Grant arrived to install my ev charger, very fussy, professional job done after a few hic ups, but all went great in the end.

Twice they failed to turn up for an agreed appointment. One was on a Saturday and we waited in before being told it was cancelled. Don’t use them unless you have to. Ours was a free VW charger.

They range me to let me know they was on their way and was very friendly and very professional, they got the job done quite quickly without any issues.

Great service. Andrew was fantastic and went above and beyond with his work, very thorough and made sure safety was a priority! Very professional and helpful, he is a credit to the team.

I recently had an Ohme charger installed as part of my new EV purchase, and Ohme arranged for one of their contractors, who shall remain nameless, to complete the installation.

To be frank, the installation was quite literally 'Shocking', with the wiring from the main 100amp supply to the building arcing at the junction box. I complained to Ohme who put me back in contact with their contractor, who offered me a service call in 3 weeks time. When I explained the the gravity of the situation, I was told 'well, we are quite busy at the moment'.

Naturally I complained to Ohme who, to their credit, immediately put me in contact with Claire from Crystal EV Charging.

My discussion with Claire took place mid-afternoon on Wednesday and she advised that she could have an engineer with me to write a report back to Ohme on Saturday morning. When I explained to Claire that I felt that the installation was unsafe, she asked me to hold for a minute, and then came back explaining she had spoken with the engineer and that he could be with me first thing the next morning. Already a thousand times better than the previous contractor.

The next morning, the Crystal engineer, Kane, arrived right on time and immediately set about assessing the installation with a view to writing the report back to Ohme as I had been advised. Very quickly Kane confirmed that my suspicions were correct and that the installation was indeed dangerous, with a potential risk of fire or electrocution.

I did feel somewhat vindicated, but also extremely angry that I had been put at risk like this. I have restricted mobility due to ill health so would dread to think what would have happened had a fire broken out in the night whilst I was asleep, or if the 100amp supply feeding my property had decided to use me as the fastest route to ground.

But here is where I would award an additional 5x 5 Stars if I could. Kane took it upon himself to rectify the installation issues there and then when his brief for the visit was to write a report back to Ohme. He could have isolated the supply and fulfilled his brief, but decided to resolve the issue there and then to ensure that I had a safe, working installation, which is what should have happened in the first instance.

I have written to Ohme to advise them of my absolute delight with the fantastic, customer first, experience that Crystal, right from the very first minute with Claire arranging the visit, through to Kane going above and beyond the brief, and also of my thoughts on the previous contractor which I will spare you of just in case you are of a delicate disposition.

In summary, and in deference to Nigel Tufnell of Spinal Tap, I would make this review go to 11 if I could!!

Grant spent the full day at our home installing our charger. Excellent equipment and very well thought out installation leaving an extremely neat finish. Grant explained everything about the app and maintenance of the charging point as well as being extremely polite and professional.

The installer was great he told us what he was going to do and when it came to turning of the electric he told us in advance very professional would highly recommend

Helpful knowledgable engineer who established an issue with our wiring. He could have easily said he would have to return at a later date but no he went and sourced a necessary part and returned to complete installation

Turned up on time, two lovely guys that fitted the EV charger, spent time showing me how it works and even helped me install the app and set it up.

The installer, Ed, was on time and very polite and courteous. He took his time in working out the best course of action and made some helpful suggestions in terms of routing to make the installation as neat as possible.

A thoroughly professional organisation that I would recommend and definitely use in the future.
