The delivery information was all wrong, first it was advised between 16.59 and 18.59 one day and the driver
did not show although the message left on my computer said that there was no answer when he rang the door bell.
when I Phone Rugs Direct he said he would contact the haulier. The next thing a message was received the following morning saying that the rug would be delivered the next day between the same hours but was not, The driver dropped off the rug when I was out about 3 P.M. and left it with the next door neighbour, No message was put through the letter box and only when it was passed 7 p.m. and I was going to send another message that a note was left on my computer to say where it was.

No issues with purchasing and delivery of two rugs but disappointed with the quality of one of the rugs .One just will not stop rucking up despite following care instructions to the letter .The edges of the rug are not straight on one side . Unfortunately we didn't open the rug for over two weeks due to decorating and no longer have packaging to return it . Probably wouldn't buy from company again

I placed an order for a rug in mid-January which was listed as “new stock arriving soon.” Over the following weeks, the dispatch date was revised three separate times, with delivery eventually pushed to the end of March nearly 2 months later than originally anticipated.

Communication around the delays was not particularly clear, and while small goodwill credits were offered, the overall experience felt frustrating and poorly managed.

I ultimately decided to cancel the order and received a full refund, which was processed promptly.

Unfortunately, the repeated delays and lack of certainty mean I wouldn’t order again.

I'm very disappointed with my purchase. The rug has deep creases which won't come out as they are too embedded. To return the rug i have to pay for postage which seems very unfair due to the bad quality of the rug i was sold. It definitely does not look like the picture on the website.

Ordered two door thresholds listed as antique brass on their sister site, stair-rodsdirect, based on the product photos on the website, which show a light, golden brass finish. What arrived was far darker and much closer to an antique bronze/brown colour.
I raised this with customer service and shared multiple comparison photos, including one next to an existing antique brass fitting. While they acknowledged their finishes “vary from batch to batch”, they ultimately admitted that their antique brass is darker than the images shown online — and still refused a return or refund.
In other words, the product does not match the imagery used to sell it, but they’re unwilling to take responsibility for that mismatch.
If the final product looks nothing like the photos, customers should be told upfront. Poor service, misleading listings, and a frustrating experience overall.

Prompt delivery for my small rug BUT not good quality &flimsy & although it said 'easy returns' they direct you to 'Stampfree' (isn't 'free' btw) which would be £13-£14 !!! or they say take it to Royal Mail to see if they are less expensive!

I have recently purchased two Rugs from Rugs Direct and I have to say it was a pleasure from start to finish.

Every member of staff without exception were very knowledgeable, give superb customer service, were professional but above everything were very kind and patient.

My Rugs are beyond my expectations and look gorgeous in my home

I would recommend Rugs Direct to everyone I know knowing I can rest assure that they will not let you down

I ordered a rug just after Christmas, it arrived after a week and the quality of the rug was just not as described the thickness of the rug in the image was very misleading, so I wished to return it. Rugs direct said I was able to do this but I would have to incur the cost of returning the rug they sent a list of couriers. However the cost of returning the rug was going to cost me for£40-60 which is absurd amount. They have not responded when I relayed this matter. Please be warned.
