Remarkable experience with Just Energy.
I spotted Just Energy's add on Facebook. I was shocked to see the price. I thought that this was a scam but to my surprise it was not. I sent a message on WhatsApp to get the ball rolling. In the background I was doing my research to make sure all was legit and above board. All checked out.
Henry was swift with his replies and the quotation. I was still abit hesitant to pay the large amount for the deposit but in the end pulled the trigger. The next morning I received the reply mail. I few days later I received the equipment and waited till the installation date which I picked. The installation team was very knowledgeable and did I great job.
All in all dealing with Just Energy was a pleasant experience. I personally just want to thank Henry, Dantri and Ruan.

Comment: I felt comfortable working with them since the first time I made contact , they were extremely professional and capable with a high level of knowledge about the product they sell . I was explained properly what to expect and when the job will be done . The job was completed in a very short time and was done absolutely perfectly . Everything was explained to me by the installer and he assisted me to download and connect to the App on my phone to check and control the system . I will recommend these guys to anybody . All in all it was a fun experience to deal with them and when I need to add to my current system they are the only ones I will trust to do the expansion. (I am an engineer myself on a different market and I know how to judge good work) .

I first made contact with Just Energy…
I first made contact with Just Energy on the 16th January via whatsapp which was responded to quickly and after hours. They immediately told me there available dates for installation. We could choose 1 of the available dates that suit us best, i made a provisional booking.
By this time all contact was via whatsapp and email. When i eventually comfirmed our date and accepted there quote along came the invoice.
Now doubt sets in, do you pay people that you only whatsapp'd and emailed.
Anyway, i read comments on there facebook page and trust pilot. I decided to pay. I made payment and because we bank with the same bank, i got an email instantly to say my hardware(inverter and battery) will delivered the next day.
Next day came and i get an sms to say team has just left to do delivery 45 minutes later they are at my premises with the hardware.
Installation was booked for 31st January, got an sms to say team are on there way at 7.56am. 9.15am they at my premises and immediately start measuring up and at 1.30pm they send me log in details for the monitoring app and the job is complete. Almost instantly i get an email to say thank you for using there services.
What an amazing team, what an amazing experience, effiency and updates are out of this world. Haven't experienced customer service like this in life. Well done and may your business grow from strength to strength.

Let me start by voicing my hesitation…
Let me start by voicing my hesitation to award the installation to Dantri due to having to part with a huge deposit before anything was delivered to my house. I made the deposit late afternoon and before 10 the next morning my inverter and battery were delivered to my house, and the solar panels were delivered on the day of installation for safekeeping. My booking was done 2 weeks from the date of order and it happened on the days as planned. The backup system was up and running after day 1 and solar after day 2 as planned. Project planning and execution were done as planned and according to the original budget, with no surprises. I can recommend Just Energy for their price, service, and friendliness.

All I can say is WOW..
All I can say is WOW... This is what customer service should be like.
So long story short. I got a fault on my inverter. Contacted my installer he said no problem it's under warranty he will remove and send it in for repairs. After numerous phone calls and updates to my installer to try find out what's the progress is and virtually no feedback. I got involved and finally managed to get it back after almost 2 months. Reinstalled through a different installer, inverter ran 5 days same error.
Literally pulling my hair out at this stage. By some luck I was scrolling fb and saw a post from Just Energy SA. I phoned them and explained my problem the response was so overwhelming positive. "No problem sir, we will look at it for you immediately" (Remember I'm not a client of Just Energy SA) . After a couple a tests they informed me that the inverter unfortunately had to go in for repairs. (Dreading another 2 months of waiting). Just Energy SA informed me where the unit needs to go. The unit was delivered at the repair centre on the 08-01-2024 at approximately 08:30. Received a phone call around 13:00 the same day that the unit has been repaired and ready for collection.
Now that's what I call service. Remember I'm not a Just Energy SA customer and they still helped me regardless.
I recommend any person looking to go the solar route to use Just Energy SA. I'm officially a customer for life now and know that I'm in the best hands.
A big thanks to the Just Energy SA team for the best service I've ever experienced.
