The worst marketplace because of the customer service seems not educated and trained, They all just like monkeys sitting in front of the computer without even understand anything and just getting paid for it

All customer service here are just idiot and stupid, and fvcking useless

Tokopedia is hosting a number of software pirates and benefits from copyright infringement on the industrial scale.

The legal contact is deliberately unhelpful and makes it deliberately difficult to take down the infringing listings even when the infringement is obvious.

At the moment we are considering to sue the Tokopedia directors and administrators as this behaviour has all signs of crime and should be put to an end.

Customer service jelek . Setiap ada masalah tidak bisa bantu, jawaban seperti bots yang berulang ulang dan nada juga tidak sabar. Kalau sudah dapat customer yang ga reply tentang misal mau ubah kurir pengiriman/ alamat pickup, you’re on your own. Ga dibantu juga. Pusing sendiri. jadi balik lagi musti tunggu customer reply. Kalau ga ya seller mati sendiri.

Saya juga pernah dapat yang customer ga pernah reply dan saya tetap tunggu sampai akhirnya batas waktu habis untuk respond. sampai akhirnya medali saya di toko hilang satu. Tokopedia tetap menyalahkan saya walaupun saya sudah berusaha menghubungi pembeli.

Sebenerny org ini telah melakukan penipuan via tokopedia berulang kali. Tp kok bisa dy selalu bisa bikin akun baru, dan menipu lagi. Lalu dr pihak tokopedia masih meminta biaya layanan kartu kredit sebesar 300 rb lebih. Enak ya. Karena banyak yg nipu. Tokped nya masih dpt untung dr biaya layanan. Kalau gt pantas saja org nipu nya masi bisa bergerak di tokped. Karena masih menguntungkan buat tokped. Tp overall makAsih, uang sy masih aman. Seharusnya biaya layanan dibebankan ke penjual, apabila transaksi batal akibat kesalahan penjual. Yaitu penipu

This is the worst customer service i ever seen. Nobody can call them, i got an account problem and cant even access customer support. Their numbers aint picked up. A total no go for anyone who expect some decent customer support

A very dissapointing experience for electronic sellers.

If the consumer were to damage the sold product and complain, you will be sent the broken item back and forced to refund. This applies even after the consumer sent bad and ambiguous 'evidence' for his claims. Its reconciliation system is very unprofessional and a joke.

I definitely won't recommend this service ever.

This app and mechanism is great, but i think Tokopedia need to filter the seller more. Since there are some fraudulent seller

The site itself is good. Sadly, like most Indonesian online sales platforms, the site is full of sellers who do not actually have the item they claim to be selling. In decent countries this would constitute fraud, but in Indonesia it is just normal.

As a buyer, you have to check, check and check again, because of the low quality of the sellers. "do you have this item?" "you know when I pay for same day delivery it means you send today not wait until next week?" And even then, after sending the money, you might get an 'out of stock' reply. It just wastes your time, but that is the norm in Indonesia, where professionalism is incredibly rare.

Great User Interface (UI) design, much better than other marketplaces in Indonesia.

Sometimes their customer service aren't very helpful, but i have encountered much worse.

I can't pay by credit card. When i try to save my credit card on the website, it just keeps giving errors for no reason. The only ways to pay then for me are to pay at the supermarket with a code, and when I went to two supermarkets they said their system had an error so they couldn't take my payment..

Also the website is not in English. I've decided just to not order anything from them. i also can't even seem to manage to find their phone number or mailaddress anywhere.

To all foreign buyers: this is NOT like Amazon or Ebay, far away... This is Far West!
Thousands of product counterfait with the seller saying "original 100%", sellers that can use the "no refund" policy, products out of stock but the advertisement is still there (you pay, you don't get nothing... You MUST ask: "is it in stock?" before buying).

I bought a product, the seller simply didn't do nothing, after 2 days the order was automatically cancelled and the money back, NOT in my pocket, but on the tokopedia account, and NOT the full amount. So I bought again from a different seller, but I had to add the money difference. For a bug, the product results paid in some part of the website, but not in some other.
Result? I paid twice, I didn't get nothing.
I tried hard to find a customer service, but apparently there isn't any. It's a roulette, now you know.

UPDATE: apparently the best way to get some customer service is to go in Tokopedia FB page and spam angry comments on random posts... They will contact you in few minutes!

Everything good until you don't need their "perfect" tokopedia care. My order was canceled by seller, money has not been refunded. I tried to open complaint ticket and guess what...it's not possible bcs of some bug on site. I wrote email to them, automatic reply reffering to the site where it is not working. Never more.

I love tokopedia. I think it's the best e-commerce marketplace. The design is super simple and clean. The experience purchasing products there, has been great.

No change or refund protection. Seller basically has power to deny any complaint. Even for buyer pay for shipping charge. No regulation for fake items or misleading pictures. Beware for group of scam users.

I was always had good experience when I purchase stuff using Tokopedia, especially from the official stores. Therefore I never contacted their customer service before.

Recently I bought their new product i.e. discounted voucher. They stated in the app that the voucher can be redeemed in several store locations, including their online store. However, when I tried to redeem the voucher online, it failed. I tried to redeem in tokopedia and the brand's site itself, but nothing worked.

It was very difficult to find customer service's point of contact in their app. As if it was not enough, they did not acknowledge their mistake in the product description and they did not take any responsibility, although I have sent screenshots as proof and waited for hours because I had to go back and forth with the customer service. My voucher was unusable and they did not refund my money. Both their service and business partner are sucks.
