I am very disappointed with both Tommee…

I am very disappointed with both Tommee Tippee and Baby Bunting regarding the handling of a faulty Tommee Tippee Supersteam Electric Steam Steriliser.

The unit was purchased from Baby Bunting Hoppers Crossing in July 2024 and was used exactly as intended. It was regularly cleaned, descaled, stored indoors, and very well looked after. After less than two years of use, the steriliser developed an electrical fault and began tripping the safety switch in my home every time it was turned on, making it completely unusable.

When I contacted Tommee Tippee for support, I was asked to provide numerous photos, answer multiple technical questions, and spend considerable time troubleshooting the issue. After all of that, the only resolution offered was a discount code to purchase another product.

I was then advised that because the retailer’s warranty had expired, there was little that could be done, despite Tommee Tippee’s own warranty information stating that products are covered for two years from the date of purchase.

All other appliances in my home work perfectly fine, and the issue was isolated to this steriliser. The product showed no signs of misuse or damage and had been maintained according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.

This does not reflect the level of customer service I would expect from a brand that promotes itself as “Parent Care,” nor the level of support I would expect from a major baby retailer such as Baby Bunting.

Parents deserve better support when a product develops an electrical fault within the advertised warranty period. Based on my experience, I would not recommend either the product or the after-sales service provided.

I can only apologise that you feel unsupported by the process you have been asked to follow after your steriliser developed a fault.
While it is true that we offer two years of warranty, this does only apply to products purchased directly from ourselves. 
We will however, always try to help parents and caregivers as much as we can with items purchased elsewhere - which is why we carry out an in-depth troubleshooting process to see if there is anything we can do. 
It is unfortunate that the problem has occurred outside of your warranty with Baby Bunting as well as a timeframe that we could potentially support further. 
While we are limited in how we can assist, we can see that our Parentcare Specialists has offered you a gesture to try and support you as best as we can, and can only apologise if this didn't meet your expectations.

If there is anything you need in the future, I do hope you will consider reaching out to us again.

Disappointed

Disappointed. During summer days the machine gets itself too hot whilst dispensing the first warm shot of water, meaning the internal safety setting prevents the dispensing of the required cold water shot, rendering the entire feed unusable. Tried swapping the tray water and ensuring it was cool water.

Wouldn't recommend.

Attempted to contact the company as per their reply. Initially spoke with AI, re-explaining the issue. Stated would hand me over to a customer service agent. Hung around for 30 mins, no one came on line. Again, disappointing!

I reached out to see what support I could get as I have a baby on the way and am experiencing extreme financial hardship at the moment. I was in touch with Kelly, and from the moment the interaction started she was nothing but supportive, understanding, kind and generous. This company and Kelly herself did not need to help me here but went out of their way to do so, proving the true meaning of community and the village needed to raise our young ones.

Pacifier packaging

I ordered this specific pacifier in amazon even it took almost 2 weeks to come. I was so disappointed because the packaging is not up to a level for baby’s hygiene. It’s not fully sealed, it looks like anyone can make use of it or can mishandle the product.

Dog chewed part

It was difficult to find their number to call. But once I found it, the service and help was absolutely fantastic 10/10 was easy to get the part replaced and back working again (dog chewed a part)

Trainer straw cup issues

Had an issue with a bottle and got in touch via the website chat. Was put onto a customer service rep very quickly. Kelly was a wonderful help sorting things out and organising a replacement.
