CRB Direct (www.crbdirect.org.uk) are an independent agency who offer a simple process when applying for your Basic Disclosure. We specialise in checking and processing Basic Disclosure applications and provide support and advice specifically for the Basic Disclosure Online Application. We do not currently handle applications for Standard or Enhanced DBS checks although we may be able to advise on who you need to contact if you do require a Standard or Enhanced DBS check.

Website was difficult to navigate resulting in having to purchase a business account as a sole trader and still not being able to apply for the CRD check I needed. Then when I did find a link to apply, it was charged at over £100 and again wasn't enhanced as needed despite it saying they offer enhanced DBS checks. A huge waste of money! Customer services are only accessible via chat which then takes 3-4 days to get back to you, which meant this has been a prolonged event that I don't have time for as a busy professional. I would just avoid them! I have cancelled any transactions I have

APPALLING - Advice was too confusing.
Everything.
Took too long.
Nearly all automated.
System very much AI based.
Staff i spoke with were totally baffling in what they were trying to explain.
I felt like i need 5 A Level in DBS?
We cancelled and as of yet over 4 weeks later we still have not had a refund of which we were promised.
We have looked at refunds etc and neither our company nor some personnel that paid privately seem to have been refunded based upon what we were told.
Therefore we need full clarification please. We were given. They paid Apostillonline over £240?
With regards to the other payments refunded back and the ARN numbers given. We cannot locate these payment has being refunded approx £289????
