I moved to Sonovate just over a year ago from Lloyd’s factoring. I had a bad experience with an independent factoring company prior to being at Lloyd’s so it took me long time and lots of discussion to make the move, but I am so glad I finally did. Sonovate is backed by Prudential so you get the security of knowing they are backed by big finance but the feel and creativity of an independent company. In the initial stage of transferring the sales consultant Richard Lester was excellent I must have asked a 100 questions and they were all answered honestly, &transparently. Having funding at 100 per cent has been fantastic and I would not go back to less than this now. I am able to control my cash flow and it has enabled me to grow the company. Sonovate are innovators. They have several different platforms depending on your needs so make sure you choose the best one that fits your needs. I’m on the ‘capital’ platform and although it sometimes has a few technical glitches they are always sorted quickly. Technical issues are normally due to improvements to the system, so I can live with that. Invoices are chased politely, efficiently and I haven’t had any issues with client credit limits at all. I communicate with the same people day to day and they are always helpful, however because everything works so well I don’t need to speak to them that often! If you are looking for 100 per cent funding, and want to partner with a forward looking factoring company then I would highly recommend Sonovate. And please, if you are with a big named bank, factoring, it’s time to make the move!
