Poor Customer Service, lack of communication. Hinges seem thin and flimsy.

This is not a UK company they are French Habitat Label although they rent an office in Birmingham.I have been trying to get a sliding electrical gate since September.(paid 3000 in October!) The last pieces arrived this week these 2 posts were held up by customs, everything comes from France there was no customs contact for the other parts. It took 2 months to clear customs they were returned to supplier although I asked if I should pay.where to and how much. I paid this week which I was assured would be refunded
Contact is spasmodic at best. phone unanswered emails (over 200 ) disregarded. In the end I had to enlist the help of a French friend.
I was told they would compensate me but this has not happened. I will update the review if/when this happens

The gates were delivered on time and the quality did not disappoint.

I chose my gate from their on-line catalogue, gave them the design, width and height, and paid the asking price. They phoned me to say they had received my order. Sometime later I had another call telling me the gate had left the factory and would take about two weeks to be delivered. The gate was easy to install and it looks splendid. I would definitely buy from this company again.

I purchased a gate from MR Gates after it became a chore carrying out maintenance on my Automatic timber gates. This was a move that I should have considered a long time ago because, I have one of the most attractive gates in my area. So instead of two opening wooden gates I now have one solid gate which looks as if it is wood or at least that is what my neighbours thought. As far as the company I purchased off goes well " they went the extra mile helping me with the installation. Nothing was too much for them, I fired question after question and all my questions were answered fully. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company and I would do it with confidence.
It has been a pleasant experience throughout.

This is the first time we have used Mr Gates and we found the website very informative, displaying many designs. Our Customer Advisor - Simon - was very courteous and helpful. He replied to any queries very promptly, by either email or a phone call, and kept us informed of delivery etc., at all times. Three days before the delivery date of the gates, the haulage firm phoned to confirm a convenient date and time. The quality of the gates is first class. They arrived well packed and protected and as ordered. We would highly recommend Mr Gates and they would be our first port of call if we require any further products.

To be honest, I was not to sure how this job would go,
but with the help and manuals that Mister Gates supplied, it was straight forward. With the post in and the sizes taken from the helpful manuals, all I had to do was fit the gates.

Gate latch stopped working. I contacted Customer Services, who (once they'd seen a video of the latch not working (!)) sent out a replacement part. Free.

Great gates, low maintaince.

Purchased a new swing gate after having driveway resurfaced. It arrived on time and I am very pleased with the quality of the product - would recommend.

Gate is of excellent quality and was relatively easy to fit. We were so happy with the quality that we returned to Mistergates to purchase the required motor.

We were however disappointed that they would not deliver this to the UK despite us purchasing the gate from them. There was a definite language barrier issue at this point and we felt that the customer service from here on was poor.

The gate was delivered on schedule and the build quality of it is fantastic. It looks amazing and we are very happy with it.

Ordered a garden door, excellent quality, superb customer services. I will recommend this company to anyone looking for quality.

I am very happy with my product which arrived when I expected it to. It was difficult to find someone to hang the gates (too small for builders, too big for handymen/handywomen) so it is good to hear that Mr Gates is looking into providing a fitting service. I had a part which broke most likely due to storms (not on the gate itself, the stopper between the two on the ground) and Mr Gates sent out a replacement very quickly. This is why I have given the five stars, partly due to the product which looks great and is well made and partly due to the aftercare I received.

Ordered a sliding gate on line which was really easy. Delivery was a little late but we were in the middle of a pandemic so very impressed. Delivery was good and now that the gates are installed we are delighted the quality and the finish is second to none. I can’t recommend this company more.

Delivery was longer than expected with Brexit and COVID delays, and I was incorrectly charged customs duty. However, I was kept up to date and the duty was refunded in full.
Great service - would thoroughly recommend.
The product - electronic sliding gate is excellent.
