Had an issue where the I ordered oak…
Had an issue where the I ordered oak veneered newel post cladding kit without realising I needed the oak veneered “mitred kit”. upon arrival of package I phoned Fiximer and expected that they would work with me and provide the kit I require where I was willing to pay for the return of the package and wanted to order the mitred kit, instead I was told I have to make my own arrangements because Fiximer gets preferred rates for delivery of items and they won’t pass on those discounts to me and also told me they would email me their return policy document as they charge 10% on returns. I have returned the items but Fiximer made it as difficult as possible firstly asking to provide order number and then address etc. although they knew it all along and now they have deducted around 25% of the total order amount. Fiximer showed no interest whatsoever in my order hence I used another supplier as they were more keen to charge a percentage on return goods and did not help me to return goods.

Thank you for your comment Mr Abid. We have reviewed all the emails and call recordings in order to clarify the issues raised. Your order was placed , picked, packed, shipped and delivered within 3 days. Two weeks later when you realsied you had ordered the incorrect items you called and asked how to return them, at which point you were emailed our returns policy, the same one that you agree to on the website when you orderd, which comes with your receipt and on a packing slip enclosed in your parcel. This clearly states that if there is an error with the order on your part, it is your responsibility to return it within a 28-day window, which is a common practice in most outlets. We do not, nor can we, find where you were told that we receive a preferential rate for shipping, quite the contrary, in fact, we actually pay a premium for a priority service. When we spoke to you regarding the refund of the return, you were asked to give your full name, address, telephone number, and how you paid for the order. Again, this is a standard DPA requirement; we want to ensure that any refunded monies are returned to the rightful recipient. Finally, the 10% deduction is what is referred to in our terms and conditions as a restocking fee. This is charged as a member of our team has to be pulled away from their role in order to receive,, unpack, quality check, adjust the stock level, reallocated the stock to the warehouse and process the refund. I'm unclear as to which part of the process you found unhelpful in us assisting you through each step of the return as safely and promptly as possible, but thank you for sharing your experience, enabling us to reflect on our procedures and confirm that they were all met. Had a slight issue with my initial…
Had a slight issue with my initial order but that was entirely my fault. The Fiximer team helped me resolve my order including a refund of some parts and reorder of others without any problems. Delivery was prompt and well packed.
The items purchased are of superb quality, even with my limited woodworking skills they look really nice.
Great company to do business with.

Oak Stair Caps and Service
Website very good and clear.
Communication very good.
End product as expected.
Only negative was the wrong items were delivered initially but replacement were sent out very quickly and caused no delays.
Faye is a credit to the company with her friendly approach and communication. Due to her approach, happy to give 5 stars.

Fiximer newel oak cladding.
I spokenwith Fimimer before purchasing newel oak cladding and they were very helpful. Items came within days but one item was damaged (a clamp for fitting the cladding), so I called Fiximer and a replacement was with me within days. Very good service.

Excellent customer care by Angie
The reason for five stars was after two so called failed delivery attempts by FedEx who failed to call on arrival, as it was to an airport I called Fiximer &spoke to Angie who was brilliant. She called me back when she said she would & had the parcel delivered to me within two hours. I take my hat off to her as she saved my bacon.
