Norman Records Avis 131

I think Norman records is one of the best companies I've used to buy vinyl records. They give regular updates on orders, which I find really useful, and everything I've received has been perfect. In my most recent purchase I had pre-ordered a vinyl album that had the release date delayed. The email I received was open and honest in that they didn't know when it would be available, and they offered me an apology and a refund if I didn't want to wait (we should remember that a delayed album release isn't their fault!). As it happens I took the refund option which was done very quickly. Really great communication and customer service every time I have used them. Very happy to, recommend. If I could improve anything, and this would be really nitpicking, I would love email recommendations based on my music preferences rather than the generic new releases type email...although those have resulted in me buying music that I wouldn't have bought otherwise

Just got my vinyl record cleaning kit, 3 days sooner than expected. The kit itself is a thing of Beauty! - Think iphone packaging! Great job team Norman Records!

I chose to place my first order with Norman Records, when looking at the recent limited edition Halloween soundtrack releases on vinyl for the 40th Anniversary of the original movie.

Although there was an issue with stock from the supplier, which was absolutely no fault of Norman Records, they did keep me updated along the way.

Once stock was received and shipped, the care and attention given to the vinyl and the delicate outer box for the set was simply amazing. It was like they care about the vinyl just as much as I do.

I also felt like I was treated like a valued individual when I received replies to emails, instead of the standard 'copy and paste' type emails that most companies tend to send now-a-days.

To top things off, they also took responsibility for another unfortunate issue - which I expect many other retailers have kept quiet about....

An item I ordered along with these was found to be faulty by the label that released it. Before I saw the details of this error on the internet, I had received an email from Norman records informing me of the issue and asking my permission to forward my information to the label to ensure that I'm sent a replacement as soon as it is re-pressed.

So thank you to everyone at Norman Records. This was such a wonderful experience, a revelation in many ways, compared to some of the situations I've had with other retailers.

I just wish there was a way to open the eyes, ears and minds of those that fail so badly at the little things which make a huge difference to the end result.

Regular user of Norman Records. Good range of music to choose from, always deliver quickly, packaging is always excellent and, whenever I've contacted them, they've been friendly and helpful.

Plus their newsletter emails are useful to people tracking new releases too...
