I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mr Gore for vision correction surgery. He was highly professional, calm, understanding and diligent throughout and I always felt like my priorities and needs were being listened to. Making contact with his secretary was easy and there was great flexibility around dates for clinic reviews and for the procedure itself. Everything was really well explained and the aftercare plan following the procedure was made very easy to follow.

Daniel Gore is first class and I am very pleased with the operation I had to remove a cataract.
It has been very successful.
He is also very calm, reassuring and approachable. He works with an excellent anaesthetist and opticians and you feel in safe hands. In addition his secretary is very helpful and efficient.
My only comment regarding an improvement needed is that the reception desk teams seem to need some kind of training in customer service. It’s unusual in this kind of setting to find reception staff who seem more interested in engaging with each other than thinking about how they might provide more than a basic service. This excellent medical team deserves better.

Very painless and good experience, didn't have to wait long for the surgery on the day and had really good experiences with staff throughout. A very friendly and on the ball team looking after me the whole time that I really appreciated. The ICL surgery went very smoothly, major recovery was fast mostly except for some halos in vision, which is common apparently and not debilitating or that negative for me as I wait for them to fade a bit more with time as they should do.
It has had a positive impact on my life so far. Daniel Gore seems to really know his stuff and what he's doing, and will discuss it in a down to earth way with you. The surgery was performed calmly, quickly and professionally with seemingly very good effect on my eyes. I see better now than with either vision correction option before, even to 2 lines better than 20/20 coming from a strongly almost 10 negative prescription. He also personally checked up on how my eyes were doing in between the surgery and the follow-up appointment, which I appreciated. His practice manager was incredibly helpful, friendly and swift to resolve issues the entire time, as were all the other staff I met at Moorfields. Thank-you!

Fantastic result from ICL surgery. I have a very strong prescription and was struggling to see properly with my glasses, and unable to tolerate contact lenses due to dry eyes. I looked into ICL as an option and made an appointment for an initial consultation. This involved a series of tests and scans, followed by an assessment with Mr Gore. He took the time to answer my questions and discuss the risks and benefits of the procedure. I made the decision to proceed a week or so later once I had received his report and his practice manager, Shaima, was very helpful in arranging the surgery and appropriate follow up. The surgery itself was straightforward although I was naturally quite nervous. The recovery has been gradual and is still ongoing, but the improvement in visual acuity took less than 24 hours. Mr Gore and his team were quick to respond to questions post surgery and provided a very high standard of care. Would 100% recommend to anyone considering this procedure.

The whole process for my ICL surgery was fantastic. The whole team were super supportive (as I was very nervous) and Mr Gore was extremely professional. I now have better than 20/20 vision. I could not recommend it enough.

Very professional, plenty of tests done at the consultation meeting before Mr. Gore makes a recommendation, and there was no pressure to go ahead with the surgery. My prescription was -3.75 before; I had the SMILE surgery and now have 20/20 vision - it is truly life-changing! The surgery itself was only about 10 minutes in total and although it was scary, it was painless thanks to the numbing drops, and Mr. Gore reassured me throughout the whole procedure, so I felt well looked after.
It did take me a little longer to get my full reading vision back than what was initially communicated (~a week instead of a day or two), but each person has different recovery times, so this is understandable. Overall, I'm so pleased with the results and glad I took the plunge!

I contacted Moorfields Private looking for laser eye surgery. Daniel Gore and his team were very thorough, and having run initial tests advised I was not suitable for laser, but would be suitable for ICL implants. The information received both at the in person appointments, and from follow up questions by email was clear and helpful in making my decision.
My care was always good, and despite some minor complications resulting in a second operation, I am very pleased with the end results.

Very helpful throughout the process and painless

Excellent, pragmatic advice from Daniel Gore. I had been wearing reading glasses for the first time for the last few months and was annoyed at having to take them on and off all the time. I had become very reliant on them and used them every time I was looking at anything close up. I made the appointment at Moorfields to enquire about laser correction. Daniel actually advised me to stop using the reading glasses as much as possible as my long vision is excellent and the reading glasses were making the eye muscles lazy. I have hardly used them at all in the last week since the appointment and actually my eyes are already feeling better. I will use the reading glasses but only when I really need them. Daniel advised that normal age-related degeneration will still obviously occur, but at least I can slow any eye-muscle weakness from over-reliance on reading glasses for as long as possible.
