DON’T EVER THINKING ABOUT JOINING!!!

If only i could give negative stars to this agency! I have been scammed! None of the landlords I have responded back to me (5+ flats I requested to view). I was so desperate to find a new flat that’s why I paid for 2 people £90 for nothing. I never had a chance to see a single flat! Oh God. My 3 months subs with the have already expired and just wasted my money! They told me that they will refund my money but they didn’t come back to me and it has been 5 months.

Never pay upfront to view

Never pay upfront to view, even if its phrased as a membership. You find the place by searching the Internet, they say you pay them for finding you a place? How, the place you want is never actually available based on previous reviews. The place I was interested in was linked to another company also asking for a viewing fee desigised as a membership fee- this is not a gym. Stop scaming innocent people trying to find a roof over their heads in an expensive city like London.

a total waste of my money and energy..

They show all these supposedly available properties on Gumtree where they advertise and lure roomhunters like me in, then they all just happen to be let it seems after you finally pay your "membership" money.. It feels terribly misleading, given they tell you they find rooms 'for you' . They don't tell you until you pay their ridiculous fee that their idea of making appointments for you with landlords, means you have to follow stupid rules and impersonal procedures for them.
They show all these supposedly available properties on Gumtree where they advertise and lure people in, then they all just happen to be let the very next day after you finally pay your "membership" money which they claim is for finding places for you. Talk about false and misleading advertising! They also don't tell you until you pay this ridiculous fee to that their idea of making appointments for you with landlords, means you have to follow stupid impersonal procedures which means these people barely lift a finger to help you. You cannot book appointments in advance. You must go through their website they give you access to upon payment, create a "wishlist"by marking the properties you want to view, but you MUST call them before midday each day that you can view that evening, and they apparently "do their best" to contact landlords of all the properties on your wishlist to see which ones you can view. In reality, noone lifts a finger to help. In reality, what this ACTUALLY means, is that they *may* contact you with one or possibly two or those, for, let's say 6pm (because all viewings seem to only be at 6pm on any given day so you can't actually get more than one a day usually(!) and this is NOT an appointment they've made for you - you turn up and there are often 6 people and a "landlord's representative" comes and opens up and shows you. You don't get to meet the landlord at all. If you decide you really want to view the property, this representative, like at Bartlett Real Estate agents who did this last viewing I went to - give you a piece of paper with ridiculous requirements for being able to apply.. as a 40 year old full-time professional I take great issue with firstly having to show ANY actual payslips if you are paying a deposit on top of the rent, but secondly they want a LETTER from your employer stating how much they pay you.. this is ludricrous. AND, if you decide you really want one of these places you are shown, they say you can only get it if you turn up at 10am the next morning at their office. So, if you are in fulltime work, how they expect you to do this is beyond me, hence why I m STILL looking for simple cheaper place to live. Also, I have got 11 places on my wishlist, and Spacelet send you to one they make said "appointment' for, but you don't know which one it is until you go view it. Their people are also rude and defensive when you bring up this issue, as well as the fact that they continue to advertise already-let properties to entice new paying registrants to their service. Lastly, I was sent to a property that also was not on my wishlist as it turns out and was way over my budget I found out when I turned up there and asked the guy who let me in. It was such a s waste of time. No apology nor response again from Spacelet. My recommendation, keep looking yourself and save your money. do not pay these people and companies like them. Absolute waste of money and effort. Lastly, if you are available on a weekend, you can only view places if you contact them by midday on Friday. Totally impractical.
