Great for the weight, so I’m told
I bought the efoldi wheelchair about 18 months ago and, to be perfectly honest, the only thing it has going for it is the weight. It’s easy for helpers to get it in and out of the car.
As an amputee I find myself worrying if it’s going to tip backwards when going over the ‘speed bump’ type ramps built for disabled people to go over, the one I’m actually thinking of is on a hospital car park which is there for the disabled to use. I usually have to ask for anyone accompanying me to walk behind me ‘just in case’, I have no problem with these particular ramps in my self-propelled chair which seems far more stable.
The next observation are the front wheels, start away on a speed other than slow and the chair is wobbling from side to side until the wheels have ‘calmed down’ and then they’re pointing in the right direction to allow me to quicken the speed and go in the direction I wish to go in. I usually give anyone standing close instructions to mind their toes.My husband always rolled his eyes at me when I complained about this odd quirk in the machine but on having hurt his leg a few weeks ago and used, it he now agrees with me after uttering ‘it a wonder you haven’t killed yourself’.
Now for the batteries, they are great as long as there are no hills to climb, as are most electric chairs. On visiting an outdoor museum recently , they held up well going round. The warning lights were on green, for about 5 minutes travel they went to dual yellow, went to go up a short incline of about 8feet and it cut out. My husband had to park me in the chair out of the way while he changed the battery. The battery is actually underneath the seat,at back, which is impossible for anyone who can’t stand upright and bend to replace …… which makes the tv advert about having the freedom to do as you like somewhat misleading.
To sum up great for the weight but that’s about it.

Efoldi. Brilliant!!
I bought my Efoldi Explorer in May. I have had a mobility scooter since 2016. It weighed 54 kgs. Although it split into 4 parts it was becoming more difficult for my wife and I to handle. My Efoldi is so easy much easier. Only 19 kgs or 17 kgs without the battery. I'm taking it to Majorca this Thursday for 2 weeks. It will be so much easier at the airport. The only downside is the seat and seat back. It's not very comfortable on a longer journey. The cushion you can buy from Efoldi is a MUST!! Enjoy if you buy one.
Life Changer!
E-Foldi is absolutely incredible and made my Mum's (and my) life so much easier. Due to a heart condition my Mum can only walk a few steps, so walks and getting around the shops aren't possible. In the past, we've had a traditional mobility scooter rented for Her, but it was so heavy to load and was taking most of the space in our car. The battery wasn't that good either - heavy and didn't last very long. But then the e-Foldi came into the scene. It is super light, compatible and the battery lasts forever (and is easy to take out). I can load it to the boot of our small car (Renault Modus) and there is still a space☺️ E-Foldi is brilliant on all types of surfaces and allowed my Mum to go to places she's not dreamt about. It's fast, easy to manoeuvre, narrow enough to fit into a single door frame and takes seconds to unfold/fold. It also has a full set of lights and a handy backpack. I would absolutely recommend the scooter to everyone needing mobility support - it will not let you down, no matter if you're using it in your garden, park or off-road on rough terrain.

Useful maintenance service
Efoldi has changed my life. Since getting a chronic illness a few years ago that affected my ability to walk long distances, the efoldi lite has changed my life. I’ve had it for over two years now and was able to get it fixed today at their workshop in Redhill Surrey. I called the company and Monday and got it fixed on Tuesday.
You’ll note their products and repair services aren’t cheap. But that’s because you’re paying for quality. And also an onshore company that’s able to repair.

Great product and excellent customer service
Every time I’ve needed to contact Efoldi, whether on the phone, via email or Facebook, they’ve always been really helpful and friendly. Recently a problem arose with my Explorer - I rang Efoldi on the Wednesday, a very sturdy box and good quality memory foam padding arrived by courier the next day, they arranged for a courier to pick it up on the Friday and only a week later my Explorer was back with me all mended and all for a good price!
Thank you to all at Efoldi - The Explorer has made me feel like I can live again (I can go almost anywhere on it and even local teenagers have declared it as ‘cool’!), and Efoldi's excellent customer service has reassured me that there are good companies in existence!

Too expensive
Nice, but way overpriced compared to other makes. A similar machine with proven quality and reliability can be bought for a thousand pounds less than eFOLDI are charging. Also replacement batteries are to expensive. I think eFOLDI have tried to be too modern with their battery tech when it isn't really needed. I actually managed to buy a very similar machine, brand new, for under £1000. Battery cost £40 to replace compared to hundreds of pounds for the eFOLDI.

Brilliant product and company
Brilliant product and company. Had a problem with front tyre, brake and loose connection as I live near them dropped it over and within 30 had fixed the above including fitting new knobbly tyre all for a very modest sum. Great friendly customer service. Well done everyone involved. Thanks to all involved. Couldn’t recommend more.

