THE LOTT WEBSITE AND APP WON'T WORK ON WIFI

UPDATE: I am being assisted with this issue via Messenger. Thank you.

As of yesterday (22 Nov 2022), The Lott app and website will not load properly using my home wifi - but the app works fine using 4G. I note from other reviews that this has been a problem for users in the past.

I also note that The Lott recommends restarting the router, which I have done - but that didn't fix the problem. The Lott site/app is the only site/app I use where this problem is occurring so I assume the issue is with The Lott's site.

The use of a green screen to wallpaper…

The use of a green screen to wallpaper the draw is distracting an has brought forward the observation that the commentator anchor is actually in a different filmed frame to the filmed frame of the number drawing. So you have two filmed frames cut into the one clip. An if you include the green screen wall paper you could say three filmed frames put into the one clip. It's a massive distraction. Very clever multimedia.

Hi Amit, Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback. Love your interest in our videos, we do film videos at Channel 7 of some behind the scenes content before the live draw occurs. Unfortunately, as this is filmed just before the draw we don't have time to add in the affects required for the Channel 7 official draw background.

A really bad ongoing issue

I had a really bad ongoing customer service experience with the Lott regarding my account and updating my details. I found them extremely unhelpful and dismissive after calling so after weeks of back and forth emails and phone calls, to verify my name and make a simple change and sending a ridiculous amount of all of my personal ID’s I finally just demanded to speak to a manager who eventually said he’d clear up the issue. Unfortunately he still has not even after providing more proof of name and everything asked of me. I am unable to withdraw any winnings I have with the Lott until I’m verified. This terrible experience made me question the integrity of the company and now I see 100’s of bad reviews on here. I think I’ll reconsider using the Lott. Really disappointing. It’s also interesting that they say they have government officials present although you never see them, and the video always cuts before the first ball pops up! Super suss if you ask me. As you need all the amount of balls to be accurate to win so them even rigging that 1st one is enough to void anyone winning. Not feeling this is a trustworthy or above board company after all. Very Disappointed in the Lott.

Favourite numbers not shown after purchase

When I go to the Favourites sections of the website that contains my pre chosen numbers and buy a ticket after I purchase it will give me computer generated numbers. I have tried contacting them about it but no response.

I have been trying to cancel my subscription, but the app wont work outside of Australia (I have emigrated). I have explained to them that I can't call the numbers provided but I think there is a bot responding because I get no alternative response to "phone these numbers". Terrible service and a complete rip off. Disgusting!

Lotto app

For the most part, this is a good ap. It's convenient, simple to use and does what you'd expect it to do.

I've taken a star off because it has recently stopped working through my home wifi. It continues to work fine over 4G. I can't for the life of me work out why this should suddenly be the case, but it is. I haven't changed anything, and everything else I have works fine over wifi as it has always done.

Otherwise, this is great option that saves having to go to a newsagent or log on to my home computer.

Can I get some more information to diagnose this problem? Are you using a VPN? This may be contributing to the problem, as our website is only available in Australia. If you try turning it off it should work again for you.

Legal theft?

Placed a couple of wagers on Powerball last week for the first time. Won $40.00 and was informed by e-mail. Was then told I needed to verify my ID. Fair enough. As a Permanent Resident, sent them my Visa & passport details, as requested. Was then informed I had to send additional verification and sent my ATO Tax assessment Notice. Was informed then that I needed to send further proof. Could not comply as I am self-employed, renting, do not drive, pay no utilities bills, my rent agreement was signed almost 8 years ago and am not receiving benefits from Centrelink. Rang the customer Service line and was politely told that they couldn't help as they were just following their legal Ts&Cs. Have given up gracefully and am resigned to losing my wagers and the win. Disgracefully unfair process where you are encouraged to place a wager and provide ID proof thereafter, which proved impossibly difficult in my case. Shame on you!

This new oz lotto wins for lotto, but players loose.

This new oz lotto is terrible been playing lotto since my teens , your making it harder to win even a tiny prize,you have added extra numbers on the other games and to be honest your making me think it’s not worth it any more, to hard, there was a time we could win a little and would help pay for extra games following week now lotto has become greedy bring back the original games stop changing what we played for years , I bet the people who make the changes are not players just lotto working out the odds of players actually winning ,lotto wins every week, players just dream and loose all the time.

I love the Lott app

I love the Lott app. I've never had any trouble accessing winnings(other than they're a bit small lol). I've been using it for years with no problems. With millions of people playing each week it's funny that people get miffed about not winning (read this in the reviews). The odds of winning a big one are so slim (do some research)I'm aware of that every time I buy but if I'm not in it I can't win it! Also who would rigging it benefit🤔 We're already so lucky in Australia for so many reasons. Get the app. It's great. Good luck!

Awful verification process for overseas…

Awful verification process for overseas players. I think they probably aren't that interested in international players. I hope getting paid out a major prize isn't as complicated for winners. Oz Lotteries make verification so much easier. Terms and Conditions to play through this service look scary - they just go on and on and on. I wonder if anybody reads them.

In reply to the reply: I'm in NZ and your website makes it appear as if I should be able to play. At least one of us is confused - I am for sure and I think you may be as well. lol

Update: There is no update. Still unverified. Oh well.

You can however, play lotteries with some of our authorised sellers such as Oz Lotteries, which allow you to play in certain countries outside of Australia for a full list visit their website. I hope that helps, have a great day!

I cannot get my small winnings out of these people.
Nobody has returned my email to ask them why it is virtually impossible to so called "verify" my identity.
Nobody answers the phone if you try to call them,
Is this how Tattslotto is run?
You cannot possibly have an orginisation so big as the Lotteries that nobody answers the phone or emails.
I have long thought that Lotto is a scam as when the first prize jackpots, always one unknown winner living somewhere non specific and who you never find out who they are, very convenient.
I only have a small win of 90 dollars which I cannot withdraw, what if it was a large prize?
Never, ever again will I buy online again. I do intend to take this further,
