I haven't been to a hair salon in a decade, really wanted to treat myself. Went to headmasters and what a fabulous experience I had ,I was treated like a queen from start to finish. Iv already booked my next appointment for September, would recommend them to all my family and friends 🧡 absolutely amazing, lovely atmosphere and lovely staff ❤️

I'm extramelly disappointed with my recent experience. I booked my appointment in 2 weeks advance for cut and color - it meant to be a treat for my birthday and it had been cancelled without offering an alternative solution... due to their short of staff and color sale. While I understand unexpected staff changes can happen, this felt unprofesional without offering an alteranitve solution...

I have been going to Kim in Headmasters Teddington for a few years now. He knows my hair and always gives me an expert cut, I always get compliments about how my hair looks afterwards. Thanks Kim - 10 out of 10!

I’ve been coming to this Salon for decades now and the girls here consistently deliver a great experience and beautiful results. During my most recent visit the lovely Skye gave me half a head of highlights with a toner, cut and blow dry. She also curled my hair which showed off the new highlights perfectly so I left the salon looking and feeling like a million dollars. Great Job Skye I love it! Thankyou! 🫶🏻

I have sent two emails about an error I made in ordering the voucher, I have had no response from Headmasters, I find that to be very rude and bad business practices.

As always a well deserved 5 star review. Starting with myself having to move appointments round for various reasons via the phone, I received all the assistance I needed, all done in a warm but professional manner.
I then went to my appointment with the beautiful Jodie. She has such a wonderfully happy air around her. I have used Jodie in the past so I knew what to expect and was not disappointed because as usual her knowledge, her skills, her product knowledge all wrapped up in a huge professional bow . We did the usual chat through options as normal, I just have colour but last time I added highlights which myself with Jodies input decided to re do also. Whilst waiting for my colour to do it's thing, the girls that day seemed never to even have time to take a break but they dealt with each customer with full attention. Jodie finished my hair with a beautiful blow dry straight for me and even though they were obviously very very busy she offered if I wanted her to go over my hair with straighteners which I kindly declined because I was so thrilled with everything she had done. This salon is particularly amazing, I've been going for years and 2 of my most favourite stylists are Jodie & Guaya and that's because I've had the pleasure of them working on my hair. Thank you Jodie, amazing as always and you know I'll be back ❤️ 💙 ♥️

I think a 30 minute wash and trim costing £102 is way too expensive

They have very good customer service and well trained to get money from you, they don’t know anything about hair.

Went in for a haircut that was absolutely shockingly bad. Emailed head office with pictures. They apologised and offered to rectify it.. two weeks later I’m still chasing them up for an appointment all the while walking around with a disastrous haircut. Emails are ignored, when the replies do come, they are generic and seemingly trying to frustrate customers on purpose. 2 stars for the hair stylist, zero stars for customer service.
It might be worth adding that this hairdressers can only manage thin, European hair. They try to make their models “diverse” but the stylist had no clue what he was doing. Devastated by this whole experience.

Great first experience with Cara in Sutton. Would recommend.

I called and got the appointment on the same day.
I was booked by Amber and also she styled both my daughter’s and my hair!
We were both absolutely happy.
I think Amber is very skilled and has great communication skills. She is also extremely kind and as a result the whole experince went extremely well.
We were also looked after by other personel,treated with hot and cold drinks and busicits. I love the cleanliness of the whole salon and toilet particularly where there are always clean flannels!
We will definitely come again and look for Amber!

I took my Autistic son for a haircut. He asked for a low taper fade and was given a high unblended grade zero by a man named Greg Leonard. I had popped out for a coffee, and when I came back, I was shocked. He tried to blame my son and said, "I bet this will be an interesting conversation at dinner." He seemed to enjoy inflicting this on a 14-year-old Autistic child. The man should not be allowed near children's hair again.

Headmasters online booking system is one of the worst time wasting systems ever.
You think you have a confirmed booking but upon arrival at the salon, no.
I stopped using the online system but am currently overseas and just tried to make an appointment for my return. Hopeless.
Trying to select your preferred stylist at the times shown as available is next to impossible….and adding a Finishing blow dry - expect to input and delete, input again etc.
Why Headmasters don’t invest in fixing what they are fully aware is a problem booking site is beyond me.
They have however, invested in adding a cancellation payment to the site.
Use the online booking system at your peril.

Very friendly, the only time I have been truly happy with my hair colour and style. Megan in the Woking salon was very easy to talk to, she completely understood what I wanted. I was so happy with the entire experience.

I’ve been going to Headmasters Weybridge for over a decade, it’s a great salon with lovely people. Alana is a hair magician and makes my hair look fantastic! Colour matching for grown out roots can be difficult but she is an expert and does a fantastic job.

My experience at Headmasters was great! Katrina always goes the extra mile with my colour & cut and don’t know how but she always makes me look the best version of myself!
Katrina always gives great advice too whether on cut or colour & I always come out of the salon feeling great! Thank you Katrina!

HEADMASTERS EAST SHEEN: A FABULOUS HAIR SALON
Headmasters East Sheen is one terrific salon. Wonderful, friendly, knowlegeable professionals from the top management to the young apprentices, you will receive a warm welcome and terrific service.
The salon is immaculate and in a sunny position so it is welcoming and cheerful even on a grim winter's day.
I love the care and attention that is given to my hair, the good advice, the beautiful colour and excellent cut from Louise that lasts really well until the next appointment.
Remember: Headmasters is a franchise, so not all branches offer this level of service. But at the East Sheen branch, even though it is quite a way for me to get there, it is worth the effort every time. Thank you Louise and your amazing team!

I have been a regular customer of Headmasters, both in Harrow and Reading, and have generally had satisfactory experiences in the past. However, my recent visit to the Reading salon was deeply disappointing and has led me to decide not to return.

I had booked an appointment for my 2-year-old son’s first haircut — a special and somewhat delicate moment for any parent. We arrived five minutes late, and the stylist, Lucy, made a point of saying, "You are late though." I asked if that was an issue, and she said "no," but still felt the need to emphasize it. I found this unnecessary, especially considering I’ve often waited patiently in the past when they were running behind schedule without ever complaining.

Additionally, I had clearly mentioned while booking that both my husband and I would be present, as our son is quite active and needs both of us to help calm and distract him during the haircut. Despite this, another staff member asked one of us to leave, citing that the salon was crowded. This felt inconsiderate and dismissive, particularly for a young child’s very first haircut.

Given the lack of empathy, inflexibility, and the generally unwelcoming attitude during our visit, I requested all future appointments be cancelled. I will not be returning, and I will not recommend Headmasters to friends or family.

Headmasters needs to show more understanding and warmth, especially when dealing with young children and their parents. First haircuts should be memorable for the right reasons — not for being made to feel unwelcome and judged.
