I ordered a Lux Washable LUX04 Blue Gold Rug for our hall, however when it arrive the pile was so slippery you couldn't walk on the rug...in fact I slipped on it. It was dangerous so I had to return it. I was charged £30 to return it despite the rug being dangerous and not fit for purpose. When I wrote to the customer service team, they said the descripton of the rug stated it was "slightly slippery" so they wouldn't waive the return fee. You cannot sell a rug you can't walk on, it's dangerous. Thoroughly disappointed, will not buy anything from Rugs Direct as have no confidence in their products or customer service

Waited for over a month for my rugs to arrive ????

The delivery information was all wrong, first it was advised between 16.59 and 18.59 one day and the driver
did not show although the message left on my computer said that there was no answer when he rang the door bell.
when I Phone Rugs Direct he said he would contact the haulier. The next thing a message was received the following morning saying that the rug would be delivered the next day between the same hours but was not, The driver dropped off the rug when I was out about 3 P.M. and left it with the next door neighbour, No message was put through the letter box and only when it was passed 7 p.m. and I was going to send another message that a note was left on my computer to say where it was.
