The whole thing is a SCAM that basically gets you to pay 50p for an initial enquiry. Deep within the terms and conditions, they tell you that, after your 50p enquiry, you are enjoying a trial p... Voir plus

Waste of time and money completed initial searched. Claimed it had found information. Paid then said had nothing. Complained got my 50p back

Just had the same scam happen to me…
Just had the same scam happen to me paid 50 p with my debit card for 48 hours free use of there database this didnt work.
Now find I have had £39 taken from my account.Have now cancelled my card to stop any more deductions.This company should be shut down for scamming people in this way.

Fraudulent Company
On the 4th December 2023 I paid this company £0.50 for a couple of attempts to find an address, which didn't work anyway. I had obviously to give them my card details to make payment. I thought that was that, Wrong.
Last night ( 3/1/24 ) I see on my bank account a pending debit of £39 to Date-App Net.
Checking back to the 4th December I find a debit for the £0.50 and also a payment for £39 which I had not noticed. There was no account linked to my email address, Data-App Net had simply kept my card detail and fraudulently taken two payments of £39, I presume they would have continued to do so, had I not cancelled my card.
The matter is now in the hands of the banks fraud department who are investigating this company and the transactions.

I have been charged with two payments…
I have been charged with two payments and i did not subscribe to this site nor did i pay any money into it.
I have asked for a refund they have declind, i have if i dont get a refund i will get the police invoved and will take it further

This should be ZERO stars. Appalling. Like others, paid 50p for a quick search for an old friend only to discover £39 has been taken from my bank account. When I called them, was told that the ‘trial period’ is 48 hours and it’s all on the website. When I told him that this is not made clear, he told me he did not wish to be ‘argumentative’ with me!!! Disgusting, sharp practice at best. Everyone should be made aware of this ‘company’ and its practices.

This is a fraudulent company
This is a fraudulent company, my bank actually contacted me today about them taking £29.90 each month from my bank account. I have never heard of them or joined them or used thie r website, how on earth they got my bank details is a mystery to me. I think there should be a police investigation as to how this company operates.

Do not trust this company
Do not trust this company. Do not give them any bank details. As per other reviews they take £0.50 and next thing you know they are taking £29.99 subscription. I emailed them and received no reply and when I called it kept cutting off. When I eventually got through I was told the conditions are quite clear in their website

I authorised an original payment of 50p…
I authorised an original payment of 50p ,, then a day later £29.90 was taken out of my bank. I have tried to fill in the cancellation of subscription form ,, but I get a message that I do not have an account
I have informed my bank and they have put a stop on any future payments
Do not trust this company !!!

Fraudulent company
Please see their response to my review which I posted over 2yrs ago and they have responded today 😂 Fraudulent company, see also myonlinesearch.co, they take 50p legitimately it seems then take 29.90 a month from your bank account without authority. They do not answer the phone nor emails. The answerphone message is in French
Additionally, almost all of the 5* reviews for this company are mis spelt in the same manner, e.g i instead of I, with poor grammar and English, and extremely similar wording . This suggests that they are written by the same person or group of people. How odd that they should ask for more information when I have actually phoned their number and the msg is in French. The office address is a building which has,in addition to physical offices, “virtual” office space offering a mail forwarding service etc. I will not let this drop. I used data-app.net which is, it appears, the same company with the same phone number see info-record.com with identical website and phone number
