Gunstar Avis

I made the mistake of entering my add in the wrong section. After sending an email asking for my mistake to be rectified it was actioned promptly and efficiently .

Easy to place add, submitted add on Friday and gun sold and picked up on Sunday.

It's the first time I've sold an air rifle .They helped me put the ad in. I finished at 2.30 and by 2.30 the next day it was collected paid for & gone. Simple and for the price I paid Gunstar for the ad It was a no brainer. Thanks Gunstar

It serves its job well, and is helpful for finding various gun types for sale whether they be live, deactivated, or replicas.

Searching for listings is smooth enough in fetching relevant results when I'm searching with either keywords or item categories.

I've put things up for sale before, and both the listing builder and user messenger function fine.

The listing fees seem to be more than on competitor sites like Guntrader, but I've noticed the occasional coupon email sent my way to bump down the price.

I once needed help on a listing/payment discrepancy which was fortunately fixed by support, rather quickly.

What I'd like to see on Gunstar are more detailed describers in the listing builder as the current state of some categories are quite broad, such as airsoft guns being bunched in with air guns.

The other suggestion is for users to be able to block (at least standard-tier) listings from particular retailers/businesses as I tend to find the same retailers' entire stock showing up in my results when I am browsing various item categories.

I wasn’t with Gunstar for long’ But I could see their the best Guy’s In the business.
Thank You Guy’s. David.

Tried to cancel my advert on website page would not work using guidance on the site. Tried ringing to cancel just rang out for ages gave up. Went on ibot help and recieved e- mail saying don’t have an account with that e-mail. I just don’t want to extend my advert and be charged for the privatise !

For a very long time I've been searching for an AK-47 deact. my brother told me he'd been looking as well but no one replied. I complained to the company and they said they were sorry about it. I much later decided to investigate and found that 11 of them were from a person in Eastbourne that did not reply to emails. The telephone number I found did not exist. I told GunStar about this and they said they would deal with it. I can only believe that they're taking money from a person account who has not been trading for two years. Or leaving the adverts there in order to attract customers to look at other guns as
these listed do not exist.

Helpful in my enquiries.

I sold my item some time back but gunstar keep taking money from my account each month without my
authority. For gods sake don’t give there crooks your bank details!!!

Good clear information on selling the item

Have used Gunstar on numerous occasions and have been pleased with the results. Had a slight issue with an ad. but spoke with Ajmal on the telephone who dealt with the problem quickly and efficiently. Always found them good to deal with and their costs are, I think, quite reasonable.

Got in touch and got some good advice, and will take it onboard thanks

Placed two adverts, not a single enquiry. Complete waste of money

I’ve used the Gunstar platform several times now , always with success. The odd issue has always been promptly and satisfactorily resolved , and I be using this excellent site again

Every month they take money out my account without consent so I have to contact them to refund it don’t give this site your bank details

Tracey from Leicester gun shop suggested I sell my rifle privately...its the first time I've tried this but Gunstar was on my Google search at the time..it was very easy to place the ad....pics were added and I had an enquiry within a couple of hours...I communicated with the potential buyer, we agreed a price and he came over 24 hours later with the cash.....we were both happy with the deal....the first time but not the last time I'll use Gunstar.

Hi. Thanks for your prompt action in reimbursing the extra payment I made by mistake in boosting my ad. I now look forward to selling my rifle and buying the next one.
Regards. David Le Blond.

I am retired and decided to try and sell perhaps three of my air rifles and through you placing my adds have managed to sell two.The second one today. I have placed a third one today. So fingers crossed. In these times of being hard one has to be realistic with the price one is asking which I have tried to do.
Thank you all.

I have been charged for renewing a ad that had already been sold
