I want to express my frustration with this company, particularly in my dealings with Louise, the owner of Fountain Filters. Before placing my order, I called to confirm stock availability. Despite my insistence to double-check and avoid any post-payment stock issues, Louise assured me that the item was in stock. Unfortunately, after making the payment, my order was not delivered, and I had to contact them to find out what happened. The explanation was that the post was lost, conveniently after the fact.

Upon seeing Louise's response to my review, I was taken aback by the lack of apology and the apparent personal tone. The owner's aggressive tone left me with the impression that there might be a need for a manager to handle customer relations. Rather than addressing the issue straightforwardly, Louise's response seemed to twist facts and claim to feel threatened.

In my opinion, an aggressive company owner does not bode well for customer relations. It would be beneficial for the company to consider hiring a manager to handle these matters professionally. Louise spent time crafting a detailed response to my review, but if that effort were directed toward improving business practices, the company might receive more positive feedback.

I feel compelled to leave a Trustpilot review and possibly create a YouTube video to share my experience. As a company owner, extending a sincere apology and adopting a less aggressive approach could go a long way. Had they been more transparent about stock availability from the beginning, there would be no need for a negative review. Ultimately, focusing on business improvement rather than attacking a reviewer should be a priority.

It's worth noting that despite Louise's attempts to have my review taken down, I have stood by the accuracy of my account of events, and my review remains visible. This further underscores the need for the company to address customer concerns rather than attempting to suppress honest feedback.

I find it concerning that my feedback has resulted in a personal attack rather than a constructive dialogue. As a consumer, I believe it's my right to express my experiences, both positive and negative, to contribute to the improvement of products and services.

While I understand that negative feedback can be disheartening, it's crucial for businesses to approach it with a mindset of continuous improvement. Resorting to name-calling and blacklisting customers may not be the most constructive way to handle criticism.

Great choices on offer, able to build a filter system to suit our needs and our sink setup . Now it’s in place it looks good and the water tastes great .

Great product, simple to install including hints on common installation challenges which I did have and overcame instantly because of the care taken by the seller. Whole of house now has soft water without a noticeable drop in pressure. Has made a massive difference throughout.

The service and knowledge is great , they’re always a friendly person to chat with and lots of good advice so you can make sure you get the right filter for you . Would not go anywhere else, also love the fact it’s a family run business it shows !

Fountain filters are a wonderully supportive team - when our cat got into the cupboard and chewed through our hoses they sent all the parts and helped me technically with what turned out to be an ‘interesting’ connection to our tap. I couldn’t ask for better customer service and have always loved our filtered water.

I have a water filter system recommended and supplied a few years ago by FF. I always phone them when I need a replacement cartridge because they can easily access my details and despatch the goods immediately. They are very knowledgeable and always a pleasure to deal with.

Great advice from people that clearly know their products. Prompt and accurate and the products are well manufactured and well packaged

Always brought my filters here,with a great price and a fantastic service.Even when one of the filters got damaged during delivery a replacement was sent as soon is it was mentioned without hesitation.

A small but vital item required, an O ring. There were three different sizes and shapes but after my miss-ordering the wrong seals Lou replaced them immediately with the correct ones. Excellent service and care. Highly recommended. Derek Kersey
