No acknowledgement email to confirm my claim has been received. No comms confirming that a cheque has been sent. And finally a CHEQUE! what century is this to send cheques?! Apparently, my cheque was posted to me three weeks ago, but no sign of it. To send me a new cheque, Equipsme need to wait two weeks to make sure the first one is not cashed. So it's been over a month now and it looks like it will be another month before I will be reimbursed. Outrageous! I would highly recommend your Finance/Product/Technology department to look into bank transfers as an alternative to cheques.

I've had an Equipsme plan for a while now, and I've made a claim twice - both times when I was getting nowhere with the NHS. Both times the online GP service has referred me to a consultant, and both times I've had an appointment within days, and got sorted out really, really quickly. It's easy, it's fast, and it's been there exactly when I needed it. Right now, with the NHS struggling as it is, I would hate to be without it.

After struggling to get hold of my NHS GP I was relieved to have the Equipsme plan as a back up.
I contacted the GP line explained why I wanted to see a doctor and was able to get an appointment booked the following morning.
The doctor called promptly at the arranged time and as a result of the consultation sent a prescription to my local pharmacy.
It was so easy to access a GP and the medication I needed.
I have also used the nurse helpline a couple of times (I have used this like an alternative to 111) for queries when my young daughter has been ill and the advise and support and advice offered by the nurse has really helped me when I have need it.

I'm finding this system convoluted and not very intuitive. Earlier in the year I had to chase up a GP referral which never materialised. I finally got it, but by that point (6 mo later) I'd kind of given up! Especially when the next steps were prolonged, confusing and convoluted.
Latterly I've been trying to attempt to sort something else out. But I'm finding the members portal quite impenetrable. If I could get to the bottom of this process, I'd dearly love to write them an 'easy guide' flow chart for members like me to understand the process, and with simple steps to following through with appointments and referrals.
Previously having had BUPA where just one phone call is needed with a reference number given, this set up is convoluted, and a few times I have simply just given up paid elsewhere privately. Which defeats the object of the cover really.
As they are linked to AXA, I was a bit surprised. I briefly had AXA cover years ago, but cancelled quite quickly for similar reasons - lots of admin, complex caveats, and in that case years ago, a very misleading booking experience.
If you guys could simplify the process, this customer would be much happier.
So far, I'm kind of disappointed.

Quick, reliable service. Really like that family can be added to the plan. Done the personalised health check, this was sent through the post with speedy results. All services used have been easily accessed via the mobile app.
24-7 GP service gives great peace of mind, especially with a newborn. This has been a real lifeline in COVID when I haven't been able to quickly visit my own GP. I have also used the dental and optical cover, it was really easy to claim. I took a photo of my receipt on the mobile app and quickly received payment for my new glasses. The app was really easy to use and navigate.

Hours after closing the round and raising more than 250K plus over 800K via CrowdCube 2 months before this, the owner of the company puts a note that the already invested 2 years ago VC will change their shares to preferred plus with 15% interest with preference on future exit 1.7-2.5 times. In the last comment same ceo stated that the company is "no niggles" type of environment... Certainly trust this same management who does a difference between small seed investors who invested approximately 1 million and VC who invested 1 million as well. Obviously very nice to announce the news only when and after collecting from seed funding over gbp 1m. At least I have been lucky to get this as info during cooling of period, but go ask Crowdcube investors - they a certainly very very happy. "Professional" attitude, bravo, go and trust them to insure you...

It was a simple process to get the product set up and easy for staff to add family members on if they wished. Help and assistance is only a phone call away if any problems. Not had to make a claim yet but hopefully that process will be as simple. The stress support addition was particularly attractive as a simple low cost addition.
