A team were sent from the Midlands (2-3 hours away) the day after this review was posted and, to give them credit, were excellent. They were professional, left my home and garden immaculate and explained the setup clearly.

Booked an installation with Crystal? Don't bank on it!

I am awaiting the highly anticipated arrival of an engineer tomorrow, after three already failed attempts to fulfil our agreed appointments.

Interesting to read reviews from other 'customers' with the same experiences as me - professional standards evidently don't matter here.

I have been expecting the elusive engineer on 25th July, 6th August, 7th August and Crystal are now 'hopeful' they will materialise on 8th August - I'm not getting my hopes up.

My choice is limited with purchasing through Ohme, but if you have the option to AVOID this farcical carry on, I strongly recommend you do.

We had an excellent installation of our Ohme Home Pro made today by Craig from Ipswich. Punctual, talked to us about the installation, did a neat job then showed us how to use the app before he left. All done in just over 2 hours.
A fine ambassador for the industry.

Got our new Ohme charge unit installed today.
The engineers were on time, polite and professional and very happy to assist and help me with any of my concern's.

Crystal installed our Ohme home EV charger in under 1 week from date of purchase. The installer was prompt, friendly and professional with the whole install taking about 2 hours as it was a straightforward setup.

The installer walked us through the setup and functions of the wallbox and app. EVs can be complicated to learn all the details and it was great to have someone who knows explain it in practical terms.

Conor was very professional, pleasantly and patiently showing me how to use my new charger and App.

I had an idea excellent EV charger install experience. I was kept up to date on the installation date. The Electrician’s that installed it were efficient and turned up on time.

Excellent service from Steven, very knowledgeable and calm, fitted without any issues. Detailed in his workmanship. Great asset to the company.

Had an electric charger fitted and the installer was very pleasant. We decided there was a better way to get from the fuse box to outside and he did that for us so the wiring was well hidden. Missing a fuse and went out and got one straight away. Would recommend this company to do your instal- very good and professional and left the areas he worked in nice and clean.

Referred by Motability/Ohme, I had AJ Theron visit my property yesterday and I was thrilled with his customer service. He was very accommodating, answered all questions and did an amazing job with the installation.

One of my concerns was the wiring and not wanting it on the face of the property where it can be seen. AJ did a great job keeping it hidden as per my requirements and his professionalism was outstanding. He was clear with what he was going to do and checked with me what he was going to do and when he was going to do it.
I was very happy with his attention to detail and he completed a thorough job.

Ordered a couple of chargers for my property and from start to finish it was great and super easy, totally hassle-free. All I did was call up and everything was smoothly handled by Crystal.

Absolutely ridiculous company!!!! Could not install my car charging point and the lack of communication and professionalism is shocking!!!! Would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND

Ohme charger fitted but fitter failed to update Ohme of this resulting in 2 months of very slow charging also needed to recall as needed a now agreed with Ohme data cable added to the system.

Wrong grey internal grade wire was sent prior to install.
Fitter arrives asks me? what needs doing once briefed he says he has never fitted a data cable. He asked where does it go from and to where.

Rang crystal who tried to convince me the fitter was indeed qualified having non of it a showed him the door

update edit Ohme sent another company to complete the data cable installation.
Only to discover no gland used on base entry main feed and also a hole left in the back of chargers back plate as blank been removed and not replaced
Ohme head office and motorbility CEO are looking into these failures documented and photographed. Dire rubbish AVOID

Absolute nightmare of a company.
I am a simple swap over from an Easee charger to Ohme. I rung the company to book in and was given 2/11/2023. Informed the staff I don’t like people in the house and dusty environments. Was told they will suit up and wear foot protection. Even though I am reluctant to the swap over I agreed. I sheeted the downstairs out to help with the dust anxiety. Received a phone call at dinner time on the day asking if they could swap to 3/11/2023. I said no as I was out. No worries we will get there. Received another phone call in the afternoon stating they couldn’t get there. I told them not to bother and I’ll just send the unit back. I was short with the customer service advisor and rang back up to apologise. Spoke to Kym Boyle who said it’s important to have it swapped over and I was offered 4/11/23 as a priority, and that she would oversee my fitting. I said I would check the date when I got home.
It was my mother’s memorial birthday but I sent an email to agree to the date. 4/11/2023 sheeted up again in preparation. Saturday dinner time came, no one had arrived so I rang the company. Yes you are down for a fitting we will be there by the end of the day. Needless to say no one came.
Rang Ohme 6/11/23 who had rung Crystal Electronics prior to my call and was told that Crystal Electronics would be in touch by the end of the day. Nothing once again.
Rang Ohme one more time who got in touch with Crystal Electronics and said they would contact me the day after. Once again no contact.
I have to say that this is the worst company for customer service and upon reading previous reviews, I am not the only one. So the award for the most useless EV charger fitting company goes to Crystal Electronics. Unfortunately they never turned up to collect their trophy so I still have it at home!
I need to add after I waisted 2 days of my life waiting around for this company I was offered a £25 voucher, but of course I never received it.

I have booked the appointment for my EV charger change.In 3 weeks in advance and they didn't turned up for the appointment as the engineer was sick…
I did taken a holiday day to stay at home and they called me 8:10 in the morning to tell me they not going to install the new charger…
Extremely poor customer service.
PLEASE DONT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY JOB because you might have to wait for them ages.
The development director does not have a clue of customer service or how to satisfy their customers when they were wrong!
No compensation offered.
Please use another company instead of them as they don't care about their customers!
Very poor communication and service.You cannot trust them!

Motability advised me of the need to change my nearly one year old EV Easee 7kw outlet fitment, for a Ohme unit.
Everything was taken care of for me, and inside of 2 weeks the new wall box is up and running.
Chrystal Engineering were very efficient and Jack, the fitter, was very professional.

Really fast and smooth service, fitted my EV charger in just a few hours and cleared up nicely afterwards. Thankyou!

Customer service, support and response times are second to none with the team here.
I would like to mention Georgia in particular who has made all the difference with my interaction with C EV C. Thank you once again for your support and excellent customer service and communication.
