We went to see James about a VW camper van. He was very knowledgeable and Helpful. We had a last look at the one we thought we liked and bought it the next day. It was an easy and efficient process and it was our first camper and we had many questions. James was extremely patient and helped us make the right choice. We love our new camper and cant wait to get out as much as possible. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and if I had any questions James was always on the end of the phone. Highly recommend. Having made the decision to buy a VW Campervan, we visited John Charles motors on a couple of occasions to see what they had got. James spent a lot of time with us, answering our many questions and providing really sound advice about how we could determine what was really important to us; not exactly what we initially thought. As a result James was able to find a van that is perfect for us and we can’t thank him enough. Andy took plenty of time to show us how everything worked, which helped us a great deal. We feel they wanted to ensure we would be happy with our decisions and they continue to touch base with us to check how things are going. The level of customer service has been excellent. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking for a camper or motorhome.

We upgraded from our kit-converted Transit to an Autosleeper Fairford from John Charles and the process has been pleasant and hassle free.
A couple of minor cosmetic jobs to be done when a part arrives from AS, and I'm confident that will go to plan.
After our house this is the highest value item we have bought, so jeopardy and anxiety were around the corner. But we needn't have worried. Professional and relaxed at the same time - no wonder they are always busy.

We just bought our first ever motorhome from John Charles and have to say that it was a great experience. James has been really helpful and easy to deal with from start to finish. No pressure on the first visit, He just handed us the keys to look around the vehicle we were interested in. Once we decided he made everything happen with minimum of fuss answering all our (many questions) with patience and a sense of humour. Handover was really good with both Andy and James, and even since then they have patiently dealt with all the many questions that we continue to raise. A great place to deal with!

Would not buy a Motorhome front them again not good at all

I purchased my campervan from John Charles Motorhomes in March and couldn't be happier. Enquired twice about a transit custom that was due in, both times promised photos and videos as soon as it arrived so we could book an appointment. we had cash waiting to buy outright, now it’s been removed from website.

We were looking to exchange our current Motorhome for a smaller, more up to date model. Both James and Darren were really helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. They provided us with a Motorhome which suits our needs exactly.When we collected our new Motorhome it had been cleaned and valeted and looked immaculate. We would definitely recommend John Charles Motorhomes (in fact we have already pointed two of our friends to them).

We traveled a long way to purchase the motor home of our choice and were not disappointed. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable. The deal was struck in a friendly and non pressurised environment.
The administrative side left a little to be desired but this would not deter me recommending the dealership.

Fabulous Service. Following our decision to upgrade our old motorhome, we were given a very good trade in price against a newer van with higher spec. Unfortunately, during servicing a fault was found by the mechanics which required a part being sourced from Europe. This caused a long day in the actual handover, which was frustrating, but completely out of the hands of the dealership. James kept us updated and when the part finally arrived it was fitted quickly, allowing us to get away for a prebooked trip.
We have been very well looked after by James and the customer service has been exceptional. James has been in touch to check everything went well on our first trip out in the new motorhome and his way of doing business cannot be faulted. Thank you from very satisfied customers.

I have bought and sold with John Charles a few times and I have found James and Darren to be both honest and fair each time. They are extremely helpful and patient when I seek assistance through my own incompetence. Although I have had some minor issues with my vans James and Darren have gone out of their way to put them right promptly.

I bought a new campervan from this company late last year after having many discussions with the manager James Birkett, who was very knowledgable, and was more than happy to give guidance for this “new to campers man” as I wanted a new chapter in my life for exploration.
The van I chose was a beaut, and I must say full filled all its promise. I’d had a few niggles, some my own fault, but the efforts both James and his salesman, Darren Hilton have gone to to help me have been exemplary. A first rate after sales service, I feel, with a professional and friendly manner allows me to be keep in touch for regular advice, which is happily provided by both the team.

The warranty is the best in the North West and there mechanics and repair specialist’s are of the same excellent standards giving every customer that assurance needed to enable you to have that excellent motor home experience.

This was our first Motorhome. The advice and guidance from the John Charles team was excellent. The motorhome we chose was well presented fully serviced and checked with everything explained and demonstrated in detail at the handover. A couple of minor niggles were quickly sorted by the attentive and professional customer service team.
