The staff were very helpful, but most important of all replied to calls and e-mails promptly, which is rare these days.

I had an appointment with Dr Hejda-Forde about a gender dysphoria diagnosis. the support i received was brilliant and she was incredibly kind and empathetic. i would definitely recommend her.

The Gender Clinic have been lovely and supportive from start to finish. Every step of the way, they made me feel safe, understood, respected, valued, and were prompt as possible in keeping me clearly informed about every stage in the process. Having reached out to them in a state of great trepidation, they put me at ease, and have had a truly life-changing impact on the course of my future existence.

Everyone was so kind and I was kept well updated throughout. They were absolutely brilliant and I'm so glad I went with them.

Very helpful, excellent therapist professionals to assist a step forward, someone that is very capable of listening, examining, giving tests, very NHS approved quality such as the support you're looking for, very fantastic, not just "good job, very good organization". Very more than a organization, the people who diagnosed me for 'gender dysphoria'. I found a step forward in life.

I had my appointment with Dr Hejda-Forde back in May of 2021, I was extremely nervous going into it but that soon subsided. She was incredibly polite and the questions were very clear and easily understandable, I had no problems in my assessment and got my GD diagnosis very painlessly. Highly recommend this service if you're considering going private, compared to the 4+ year NHS waiting list, it took just over a month from getting my referral to starting HRT with the London Transgender Clinic.

I’ve had two appointments with Dr Al-Juffali to date. One was to get a referral for hormones and another for top surgery. Both times she was a pleasure to speak to, making me feel comfortable in the conversation and made what could feel like an intrusive process feel as though it wasn’t so. I felt entirely informed throughout the whole process. Thank you!

Dr Popelyuk was very helpful in giving me my GD diagnosis and referring me for top surgery. Pros: I got the appointment very fast, I got the diagnosis and referral in one session, he was understanding about my mental health history and didn't let it impede my progression with my transition. Cons: it was an expensive option, he asked to speak to a family member to 'corroborate' my account which felt a bit strange.

My consultation with Dr Anderson was genuinely amazing. Though I was stressed out at first, I managed to open up and express how I feel, and I felt listened to and understood. The consultation made me a lot less insecure about who I am and fully ready to continue with my journey.

So I had my appointment with Dr Al-Juffali in April 2021 for my referral for hormones and I found the experience amazing. I felt like I was really listened to and it was way less stressful than I expected. I think the only off putting thing is the price, but definitely worth paying more for such an easy experience, especially as I got seen in like a month after contacting them.

I have had two appointments with Dr Khalid regarding gender dysphoria diagnosis and surgery/HRT referral. I found the prospect of engaging with the process very daunting, as it was unfamiliar ground to me, and entered my first appointment feeling extremely anxious. However, I needn’t have been. Dr Khalid’s manner was warm, and I felt throughout that she listened to me and understood my needs. At no point did I have cause to feel doubts or concerns about how my case was being handled.

Moreover, communicating with The Gender Clinic has been simple, whether by email or over the phone; the admin team is friendly, polite and efficient.

I would definitely recommend.

I had my zoom appointment with Dr Popelyuk last year and he recommended me for top surgery. I had a doctor appointment with the London Transgender Clinic following the recommendation but have had no word back to arrange a date for surgery even though I have tried to get in touch with them. I have been completely ignored and I don't know why. I have approached other clinics for surgery but unfortunately your practice isn't approved for gender referrals so no joy for me unfortunately...extremely disappointed. I have wasted all that money for nothing..sorry to be negative.
The Gender Clinic have now been in touch with me and are going to sort out the problems I am having with my top surgery by approaching other surgeons on my behalf. I am very happy with the Gender Clinic for their prompt response and care..

It was easy to arrange an appointment and get in contact with the team ahead of time, everything was explained to me and made very clear. My appointment with Dr Khalid went really well, she is incredibly professional and made what could have been a difficult and personal set of questions easy to go through. It did not feel impersonal despite it being a clinical assessment, I felt reassured and listened to, which was reflected in the write-up. It didn't feel rushed in any way and I found Dr Khalid very personable. I'm incredibly glad for the experience, as these types of appointments can be hard-going.

They were very friendly and kind and helpful.

Availability for appointments months ahead of other clinics. Dr Hejda-Forde was wonderful, very easy to talk to. Fully reccomend!

Every member of the team, from the admin staff up to the psychology team was friendly, warm and efficient. Dr Hejda-Forde was very receptive, kind and conscientious. A true ally.
