I was drawn to the 1 year Investec cash ISA as it had a good rate of interest. I opened the account and deposited cash without any issues. I later discovered that the interest would be automatically paid into my linked account after maturity. This is disappointing as I would like to grow my cash free allowance. I must take some responsibility for not reading the rules properly. I will put this down to experience and place next year’s ISA allowance with another bank that allows interest to remain with the ISA and grow.

At maturity, we pay your interest directly into your linked account, giving you immediate access to your funds and the flexibility to use them however you choose.
We understand your disappointment regarding the automatic payment of interest into your linked account at maturity, particularly as you had hoped to use those funds to maximise your Fixed Rate Cash ISA allowance.

Easy to setup the ISA, but no 2FA
Easy to setup the ISA. I'm very concerned about the lack of any 2FA. If it wasn't was the early closure fee, I'd transfer my investment to somewhere more secure.

Easy for a beginner with no idea
I had no idea how an ISA worked as I had never been in a position to need one.
Your process guided me through it well easy for a beginner to understand.

I have problems logging on. I have registered but doesn’t work. I’ve logged on may times but has stopped and keep trying and don’t get me started with customer service

Lightning quick at opening an account,
Lightning quick at opening an account and transferring a cash ISA from another institution.
Some novel authentication identification processes, but they worked!

Okay, their ISA rate is good, however they don't have an app through which you can access your ISA balance which makes logging in just to see it a bit of a pain.
