Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. As a first time customer I was very disappointed with their lack of support or understanding and willingness to come to a mutual agreement on a mistake purchase . I would never shop with them when there are so many better nail company's with excellent customer service.

Faulty efile and curved cuticle scissors
I’ve just ordered a new efile from a different company after numerous faults with my own, the silver dial fell off within a month of purchasing, this didn’t effect the actual use of the efile so I let that one slide, then the wires kept breaking, I have had two sent out as a replacement within the first year and have since purchased another two myself as it continues to cut out power. I’ve also purchased a total of 3 curved cuticle scissors to which all three have snapped. After emailing the company I was told this was down to my own pressure using them. I have since learnt from other nail techs that both the efile and the scissors is an ongoing issue with this brand. I have purchased the magpie cuticle scissors and have been using them without any issues whatsoever.
Really disappointing when the company patronise nail techs about their incorrect use of the item yet reviews from others state the same ongoing issues.
A real shame for me as the drill bits and kink sanding bands I enjoy using but won’t be purchasing any more equipment or tools sadly.

Regarding the curved cuticle scissors, we want to reassure you that we do not place blame on nail techs. Our goal is always to provide guidance on correct usage, as these scissors function differently from nippers. Unlike nippers, which are more robust and bulky in the way these are held and used, our scissors have a delicate precision design and do not require significant hand pressure. To prevent metal fatigue, they should only be held on the reinforced area of the handle, rather than the thinner sections. We appreciate that this may take some adjustment for those used to working with nippers, which is why we always aim to provide clear usage advice.
With regard to your e-file concerns, we’re sorry for any issues you experienced. We always strive to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards and take all feedback seriously. We would love the opportunity to investigate this further to understand what went wrong in your case as if this was a fault with the E-file we would usually request this is sent back to us for investigation.
We truly appreciate that you have enjoyed using our drill bits and mini sanding bands, and while we’re disappointed to hear you won’t be purchasing more tools from us, we do value your honest feedback. If there’s anything we can do to support you further, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

The Katie Barnes gloves are the best I’ve ever had & I won’t use any others. Being able to have them on a subscription is so helpful too because as a busy nail tech it’s one thing I don’t have to think about. Customer service is also fab, they are always happy to help

As a busy nail tech
As a busy nail tech, protecting myself is so important & the Katie Barnes gloves are the best! I have them on subscription so they just come out to me automatically, one less thing to think about. I won’t go anywhere else for my gloves as there really is no comparison, anything else just feels thin & flimsy and doesn’t give the same level of protection as Katie’s gloves. On top of that, the customer service is fab, with Katie herself dealing with any queries you may have. Great products AND great service.

I love Katie Barnes tools
I love Katie Barnes tools. I bought the e-file with a full kit of bits. The efile is great and I’m very pleased w my choice. The customer service is amazing and it’s very supportive they always sort things out for me. The pedi kit is fantastic I can’t live without, the results are amazing and the cuticle scissors are my new fave tool. Love this brand