EFoldi Management Excellent
After purchasing an EFoldi from London Mobility I had no end of problems. When EFoldi Management eventually got to hear of this, it appears that there was a breakdown in communication between the two, and the manufacturer stepped in to help. They could not have done more. Eventually the machine was refunded, and having bought a new one, it is brilliant. I am so pleased with it, and this would not have happened without their involvement. That I have chosen to have another one speaks volumes for the design and versatility of the scooter. Thanks!

eFoldi for a scooter recommended
Since contacting eFoldi for a scooter, it has been such a good experience. I was help all through the purchasing process. I have been help look after from the start. When I had a problem with the scooter I contacted eFoldi, within a short time oroblem resolved.
Making eFoldi an excellent company. There customer service is faultless. Angela in customer service is very professional, patient and helpful.

Great product and fantastic customer service
I bought an efoldi lite for my daughter and it has enabled her to get out and about so much more now. It is easy for me to lift in and out of the car and also to put up and down. It developed a fault when on holiday and eFoldi arranged collection to have it looked at. It was quickly returned fully working. Great customer service and a great product. Life changing for my daughter.

Lovely little scooter and great customer experience
I purchase the eFoldi Lite about 6 months ago and have nothing but praise for the scooter. I purchased for my aging mother but was unsure if an eFoldi or any mobility scooter would be right for her. So glad we had a home demonstration first as it quickly became apparent during our search for a compact folding scooter that there is no magic one size fits all solution. I would not recommend anyone buy any scooter without having a full demo first. The home demo put mine and my mothers mums minds at rest and covered all concerns. Even after delivery eFoldi were very helpful when we followed up with support calls. So far so good. Mother now visits all the country gardens and garden centres she was unable to before. She does not consider herself “Old” and was reluctant to go down the path with a mobility scooter (please pardon the pun). Now we can easily pop it into the boot of our car and take her to all the places she loves. She’s off on a cruise with it next month with her friends. Expecting loads of photos of her gliding up and down the promenade. Thank you eFoldi

Amazing!
Don’t think!! Just buy one..
My mothers outlook on the outside world has changed since purchasing the e foldi light.
My one thing to say is please buy direct from them if possible for you to do so.
We have taken the machine to Greece a few times now which has been a life saver for us and mum.
I would like to especially thank Mel for his outstanding customer service ethic and also calling me whilst away in Greece when I had an issue.
He really is a credit to your companyl.

Opening up my world
We're just finishing a river cruise down the Danube. My Efoldi Lite has surpassed my expectations. The bavarian villages have old, very worn and bumpy, cobblestones. I have been up steep inclines and down! On an off tourist trains, buses, coaches not to mention 3 flights each way.
My EFoldi had opened up my world. Thank you EFoldi.
Ps. If I need anything from advice to spare parts Mel and Co have been fantastic.

5 years and still going strong
After trying every scooter on the market, the eFoldi was the one for me.
I’ve done many miles on it walking the dog, shopping, out with the grandchildren and taking abroad to Canada, Madeira and many other adventures. The staff at eFoldi have always been friendly and helpful whenever I’ve needed any help.

Perfect
A great scooter, easy to assemble and fits perfectly in the boot of the car without have to break into pieces as a boot scooter. I visited the O2 recently and the scooter had many admirers, the team at the O2 said its the coolest they had ever seen. The best thing is not being treated as someone elderly unlike the traditional burgundy mobility scooters, on this scooter I have a voice.

Serendipity in a seat...
This device has given me a new lease of life. I'd given up all hopes of travelling because of my degenerating mobility disability but I'm better than ever.
My kids now hold my hand as I cruise along at their speedy pace!

Reversing when wanting to go forward!
I've had my efoldi electric wheelchair for just over a year and on the whole it has been good as lightweight for my husband to lift in and out of the car. However, the other day when I switched it on it went straight in to reverse with the reverse warning noise. The shop I purchased it from cannot ascertain why it is doing this and I now have it back as at the moment it is working ok but it has made me lose confidence as to when it might happen again. My only other concerns are navigating hills which it doesn't always like and when it does run out of charge and I have to be pushed it is much harder to push than a regular wheelchair.

Getting my life back !
I’ve had my efoldi for 3+ years and my mobility is very restricted. As I’d previously been extremely active I found this very frustrating. My efoldi means I can carry out my hobbies once again, visiting National Trust properties, wildlife photography, sports photography, accompanying my 11 year old granddaughter on various sporting and cultural activities. My wife and family just love the freedom it gives us all.
