We were disappointed when we collected our van
We were disappointed when we collected our new van, the previous owners food was still on the hob. The gas hob hadn’t been checked as one of the burners wouldn’t light when the sales man was showing us how it should work. The outside of the van was filthy, the cab still has rubbish in it from previous owners.
The air conditioning doesn’t work, quite disappointed.

I am sorry you have been disappointed by the collection of your new motorhome. I have tried to call you on a number of occasions today but have not been able to talk with you. All our motorhomes are valeted outside and inside before a comprehensive handover. I apologise if this was not up to our normal very high standards but would welcome a conversion regarding this when you are free.
All our motorhomes come with a full service. The issue with the burner was that the thermocouple had slightly moved and so would take quite a long time to stay on. I made a small adjustment that sorted the problem before you took the van away.
If you would like to give me a call regarding the above issues and getting the Air Con looked at.

Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Even through COVID restrictions and lockdown always felt James had a handle on things and customer service is clearly something they excel in. Great detail was shown in ensuring our motorhome left in perfect condition even where expense was on JC. Keep up the great work

Just bought my first Campervan
Just bought my first Campervan off James, built by Revolution Campers. It is awesome!. Every detail is well thought out. The service by James at John Charles was 100%. He spent an hour and a half showing me how to use everything. Very efficient and delighted with my purchase. Thanks James and I look forward to many trips in my new holiday home.

Excellent service provided by James at John Charles Caravans throughout the process of purchasing our new motorhome. From our initial viewing right through to handover, James was very professional, welcoming and friendly and kept us informed throughout in between. Excellent process from start to finish .... we were given lots of info when first viewing the campervan, all stages of buying were easy to follow and fully explained, and the workings of the campervan clearly explained on the day we picked it up. No part of this was ever confusing or difficult. Great staff. We would recommend the dealership to anyone considering buying a campervan or other vehicle.

Recieved excellent, friendly and knowledgable service when we purchased our motorhome from James. Much more so than some other larger local dealers.
Would thoroughly recomend them to anyone wishing to purchase a motorhome or campervan. Thanks for all your help. All we now have to do is explore!!!

Great firm to deal with
Great firm to deal with. Kept us updated about the accessories we wanted on our motorhome. James was excellent to deal with, and the van cleaning lady made a lovely job of the van and makes a great cup of tea.
Managed a few days out before we were advised to stay in enough to make us realise this van is an excellent downsize.
