My experience at Headmasters has remained wonderful over the years. Sian is such an amazing hairdresser. I give Headmasters 100 out of 10. Excellent!!

Katie was extremely personable and I felt at ease with her. She cut my hair in a style that I had requested, checking whether I was happy with the length etc as she went. I will certainly be returning.

Victoria branch. Hairdresser had bad attitude and was negative, abrupt, and extremely unhelpful. Just awful. I got up and left and did not have my hair done in the end. I Complained to the branch via head office and they didn’t even apologise. Headmasters Head office were really great though and found me another salon and hairdresser who have been amazing. Needless to say I won’t be returning to the Victoria branch.

Been going to Headmasters Harrow for the past year and always come away feeling amazing ! Jessica has cut my hair regularly and she always does a great job , never rushed and pays so much attention to what you say . Even my hair wash by Sam was wonderful! Great atmosphere in the salon , all the staff are friendly- it’s great to feel confident in your hairdresser .

I have been going to the salon in Lordship Lane,East Dulwich every five to six weeks for about three years - Lol my hairdresser is excellent - she is always friendly & polite & I have always been very pleased with how she cuts my hair.

My appointment was late by 40 min despite of having been told on arrival that they were running late by 10 min. Only when I was about to be treated I was only offered water as their coffee machine broke the day after. I understand that I can’t take coffee for granted at a hair salon, but having known that it was going to take so long I could have grab a coffee run for all on the time I was waiting. Despite of this, my stylist was very professional and accurate. I will go again but I would much rather be inform beforehand or on arrival about their late running schedule. Thankyou

Sadly after many years and some great results i will not be returning to Headmasters. I had colour and cut Sunday 23rd. Both very disappointing. Haircut took 10 minutes. Colour the worst ever. I understand that mistakes are made and misunderstandings.My stylist did not call me back. I called and asked to speak to the manager he was only available by appointment which i made when i tried to reschedule i realised i couldn't go in there to discuss what i was not happy with. The attitude was unpleasant and unhelpful It is very disappointing when a lovely visit to the hairdresser does not go well and complaining is hard, however being rude to a client that has not received what they paid for is unprofessional . The rudeness and attitude of the salon has made sure i will not return.

the one star rating is based on the online booking system which is awful,, not user friendly , very hard to use to had to call to book instead.. The booking page should be made larger and easy to use! one of the worst booking systems ive come across

I've been at the Woking salon. Denise was my hairdresser.
I was honest with her and I told her I've had few bad experience in colouring and cutting in the past few years .
We have discussed what I would and what she recommend.
She explained every step what she was doing. I felt she care about my hair and I can trust her.
When she finished with all the colouring cutting , blow drying ..etc the result was absolutely fantastic. I love the colour, style, the beachy waves.
So, I can not say thank you enough to Denise. She is really great, professional, friendly.

I am incredibly disappointed with the service I received at Headmasters Wandsworth on Wednesday at 17:15. I don’t recall the name of the stylist. The full appointment took less than 30 minutes for the stylist to wash, cut, blow dry and style my hair. I have thin/fine hair so my appointments don’t typically take very long. However, other stylists have taken at least 45 minutes to blunt cut my hair to one length.

At this appointment, I requested for soft layers, including face framing layers. The hair washing experience was okay but it felt rushed and did not include the usual head massaging. Once washed, the stylist ran a brush through my hair whilst still in the basin. My hair gets tangled very easily and so this was incredibly painful as she ripped through my hair from the root to tip. Surely stylists know that tangled hair should be brushed from bottom, slowly working upwards to avoid breakage! Surely stylists would handle fine/thin hair with extra care!!!!!

Once in the chair, she cut off my length in sections which was great. Then in order to do layers she pulled the entire top layer of my hair into one section and blunt cut. I am no expert but my understanding is that layering needs to be cut in small sections, with angles or points to ensure a blended soft look. Perhaps because my hair is so thin, she felt it was acceptable to take a shortcut or that I didn’t deserve to have my layers cut in smaller sections.

To create my face frame she basically cut a fringe at a level she asked me to suggest. There is absolutely nothing soft, blended or face framing about it.

She then started blow drying my hair by pushing it in every direction which made me feel like I was standing in a wind storm. She gave me a magazine to read but I couldn’t even read it because she was blowing hair into my face.

She then changed her technique and blow dried my hair into a wavy style using a round brush. Once done, she gave me three seconds to look at the back of my hair before ushering me out the door.

She didn’t go back to assess her cut and make changes once the hair was dry and she didn’t ask me if I was happy with the cut.

Obviously on the day, I felt happy with my hair because she had styled it so it looked nice. By the next day, I could tell that it was not looking or sitting right.

I have ended up with a choppy unblended cut. It looks like a cut you would give a child who doesn’t particularly care for their hairstyle. It is honestly appalling that such a well known franchise can provide such a poor quality service. I am actually flawed.

If my haircut was decent at all, I would have said nothing about her rushed overall service. However, the fact that my entire appointment took about 30 minutes, was stressful more than relaxing and I am left with a choppy cut is absolutely appalling.

I had a wonderful experience at Headmasters in Orpington High Street. Mia was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about all the hair products I was interested in. She patiently explained the best options for my hair needs, and thanks to her guidance, I decided to purchase the Kerastase shampoo, which I’m very happy with. Mia is a true asset to Headmasters, her kindness and genuine desire to help made my visit memorable. I would definitely recommend Headmasters, particularly the Orpington High Street branch, to my family and friends.

Flavio cut my hair. Been to 4 salons in Guildford and this is the best cut ever. So pleased with it. Looks great and easy to manage. He listened to what I needed and gave his suggestions. I suggested shorter but he was right. Honestly I am so pleased and happy with his haircut. Can’t recommend him too highly.
