Crystal EV Charging Avis 

This is an updated review. I finally received a partial refund for a unit (EV Charger) which was installed but never worked properly. It took a 1 star review on Trustpilot and an application to my credit card company for Crystal to finally wake up and refund my unit, but only after I had removed it and they collected. I wrote to the CEO on three occasions and he never replied, this is also not OK. I was very patient - offering mutple solutions and 'living with' a faulty unit for over a year while asking for them to resolve.
But you can see I find their behaviour and refusal to act reasonably a warning for others. If you do buy from them make sure you pay on credit card, and try not to pay until you have a working unit.
Sorry Crystal, you could have and should have done better. When in March you wrote to blame me for the failures on the second faulty install - a year in - (I had changed a DIP switch setting following the manual which had been wrongly set by your engineer) and refuse to refund that was not OK. Also the refusal to refund any part of the grant of £350 paid to you for an install that never worked (I accepted this so we could move on, but asked for 'goodwill' which you declined). I have now replaced the unit myself and all works great - why couldn't you do that?

We were very pleased with the installation procedure of our Tesla charger. It was carried out by Luke on 15th April 2023. Luke arrived, as agreed, in the morning and installed the charger efficiently and neatly. We are very happy with the result and would not hesitate to recommend this company for EV charger installation.

From following the recommended installer on the Tesla site to speaking to Crystal staff and completing a video call survey, everything was top notch. Engineer arrived at the time specified and was neat and tidy, helped with the set-up and gave me a thorough run through. Highly recommended! 5 ⭐️

Excellent Install. Office staff were extremely professional throughout and at a great cost too. Engineer on the day was polite and only took a few hours. All only took a few days from my first contact with them to actually getting my charger installed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a charger.

I had a new car on order and Crystal are the registered installers for the company where the car was purchased.
The experience was superb, Kerrith and Jack are both very clued up in this mind field of charging options.
The install has taken place this morning and it was tidy, neat and the engineer was really pleasant.
I had a lot of questions surrounding the charger itself, how it measures up to other chargers, and the general reviews on the charger options and kerrith went out of his way to ensure i was happy with my choice.

We haven't had an installation done,we just saw one of their vans out on the road reading their advertising saying they were doing it for a better future for the children but they are still using diesel vans.Kind of hypocritical eh???Why would a company who specialises in electric vehicle charging points and cares do much about the children and the environment not be using electric vehicles themselves??!!!

Great install. Sam was very considerate of my property (more so than I am), worked quietly and unobtrusively and did a really neat and tidy. Customer service is excellent too, repsonding to questions and providing photographs. Highly recommended

Historically I have been mislead and the victim of shoddy service by previous TV engineers who have attempted to fix TV reception issues at my house. Saturday 11th June, I was absolutely delighted to meet a manager called Chris, from Crystal, who arrived at my house to try and fix a 3yr, on-going reception issue. I had only 1 TV channel. He was simply brilliant. knowledgeable, polite, keen to solve the matter and swiftly identified the issues. Once finished I had 111 channels and was overwhelmed. I don't think he realised how grateful my family were. What a credit to himself and Crystal EV Charging. He sets the standard now and restores my faith in TV engineers. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a professional and efficient engineer. Thank you Chris

The service values of the office team are of the highest order and their communication skills are first-class, being swift, polite and proactive. The two engineers who visited my house also met these standards. I highly recommend.

Great experience from initial contact to installation.

I found them via the Tesla website as recommended installers of the Tesla Wall Connector charger. They were able to provide a quote quickly after an initial call and remote survey via a video call.

I had a competitive quote and booked in two days after my charger was delivered by Tesla. The engineer did a great job, no mess, no fuss and did the initial set-up of the charger via the web app.

Highly recommend.

Used their on site EV charging box. Friendly helpful staff. Not many public charging points in this part of England so they saved my life.

Colin & Sam arrived at the scheduled time to my home in Thirsk both wearing masks. On greeting them I was asked did I want them to remove their shoes. Fitted me an EV charger. It ended up developing a few minor faults but this was an opportunity for Jack and his colleagues to show how responsive and professional they are. Come with the highest recommendation.
