I understand where you are coming from. One of the strengths of our cover is that it is modular, so you can remove certain optional sections if they are not relevant to your trip. In your case, the section you are referring to is the Legal Expenses and Rental Vehicle Excess optional module. This is available on Plus and Elite cover and includes things like legal costs following a travel-related incident, and rental vehicle excess cover.
It is worth being upfront though. Removing this module does not always reduce the premium by a large amount. Benefits like legal expenses and rental excess are generally lower risk compared to areas like medical expenses and cancellation, which tend to drive most of the cost of a policy.
If you ever want help tailoring cover more closely to a specific trip, our team is always happy to talk through the options and explain what impact changes will or will not have on pricing.

I decided to use Go Insurance as I have used the company previously and when I had to claim it was easy. As I'm going on three trips in the next twelve months it was decided that an annual multi trip plan would be better. As there is cruising in the mix it wasn't as straight forward as a single trip so there were many discussions with the Travel Agent
