I stayed with P&V as a child and wanted to book our first family holiday with them - picked an apartment for a week and thankfully the "pay later" option so just a small deposit.
They won't reply to messages on social media, don't publish an email address or offer a live chat option. When I finally phoned the number to query a few items on the booking, the person tried to rebook the apartment rather than understanding my questions.
Also, another agent couldn't tell me if the pool was open at the apartments off-peak OR whether or not I would be able to check in on a Sunday evening - their solution was to pay extra for an early check in. Thankfully was able to cancel and book elsewhere and only lost the small deposit.
They need to provide a service where you can contact them in writing to discuss holidays rather than relying on just a phone service where queries aren't understood.

We reserved a flat in the Meribel premium resort "Hevana". The only way to contact them is through a tell number which is actually not in France mainland. To cut it short, EE charged me £125 for a 29mn booking conversation! I would warn anyone living in the UK mot to contact their telephone number (the one on the website).

I selected the Benalmadena property with price in mind, only to be charged an extra admin fee of €29 right at the end of the process. How we all hate this type of sneaky charge and look how much trouble the airlines get when they slip in extra charges. This really spoilt the booking experience and will make me think twice before booking with P&V again.

The website said it couldn't take payment from one card, so I paid with another.

I then got a text from my bank saying both payments had been made.

And an email from P&V saying I had reserved but not paid.

I called P&V and and they told me they couldn't help me, couldn't see what had happened, couldn't see 2 payments and I wold just have to see what happened in the next couple of days...

Your website shows that I can arrive and depart on flexible days. However, I have tried to amend my booking (reference 10810824) to Sunday 29/1 to Sunday 5/2/2017 and I have been told that this is not possible.

Opted to pay in 2 instalments by credit card. Email tells me I've opted to pay by cheque and will not confirm booking until it's received (at least that's how it translated). Not very useful/helpful experience.

Have I got a booking??
