SCAMMERS

Disqualify and unprofessional staff, called Monica and James. Also untrustworthy services. They use fake advertising to make you pay fee from £79 for book a viewing from properties no longer is available or even doesn’t exist in them list. I’m taking this case to the court and police as this is a SCAMMER.

This website is a scam. They take advantage of people to make more money. Do not use them at all. Please don't spend the money here. You will lose it!

I would love to give them - 0. 1 is too much.. Paid the money needed a place. They have never, ever contacted me to offer me a room/ ask me what I am looking for/ call me to confirm the room a chose for myself from there website. After several conversation with arrogant - robot sounding like, girls from there agencies I finally got it. They won't be moving a finger to search for a room for me, so I will have to do it myself. I picked a few rooms from there webpage (spended a lot of time to match them with my requirements, something I though they will do, after I paid...) and asked questions about them, none of which was answered. Running out of time and desperate I just picked a room and tell them I am ready to pay and move in. The answer was - when the landlord confirm, that they are happy with you, we will call you. Day after day the same answer. Don't know how long it takes to contact a person with now days technology and also why if a landlord agreed to be letting their space you need a further confirmation that - THEY ARE LETTING THEIR PLACE. After a lot of nerv recking conversations, total desperation and finally realisation that I have wasted my money on a service I will NEVER be provided with (I kid you not, those guys never called nor texted me. All communication was initiated by me!) I finally sucked it up and moved back to my old room from last year with a private landlord. Conclusion - DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, TIME OR SANITY!

The customer service is really bad They are super rude and just asking for money.... I don't know if they actually renting or just a scam but Tak care btw I didn't paid luckily

Avoid at all costs!! I was looking for a house they advertised but they first charge you c.80£ membership fee to arrange viewings. Despite making this payment and requesting a viewing every single day for two weeks, they didn’t even send a video of the property in question, or even the other properties on their platform I was interested in. Instead they arrange viewings of properties completely unrelated to your criteria. The only person at the office won’t pick up the phone, doesn’t seem to care and would copy-paste a text to you in response to your queries. Money down the drain. I am considering suing them for fraud!!

Why they are still working??? They are a complete scam!!!!

The worst service you can dig into , do not pay the fee because nothing recommends a normal one for you, I never show the flat you want to see. instead they send you to disgusting dirty holes and only waste your precious time. My big mistake was the payment of a fee of 79 pounds, which they do not want to return if you resign after 3 days. in a word, money thrown into the mud

Everything about This company is just wrong, staff is unfriendly/rude to you, always charging you money after 3 months if u haven’t found a place yet.. They don’t have any agents to go with you, they set you up with the landlord that can be rude to you at least that’s what happened to me not to talk about the alcohol smell coming out of his mouth, anyway pls pls avoid this company at all cost.

This company is a scam. If someone has fallen for them, just contact your bank, as according to the tenancy act and consumer right act 2015 they are unable to charge any additional fees. It took some time, but I got my money back.

trusted them-offered a cheap hotel for a month- i went to london prices had doubled- say i have to pay more -more than there ads suggest,theyhave let me down, i trusted them used to be flatlets

Just a scam of a company. How do you get a refund from these unserious people?

I am extremely disappointed with the service of spacelet.

True, they source to excellent deals and a unique system of locating and offering up low cost rentals, but the attitude and carelessness of staff has left me disappointed and bewildered.

My limited availability meant I couldn't see many flats, and when I could spacelet was a great way to quickly book viewings. Except, of the 7/8 viewings I went to, 2 of them actually met my criteria. Meaning I trekked halfway across London on multiple occasions to view a property I could not afford.

Very shameful.

Reading through the 5* reviews and they are so obviously fake.. do not go near these guys. You can find the same properties through other agencies without having to pay a £79 sign up fee. Awful sales pitch and shocking outfit.

What a nasty thing to do.

Writing a review because you do not have the intelligence to understand a different concept to renting.

You only have to compare our rents to local estate agents and letting agents to see the difference.

We will be responding to your malicious review and it will be apparent to all what a nasty piece of work you are.

All because you are too mean to pay for a valid service.

Can’t thank spacelet enough, found the perfect studio apartment in West Kensington, don’t read to the awful reviews.

Whoever “Claire” is in the good reviews is either long gone or made up! This company is a scam, they ignored my preferences and sent me to properties I’d never seen pictures of because they were “brand new” (read: awful and I wouldn’t have gone had I known.) After 3 weeks I still couldn't get a viewing for the *one* property I had wanted to look at, and I was £79 down for no reason.
I’ve complained and been ignored, I will be taking it further, I can’t believe they get away with it.

Please do not give any money to this company. The adverts listed on the site are old, inaccurate, and they will send you to viewings with false information. I joined when I was in a desperate position to find new accommodation and regret not looking at reviews sooner.

I gave Spacelet a fair shot, I attended 6 viewings and half the time the prices were incorrect on their site, and the information is inadequate and not provided prior to the viewing. Most viewings were with the company Bartlett Group and I have reported this feedback to them as I can't believe it's in their best interest to be represented by Spacelet.

I joined because there were a few adverts that looked promising. I was told membership was needed to confirm viewings, and foolishly paid for this. Very suddenly one of these was taken and I was told, after three enquiries, that the landlord was not contactable for viewings. These adverts are still listed as 'new'. Employees of Spacelet should be ashamed.

I have reported to Zoopla as this is where I found their adverts.
