I love Katie Barnes tools. I bought the e-file with a full kit of bits. The efile is great and I’m very pleased w my choice. The customer service is amazing and it’s very supportive they always sort things out for me. The pedi kit is fantastic I can’t live without, the results are amazing and the cuticle scissors are my new fave tool. Love this brand

Before purchasing these gloves I developed contact dermatitis on my hands. I thought I was going to have to give up nails. I gave these gloves a try and they are amazing, my hands haven’t broken out since using them. I would definitely recommend these gloves. Xx

KB are always releasing the most innovative and well thought out products, consistently high quality and great customer service as standard. It’s always a pleasure shopping with them. The website is so much more than just a shop as well, there is an abundance of knowledgeable articles that should be referred to regularly.

Great tools especially the e-file is a must have. E-file bits are top level quality, you can really see the difference between them and any cheap ones you can buy on other sites. Great price for the quality you get. Customer service is next to none.

I am very upset. I bought the drill bundle for over 400£ (on offer so should have been more) I emailed after very few uses that the drill was cutting power with no pressure. They sent me FOUR new wires so this is obviously a normal issue! I never write reviews but after lots of email attempts (the company have stopped replying to me) I am at a loss. I have an expensive drill sitting on my desk that I cannot use! I will be taking this further as I have had zero correspondence from these people since 4/9/24. Do not recommend buying this drill.

Honestly this company has the most incredible staff and owners. The customer service they provide is amazing. I’ve been using some of there tools and Efile pieces for a while now and they’re honestly the best I’ve used. Excellent quality and great value for money.

I chose to solely use KB tools after purchasing the curved cuticle scissors, and once I used them , there was no going back . They are Incredidle!!! I then purchased the Efile ... just WOW .... bits , tools etc . These products are a total game changer for me , my Business and my clients .
You just know that every single product KB makes , its made with such an amazing amount of knowledge and care . This is someone that really does know her profession and what we as Nail Techs need .

The customer service , communication, level of care, expertise etc is second to none.

I qualified in efile in 2021 and was using a brand and bits from a brand who I had positive reviews about. I was using them for around 2 years and although it was easier than hand filing I was still suffering from sore and painful wrists and my bits were struggling.

I found the Katie Barnes Tool Range around 6 months ago and it may sound dramatic but it's honestly changed my work life.

There is little to no vibration on the hand piece. My wrists are no long painful and I'm not having to fight the bits to remove and refine. The efile bits available are incredible. So much choice and something to suite every nail need.

I hated doing pedi's but now I am back doing them because the tools give such great results.

When I bought the efile I got the efile qualification course included, even though I'd already gained my certificate I decided to sit and do the course as a refresher and it's surprising how much I'd forgotten and learned again by doing the course. I've also now added other courses to refresh myself in acrylic, builder gel etc

My clients also rave about the tool range because the difference in my nails I produce now are on such a higher level.
I'm happier because I'm not left in so much pain and my clients are happy because I'm producing better results and they can see the difference.

Changing over to Katie's company has been the best thing I've ever done and now wouldn't use anything else.

FANTASTIC!!! I have been using kb efile bits for a year or so, as time goes on and Katie brings out more there is only a few things left I need to get!! My nail game has levelled up so much… products are very well designed not just to get through product but to help the user, i suffer with the usual tech pains and since I have been using kb my pain levels have significantly decreased.
Customer service is next to non it would be hard for another company to match it, I haven’t had many issues but the ones I have it’s been resolved instantly, the staff are friendly and understanding, Katie and her team strive for perfection… ( the products show this ) I highly recommend kb tool range, the products speak for themselves.
I use kb tools throughout my whole set, products need replacing ie drill bits after a good few months but that’s like anything,
There price is fair I think as a lot goes into the equipment and what’s best you receive credited corses or master classes on how to properly use your tools! I’m very proud to be a customer and will continue to be, it’s sad to see negative reviews and hard to believe that’s the correct service they received, I have seen so many good reviews on there customer service and how they have handled broken files on TikTok lives and other platforms, can’t please everyone I suppose.. but don’t let that put you off on tool range should have 10’ stars as it’s a fantastic family run company ❤️

I am in shock at some of these reviews! I don't have a bad word to say about katiebarnestoolrange from the service, the staff, the teaching and the products are all brilliant.
Never had a problem with my purchases and if I have ever wanted advice or help using a product they have always be fast with reply and accommodating that.
I think the brand as a whole are amazing and I would definitely recommend to any nail tech.

Avoid This Company at All Costs!

I purchased a bundle of drill bits and an e-file totaling £300. Within six months, the drill broke down during a service. The company blamed me, accusing me of dropping or mishandling the drill. I handle my equipment with the utmost care as it is my livelihood. After some back and forth, I paid £29.99 for a repair and £8.99 for shipping, only for the drill to break down again less than a month later.

The customer service I received was appalling. They repeatedly tried to blame me for their faulty products and offered no resolution whatsoever. It's clear that the company is unwilling to admit fault and is only interested in keeping your money.

I requested a refund as I no longer want to be associated with this brand and need to buy another e-file. This request was denied. It became apparent through conversation that their warranty is non-existent.

Additionally, the drill bits are of extremely poor quality. It's clear they are cheaply manufactured, branded with the company's logo, and sold at a high price for what is essentially rubbish.

Having been in the industry for over five years, I have never encountered such an incompetent, unsupportive, and obnoxious company.

Save your time and money—avoid this company!

My parcel was lost in very strange circumstances by the parcel shop which I had selected for the efile and attachments to be delivered too. Customer service were superb at getting back to me promptly and got me all of the tracking information I need to prove that the parcel had been received by the parcel shop. After I was then reimbursed the customer service agent raised a sale so that I could purchase at a discounted price as I had purchased during a sale and a further £20 off and also some extra new attachments! Couldn't be happier with how well they communicated with me and that they gave me an even bigger discount than I originally had even though it was not there fault the parcel disappeared. Can't wait to receive my efile 😊. Thanks so much again to customer service!

Absolutely amazing company! ALL of my nail tools are from them. If I have ever had any issue they have always been so helpful!

I'll give some examples.

I dropped my scissors and broke them. It was my fault. I didn't expect a replacement for my error. I explained this to them and said I needed a pair asap for me to use the next day... they were so helpful, In this nail tech emergency (which is not really the end of the world is it) I paid for next day and had them there in the morning. Literally the quickest delivery they could do and they did!

Next thing I dropped (yes I'm that clumsy) was my efile and wow the customer service and turn around to fix this was so good! I sent my hand peice back. They fixed it and returned it. It was at my expense because I broke it. But that's expected! It was MY fault that it broke because I'm THAT clumsy!

Katie, Andy & the whole KB team are the best and I'll scream it from the rooftops!

Accidents happen with tools, they aren't built to withstand EVERYTHING!!

It's like dropping a glass on the floor and expecting it not to smash lol. Would you take it back to the shop and say sorry that's too delicate for me I want a refund, it broke too easily. Even though YOU broke it.

Make that make sense.

Anyway... I would give this company 100 stars if I could. NEVER had ANY issues (only my own clumsiness and im working on that) and they are always there at the end of an email to help where ever they can.

Oh and since I had my efile repaired and I replaced my scissors, both well over a year ago... I have had NO problems what so ever! Brilliant company, exceptional customer service and just lovely people!
