Excellent service. Handles look smart and have a strong return after pushing them down. Disappointed that screw heads’ black coating slightly came off when fitting, but overall impact not diminished.

Good company to use, goods were delivered really quickly. Good prices too. Will use again if needed.

Placed an order on 13th Jan and still no update on my order. Emails have gone ignored and noone answers the phone. I needed this order but due to no updates will have to request a refund via paypal. For this reason i cannot recommend this service.

I understand Stronghold Direct is a family run business. I ordered from
them a bike lock, the price was competitive plus additional cost for DPD delivery.

On placing the order online, I did receive a confirmation email from
the payment company, but not from Strongholds. As the order was placed at the weekend I gave it a couple of days for confirmation of the order, unfortunately it wasn’t forthcoming.

I decided to call them, it took
6 attempts during the day until finally someone answered the phone. I explained I hadn’t received an email order confirmation, but the gentleman I spoke to confirmed they had my order and it would be processed that day for delivery the following day by DPD.

The order was received the following day, and seemed pretty well packed considering it was a heavy Ulock. Unfortunately on unpacking, it would seem in transit the lower plastic casing of the lock had been damaged. I contacted Stronghold, once again challenging to get an answer, but when I did the same gentleman answered, I explained the situation and he said he would refund my money and that I could keep the lock as it was unsaleable. This I felt was excellent customer service. My only small criticism is the challenges of getting through on the phone. They seem a great little business and were competitive and extremely fair. I would definitely use them again for security products.

The hinges arrived in time and were good quality at a good price.

Ordered some door handles and the manufacturer. Stronghold customer service immediately informed me about the delay, offered to reimburse the cost if I wasn't willing to wait and then kept me updated. I really appreciated the communication and how they handled the situation.

Parts took a bit too long to arrive and when they did some were wrong parts sent. However, everyone makes mistakes and as long as it is rectified as quick as possible it’s not the end of the world.

They were great at getting in touch with me (despite the initial email going straight to my spam Inbox) to let me know one of my items wouldn't be in stock for a while.

Otherwise, everything excellent and arrived promptly. Would use again.
