Do not buy from this company. They take your money upfront and promise a short delivery date. They then take 6 months before they actually deliver. You cannot get hold of them when you try and call and their responses to emails are lacking in commitment and that is when they eventually decide to respond to you. They blame Brexit which we accepted as an excuse on our first order and now they have done it to us again. They also sent us the wrong product even though it was a repeat of the first order. Also although they are a French company as they sell into the UK you would have thought they would have instructions in English. No you have to guess how to install and set up your products. Never again will we use them and would not recommend anyone else doing so either unless you want to be let down!

We are now 7 months with little email response waiting of the automated stuff or a PayPal Refund which is really hard work.

We waited 5 months for our gates and kept being given excuse after excuse after excuse from their customer service team... While fitting the gates one of the motors doesn't work nor does the intercom.

We are now on week 6 with little email response waiting for a reply to the faulty kit and a set of gates that don't work..!!

Ordered the gates End of February and expecting 6-8 weeks. When called end of April another 2 weeks promised. Trying to get to talk about order cut of 5 times after 20 minutes call waiting. Emails ignored!!
Tried messaging end of May of there comments were "I will check and get back to you" Never do, "Order was cancelled and finally confirmed 19th May will take 2 Months" All was confirmed End of Feb. "Will need to get further information" 2 hours later!! Trying to get further information. "Will contact you tomorrow", Never happened, never have they tried to contact me after they had taken payment of just under £4,000. This order is now 14 weeks late, the customer has no gates as it was part of a completed project. I'm completely at a loss for words, not Brexit but incompetence in keeping the customer informed. Useless, even wonder if the business is real due to lack of communication. Obviously sales driven if real.

Ordered Gate, it arrived weeks late - this is not a Brexit or COVID problem. This was years earlier, they cannot deliver on time, they wait until they can fill an artic (I think they are based in France but made in Portugal) from source then it gets dispatched.
It arrived damaged, the one man driver told me it was the way mistergates had loaded it. I needed to help him unload, thank goodness we are both strong.
I contacted mistergates to complain about the missing paint they sent a bright pink touch up pen for my grey gate.
Two years on with no jet-washing the bearings in the rollers failed 6 weeks ago and I'm still waiting for a replacement. They are a non standard size 16mm wide for a 16mm round rail 80mm diameter fitting inside a 17mm recess. Telephone connection to sales is immediate and he will sell me a pair for £140 with delivery in 5-10 working days from stock. Mousine Wissal in customer service wont answer the phone and just keeps making promises and can't give me tracking information.
If you can possibly avoid using this company, I would. You will need new rollers if the gates aren't used inside as they have very poor quality bearings (non-replaceable) with rubbish seals. Good luck getting some!!! I'd thoroughly recommend taking the seals off and ensuring there's enough grease in them every 6 months to put off the inevitable.
I now have a big aluminum gate-looking garden ornament and my home is no-longer secure. Buy British.

By far and away the most appalling service that I have ever experienced. I ordered a gate from Mister Gates on 10/11/2020. I was advised of a 6-7 week lead time from point of order for delivery The gate was not delivered until 18/03/2021, almost four months after the order was placed. When the delivery finally arrived it was incomplete and was missing both the hinge post and slam post as ordered – I was advised by Mister Gates that I had not ordered these items even though I confirmed via email on three separate occasions with Mister Gates, that these items were included in my order. After lengthy and incredibly frustrating dealings with a most unhelpful and unrelenting customer service department, I was offered a store credit. I used the store credit to purchase some additional items. Yet again Mister Gates got the order completely wrong and sent the wrong items. Mister Gates again blamed me for the error, even though my order email clearly stated what parts were required and had a Weblink attached for the parts required. This company is not willing to take ownership of its continual mistakes, is unable to supply goods as ordered anywhere close to the lead times provided and are an absolute nightmare to do business with. I would advise anyone thinking of using this company to stay well clear.

Good quality product. Had to wait an additional 2 months for product but apparently this was due to Brexit. Poor documentation for installation unless you can read French! Need to have English instructions as selling to the UK. Customer support not always responsive. Would buy again however due to product.

gates delivered eventually but 5 weeks late, probably to do with brexit so can live with this, not very good communication with customer services l think they could do with a couple of english phone support staff on hand to deal with technical enquirys etc as not satisfied with the system at present, would use them again but order well in advance, brm developments torbay ltd

Quality of products very good, however, the lead time for delivery was 35 days, the motor and rack came on time but the gate took 63 days! I guess it could be blamed on Brexit / COVID as usual! Very pleased with gate, just got to install it now.

I'm rating the quality of the product. Fantastic construction, well design and built. Easy to install with the adequate groundwork and surface. Would highly recommend their sliding gate.

Easy to order. Delivery a bit expensive but turned out to be an excellent service. Arrived ahead of time, very pleased.

I placed my initial order in September.20 for a sliding gate and fence, I expected a 8-10 week lead time. Delivery arrived 12th.December.20 the Gate was fine but the fencing was short by 5 metres . It took nearly a month for Mr Gate to decide to reprocess my fence order. So between Christmas, covid and Brexit, not sure what or who to blame for this delay. Fence finally arrived on the 15th.March. I am totally happy with their product and would use their service again . I had no issues installing the gate or the fence, the only issues was that I thought I had to chase CS for regular updates, although I have noticed a definite improvement in their communication over the couple of months.

The gates are good quality and the support given by Mister Gates, and also the delivery company, was brilliant. We are very pleased.

We have had the sliding gates for 2 years now and working very well. The communication with Mrgatesdirect was excellent for delivery from France to UK. Instructions did the job, make sure you take your time installing and watch Yourtube video first. Have had a minor problem with the Keypad for entry but they have done an excellent job rectifying, especially Mr Mehdi. A very good gate at a good price.

I'm sure their gates are lovely, made in France, bit expensive, but I'm buying British! The CS is French, and didn't understand the word "Precedent" (even though it's a French word!!! (précédent) He thought I was talking about the president, didn't have heart to tell him we still haven't killed our King/Queen (apart from that unfortunate incident in 1649)😃

We placed an order for our pedestrian gate as we had been unable to find anything of that style locally. After reading the reviews i was slightly concerned that it would actually be delivered. Completely understand that perhaps COVID pandemic and lockdown did not help with their supply of orders but we did have a much longer wait for delivery than estimated when we purchased.

Whilst that was quite frustrating I am very happy with the gate It is very well made and was fairly simple to put up. We were able to fit ourselves with help from our Step Dad. Looks very good and we have had lots of compliments.

Our Gates were a long time in coming but arrived safely were packaged well and in great condition. Easy to install and look very good. Good customer service always polite and happy to help. Thank you.

I wanted to write an honest review as a UK customer, as there seems to be quite a lot of variety in the ratings of late. The gate is as described, has been built well, also colourmatched well to a custom RAL colour. It looks very smart, and I think represents good value for a gate which will last a long time. (The gate probably gets a 5 star rating from me).

Clearly the company has had some logistics issues with the summer, COVID and the UK market. My gate was very late, (approx 3x initial estimate). I also had to do a little more chasing than I would have liked. Hopefully this is a learning experience for the UK team, and in future the delivery and communication will be as well-polished as the gate itself.

I received on time , conform to the description : high quality, easy to install
