My recliner was ready in advance of the anticipated date, and I was duly contacted to arrange delivery, undertaken very smoothly by Dan and Wayne . The chair's operation was fully explained. Wayne very kindly responded to my request for help to remove the roller from my cleaner, which he swiftly achieved.
I have found each of the four Charterhouse employees with whom I have dealt to be most willing to go over and above their remit in order to provide extra help - a refreshing contrast to the frequently encountered attitude of current times.

Excellent Service
Very quick to come out for a demonstration, we viewed the bed and reclining chairs which was very good. Delivery date was as expected, Danny & Wayne arrived providing an excellent service, took old furniture away and installed new furniture and showed my parents how they worked before leaving.

A vulnerable family member booked what was advertised as a free, no-obligation home demonstration.
After the demonstration, it was made clear that there was uncertainty about proceeding with the purchase. Rather than respecting that decision, the salesperson refused to leave the property for hours and continued applying pressure until the bed was purchased.
This was the complete opposite of the “no pressure” experience advertised by the company.
We are now making formal complaints to the relevant authorities and reporting this matter to the police due to the way this situation was handled.

Quick to make appointment for home…
Quick to make appointment for home demonstration.
Representative turned up on time, a very pleasant, confidant young lady who was very knowledgeable about the company and its products.i ordered the Sandown bed and was told I should have it delivered and assembled in 4-6 weeks.
The customer service department were also very helpful when they knew that delivery was limited due to dialysis routine and other appointments.
The day of delivery went very smoothly. Firstly they removed the bed being replaced , they could see I was having difficulties with the stairs and vacuumed the inevitable fluff that was left after the bed was removed.
Assembling the new bed was carried out like a well oiled machine and when ready they instructed me in using the controls for adjusting the bed.
Two very pleasant gentlemen.

No pressure, professional service by Ray
I was visited by Ray for a new bed.
I was not pressurised into making a decision, I was very comfortable with Ray and I enjoyed his company.
The bed has answered a lot of medical questions with my health and i’m over the moon about this new bed.

Helpful, friendly representative…
The representative Henry was very helpful. He showed us a demonstration chair and carefully explained the riser recliner workings and went through the health benefits.
He measured the customer and explained why and what difference it would make.
The customer has a learning disability and Henry was very ‘kind and understanding’. He was happy to explain things again and answer questions.
He was also very friendly which helped her relax.
