Never use admiral law. The whole company has been terrible start to finish. Do yourself a favour and go with an independent solicitor. Months and months of no contact from them. Nearly five years of my life waiting on them.

Admiral Law are simply diabolical.
I had a car accident I was not liable for in March 2022 and with the Government sliding scale, I am due compensation of around £1,200. I have not received payment, they never read/answer portal messages, they never reply to you & after almost 5 years of trying to get my pay-out we still are nowhere near completion. I once complained 2 years ago and they apologised, giving to me £300 compensation by-way of an apology, along with a commitment to oversee the case and ensure it moves along. For about 2-weeks I had a raft of new forms to sign, including a court extension letter as the case had taken so long, the claim was due to be time-barred. I have now complained to them 4 times about service and each time they respond promptly, the case feels it moves along briefly and then complete silence. As of now my messages within the online portal you must communicate by have been unread for 6 weeks. I have escalated to the ombudsman who has a 5-month wait window, which leaves me feeling helpless, uncared for and entirely unimportant - clearly, as Admiral Law are only due to receive £250 (25% of your entire pay-out) the case really doesn't matter & as they've paid out more than they will earn in compensation, it feels they would rather just allow the claim to become time barred and leave me without my entitlement. The service is grossly unfair, distressing and humiliating. I now feel it is appropriate to tell everyone DO NOT USE ADMIRAL LAW

Terrible service, non fault claim up for 2 years and 3 months where other driver admitted fault immediately. I have to call every 3 months for an update every time I am assured someone will call back within 5 days and this has never once happened. Case has been at submitting claim for offer for over 18 months and has still not been done, 2x case handlers changed a logged complaint with manager follow up with more assurances none of them actioned. My advice is to use a different service if you are insured with Admiral. I am now having to independently source a new solicitor to take over the case.

My overall experience with Admiral has been poor with a simple claim taking 5 years to resolve.

During the last year my claim was taken over by Amy Burridge of the litigation department. Since this point the service has been excellent. Throughout delays outside of Admirals control Amy has kept me up to date, explained all issues and communicated really well at every stage. She has expedited the process wherever possible and kept me up to date throughout. Amy is not only professional she is polite and kind enough to explain the process and delays and also empathetic as the whole process has been frustrating. Amy is an asset and a credit to Admiral and I only wish she had of been assigned to my case earlier. Amy responds to the message centre swiftly and has always followed up with any commitments made in a timely manner. Couldn’t fault the service received since litigation team took over as case handlers.

Admiral Law, is separate from Admiral insurance. Had a non fault collision, where a foreign registered HGV and overseas driver drove across the back of my vehicle on a roundabout, it was an economic write-off. I had a willing 3rd party witness and thank goodness I did. The claim had to be handled by an international claim handler, there was limited contact from the company the HGV belonged to and until late in the day the 3rd party did not provide an account. Up until this point I was potentially facing a split liability decision even with my dash cam footage. Fortunately the 3rd party witness sent in their account and the company settled on a without prejudice something or other basically they paid out but wouldn’t accept or confirm liability. The claim handler from AL kept in regular contact which was good. I wouldn’t say there was much enthusiasm behind it just that I was one of many on a conveyor belt of jobs and I felt the need to clarify updates and outcomes as they weren’t really explained very well. It was a good outcome but felt I had to keep on it to ensure they didn’t settle on the path of least resistance.
