This company is a joke
This company is a joke , they are liars , its the second time they have lied that the engineer came and he got no access, last few months one of them came and said to me he will be back in an hour or two, but never came back, i rang their office and the person I spoke to said engineer didn’t get access, they are crap company whoever runs that company doesn’t even know what they are doing, very unreliable, i don’t know why Dudley Council use them, liars
Awful customer service encounter
Was due a service on my boiler, all booked and on the day engineer calls to say they've run out of time. Not a problem, grateful for the heads up. I call ph Jones direct and the nightmare starts. First lady advises she'll get someone out next day, great, text confirmation comes through it's scheduled for 29th. I call back and get a rude lady by the name of Carly. Sticks me on hold half way through my sentence, has no interest in giving customers a nice friendly experience. So frustrating when you know if the service isn't done soon your gas will be shut off and without heating and hot water soon enough. Finally she comes back and when asked why she put me on hold while I was talking, grumpily replied, I'm not arguing with you. Which is fine I don't want an argument I want an honest friendly conversation to organise a boiler service before Xmas and before I'm left without gas over Xmas and having to arrange an emergency repair.

Enquiry was responded to quite quickly. Elle was able to give me an update on the outstanding job. Would have scored the chat with 5 stars if the customers name was used (makes it more personalised). Also we could have been offered temporary heating whilst waiting for an engineer especially as the customer is vulnerable.

As arranged by my landlord, they were due for an annual check on my boiler, but didn't turn up. They didn't notify me of an issue or reason why they could not attend. This is not the first time PH Jones have not attended my property when they were supposed to. If I was looking for a contractor these charlatans would not even make it on the back-up list of possibilities.
They should be ashamed of themselves & the service they are supposed to, but consistently fail to provide!!

From good to bad
I liked how quick the response was from the agent. I liked that it did not take long to be put through to an agent. I did NOT like that only part of my request was granted. I did NOT like that the agent told me I would receive a text when the engineer is on route an that there would be a tracking link sent to me also for the engineers arrival, HOWEVER at the end of the conversation when I asked about receiving the text she changed her tune and told me the message or call is not guaranteed. This made me angry and let me down alot as I am registered disabled so I mee the extra notice to make sure I can get to the door to let the engineer in. The agent Julie completely turned a great help into an anxiety nightmare

British Gas should be ashamed of themselves associating themselves along side this shambles of a company!!
I took a day off work and was sent a text to say an engineer would be at my premises between 8.00am - 8.00pm. No one turned up!! No call or text.
Some idiot came the next day "the Saturday".
I was at work.
I then had to take another day off work for the 2nd time to wait in for the engineer.
He came and had an awful attitude from the start.
I have been told a part needs ordering and he will basically patch it up. I asked when does he think the part will come and he said "i don't know"
This is a leak were talking about. Unbelievable!!!
I have now been left with a patched up pipe which still leaks, a bucket underneath it and no idea when this so called part will come???
If you are a customer with British Gas and PH Jones are the ones that come out to fix any issues you.
I suggest you cancel any contract you have with British Gas, as the service you receive from PH Jones is appalling.

We are disabled with 2 kids and had to ring yesterday to our council for an emergency call out as our boiler was all of a sudden leaking and we were unable to turn it back on so we had no heating or hot water. We waited all day in jackets, blankets and whatever else we could find to keep us all warm for a man to just turn up at about 5pm (I was ringing the council to chase aswell) he was literally here for about 5 mins and checked the boiler, contained the leak and then came down and said that nothing could be done on a emergency call. Surely they should be well equipped or prepared for this sort of thing to happen ?? When I asked if I need to call today he just said that I will be contacted. I then said but how am I meant to keep warm ? My kids need baths ready for school, for him to ask if we wanted some heaters….well they don’t do much, your still freezing cold and there is no way to make water hot aswell for my kids. Just feel like we were an inconvenience to the man who came out, and he was rushing to go home. We have still got to wait until tomorrow for the parts to be received and then they will come back out and fit them tomorrow evening. I just hope whatever they do works because we are meant to be priority due to our illnessed

ph Jones serviced and repaired my boiler thought they were ok but Wednesday night my CO2 detector went off so I rang the emergency number they came out and caped my gas I went to A&E THE next day to GET MY blood CHECKED 0.02 was the reading. anyway I'm waiting for operations on my knees so I need heat I can't afford to run the electric heaters they left me so it is day 2 but my third night without gas shame on you onward homes and ph Jones

2-3 times they have ordered the wrong parts, change parts that don't changing according to the next energineer that comes out. Supposed to be on an emergency call out. Don't come out, don't update that they will not be there, always say the guy had a meeting. Yeah righto. This happens regularly. Bunch of useless...

Why does Wandsworth council use these companies. Someone is getting back handers somewhere along the line. i will complain to trading standards about this

Absolute joke of a company
Absolute joke of a company, contracted by onward homes to do my annual gas safety check. After the contractor left noticed he had broken the dual purpose oven/grill knob on my cooker. Called them numerous times, 3 weeks later I receive £25 love2shop vouchers in the post, they couldn't even stretch to cover the p+p it will cost on top of the £25 for me to order the knob online and nothing for the inconvenience of having no oven for 3 weeks. Also where do you suggest I buy a knob with love2shop vouchers???????
Fantastic service from the wigan team
I had the wigan team do a fantastic job of fitting my new boiler. Started with great communication from the surveyors Helen and George. Rob (engineer) rang the day before to confirm everything again. He arrived on time and got on with his job, went the extra mile with an access to the loft issue, then delivery of all parts soon after, then Eddy (builder) arrived, harnessed up, got on with his job. Shane (electrician) arrived, he cracked on with his job, explained everything i needed to know about the controller. Inbetween Helen bobbed back to see if everything was going OK. All the team were courteous and polite. Absolutely no mess left anywhere. Over the moon with the service I've received today from the wigan team. 👍great job 👍

I had 10 radiators and boiler fitted within 7 hours excellent service very professional clean and tidy all workers were very polite would definitely recommend this firm the firm was wigan borough

They was all very polite to us, they put sheets all on the floor to protect my carpet and cleaned up after them selfs. They let me know everything that they was gonna to do before doing it.
