th time!

Great food… excellent customer service

I ordered there “ premium large crabs” this weekend for labor day.
My experience was not what i had expected at first..a minor issue that was resolved quickly…as this “crabbers” know how to take care of there costumers
My crabs arrived perfectly packaged… but more importantly … they did not disappoint.
It’s an experience I have not had since I was a teenager living in Maryland
My sister has ordered in the past with great results…
She finally convinced me to try them
I glad i did.

The customer service is absolutely…

The customer service is absolutely amazing! The crabs comes packed and iced I had An issue with a few crabs and they replaced the crabs immediately but other than the few crabs I had issues with the crabs are absolutely amazing! I highly recommend Cameron’s Seafood to anyone!

We ordered 2 bushels of crabs and a…

We ordered 2 bushels of crabs and a dozen soft crabs. The day of delivery came and we were like a couple of expectant parents waiting for the new arrival...pacing, checking the doorstep, waiting, waiting, waiting... For most of you reading this, all this angst might seem a little unusual. After all the UPS guy will be there. For us a flight from Baltimore to our home takes about 14 hours. So for the crabs to be on the delivery truck for another seven and a half hours, made us question the condition they would be in upon arrival. All I can say is that the crew at Cameron's know there business! While the boxes were a little worse for wear and tear; ALL THE CRABS including the soft crabs were perfect! The soft crabs were still frozen. When we ordered the crabs I had some questions and received prompt replies. We we very surprised to receive a personalized video notice about the shipment (that was a very nice touch). We will always order our crabs from Cameron's. Oh, I forgot to mention that we live in Nikiski, AK (that's Alaska not Arkansas).

Well Worth It

Ordered and received w/in 24hrs. Jax. FL, (1 County South). Delivery was fantastic. UPS of course, and on a Saturday too.
The crabs were awesome, a bakers 2-1/2 dozen ... Very well seasoned and quality crabs only. Not one papershell and the mustard was there. They arrived well shipped and chilled. Granted there's nothing better than HOT out of the steamer. These folks know what they're doing. This is a luxury for us and a tradition of a devoted customer🦀

Best crabs!!

My daughter and son in law were born and raised in Maryland and grew up on steamed crabs. They moved to Florida five years ago. Begging for a birthday present of MD steamed crabs, I purchased 1 1/2 doz for SIL’s 30th birthday from Cameron’s Seafood. We took two day delivery, received the crabs. They were SO MARYLAND. Crabs for the soul. They were great!

An excellent experience!

My family had an excellent experience with Cameron’s. Crabs arrived at our West Coast home as advertised, cooked just right and were of outstanding quality. We didn’t have to fly ourselves 3000 miles, Cameron’s brought the experience to us!

I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the crabs.

As I mentioned to you in my email, we use our own blend of spices based in JO spice on all our crabs. Most crab houses prefer using JO over Old Bay due to the fact that the larger flakes tend to stick better to the crabs which gives them a more intense flavor . We also found that most of our customers prefer the taste of our seasoning over Old Bay.

For next time, we could send you the crabs unseasoned so you can use the seasoning of your choice!
