Unscrupulous operator using ambiguous law jargons to rip people off,
1 - Parked less than 10 minutes, which is legally permitted by Section 13 of the IPC Code of Practice. However, I still got a 60 pound initial penalty.
2 - Upon receiving the appeal rejection letter (with no clearly explained rationale, even if I explicitly mention section 13 of IPC code of practice), the penalty went up to 100 pound. However, the contract displayed did not mention anything about the failure to appeal would result in penalty increment. This is a blunt breach of contract law.
For those who faced similar situation, please dont be hesitate and appeal to IAS.
Unscrupulous operator using ambiguous law jargons to rip people off, shame on the operator, shame on you Mr Martin.
Appalling experience
Appalling experience. Parked in a parkonomy car park and got a parking ticket from link parking. I arrived at the car park with my new born and 2 year old, it was a boiling hot day and I was having trouble connecting to the app to pay. There was a number to ring to pay but having done this in the past it's not straight forward and it's time consuming. I thought best to get kids out of the car and go to a near by cafe and connect to their Internet to pay for the parking which I did within 20 minutes of parking - even paid longer than was needed. Came back to see a ticket on my car. I appealed this and explained the situation, I received a rather blunt rude letter to say my appeal was refused. I paid nearly £10 for parking now have to pay £60 fine while im on maternity wage which I cannot afford. No point in appealing again as they will just refuse and then I'd have to pay the full £100. If i hadnt paid for parking at all i would understand but i did. I will never be using parkonomy for parking ever again.
Rude and condescending
I emailed to ask for assistance regarding a residential parking permit for a property I had just moved to.
The reply didn't answer my query at all, merely stated how to apply for a new permit which I had already figured out.
When I asked for clarification on my original question, the reply was condescending and patronising.
I've since found that I don't currently need them so have ceased all correspondence and won't be restarting it unless I absolutely have to.
The customer service here is disgusting and I will only be using their services for as long as I have to. When I move next, I will make sure that Link are nowhere near.
Liars
If I could put less than 1 star I would. This company are robbing ********. Went to office as I was working at a flat told it would be ok to park in a spot for the week. Had a parking ticket on the last day which I appealed and lost even when a member of their staff said it would be OK and showed me where to park. Then received a further two letters for the previous two days WHICH I DID NOT HAVE A TICKET ON MY CAR. Dont trust them if they say its OK to park get the name of the person and in it in writing. Robbing honest working people should be ashamed of themselves
.

I’m very disappointed with the way my recent parking issue was handled.
I was issued a £60 PCN with no consideration given to a reasonable grace period, which I believe is unfair and not in line with basic consumer rights. Despite explaining the situation, I felt pressured into making the payment.
To make matters worse, I was also asked to pay an additional £10 for a visitor permit, even though I had already obtained one previously. I was told the original permit would be cancelled and reissued, but this process seemed unclear and unjustified.
Overall, the experience felt inconsistent and lacking in transparency. I hope the company reviews its policies around grace periods and permit handling to ensure fairer treatment of customers in the future.
Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend their service.
Serious Concerns Regarding Customer Service Standards
I moved into a property covered by this company and registered my vehicle October/November. In January I received a PCN notification and appealed, which was overturned. I then received another letter dated 13th Jan with a further fine. I and my partner have tried to speak to their ‘Customer Service’ team to be told we have a further two charges of which we were unaware. The gentleman we spoke to was obnoxious from the start, will not answer any questions, wouldn’t give us his name, and kept saying that if we wanted to appeal it would need to be via email. I do not have any information to appeal the other cases with, due to the lack of customer service. I am shocked and appalled at the level of disrespect shown by the telephone agent. I’ve tried to call to speak to another operator, but at this point I feel its run and serviced by one individual, who has told me if I continue to call my number would be blocked. This company need looking into via Trading Standards, an absolute disgrace!
Predatory and scummy
Predatory, scummy business practice that tries to scam money out of legitimate residents. Unpleasant to deal with and can't really be reasoned with, they will just threaten you with an increased charge when you try to appeal, even though you are just trying to park at your own home.
Disgusting not properly signposted that…
Disgusting not properly signposted that the area I parked was private property. Explain I’m a serviceman seeing his partner after months away. Get fined. They don’t care or even have a heart. Good to know horrible companies are still out there who don’t care about people.

I hope one day these guys get the wrong person, who issues 3 penalty charges at 1am 3 days in a row at your own home???
They must have serious mental illnesses,
I’m more than happy to contribute for a therapist for everyone that works here.
Bunch of coyboys
Bunch of coyboys, ONe of their attendants accosted my wife after issuing a ticket to verbaly harrass her for parking outside our own home because the pass had fallen off. Police involved and they have many similar compalignts with them
Awful experience with Parkonomy and Link Parking
Awful experience with Parkonomy and Link Parking.
Parked with my two young children, tried to use the app several times and an error kept coming up. Decided to get the children out as we were meant to be going for a Mother’s Day meal, and as soon as we sat down (within 15 metres of the car) I tried again. Tried different cards. Tried calling the helpline, which was cutting me off.
When I went back to the car to move it, I had been fined. I tried to appeal. I attached screenshots of the errors, explained what was happening with the calls, told them I had two young children, showed them an email from Parkonomy stating there was something wrong with my account, but they denied the appeal.
If the system doesn’t work, for what looks like many people, bring back coins and contactless payments. I for one will not be using any of these car parks again.
Pure theft
Pure theft. This company is stealing poor hard working peoples' money and leaving children without food. I parked my van in font of the property where I was unloading heavy material and told the traffic warden what I was doing but he still fined me. These are thieves and won't even consider your plea in an appeal. The appeal is just an excuse so they can give you penalty charge notice and tell you that you can appeal it later which is wasting even more of your time and they don't give a f*** about your appeal anyway. They are here to take money from you (which result in my children have less food on the table). What a great country to be working hard in and trying to provide for your children.

I received an overdue pcn for a parking charge on a date I was out of the country, my vehicle was outside my house.
When looked into the pcn the vehicle images and registration are not mine , so whoever did the ticket can’t read.
Obviously sent email showing this evidence waiting for them to get back to me . What a sham the authorities should investigate this company as it seem corrupt , should check all images of vehicles and VRN before sending out fines to innocent people , scandalous,
Link Parking Liars
They are a bunch of liars, I was fined on the 30th of May while moving my son into his new flat even though he had contacted Link Parking to register the van. I received the fine today 21.7.25 (£100) and was told that if I had paid the charge within 14 days it would have cost £60 and that they had left a parking ticket on the van, there was no parking ticket on the van, so they are a bunch of thieving liars.
Scum bag company gave me a ticket in my…
Scum bag company gave me a ticket in my own spot after I had multiple letter in the window screen, with email proof saying how I am in the process of getting a new permit. Absolute fascists.
Parked in my own parking spot
Parked in my own parking spot and this scumbag company ticketed my hire car. I thought it could be because I’ve recently had a courtesy car due to my car being written off, but it looks like these scam artists just fine any car they see.
They have illegally ticketed the car and now they caused an issue with any potential visitors using the visitors spots in the car park. Waiting to hear back from the appeal I’ve put in however, if the rest of the reviews are anything to go by, I’ll be taking this to court
Inhumane approach from linkparking
Genuine mistake - forgot to pay immediately, came back in 15 minutes and paid for 2 hours, and was fined. Tried to appeal explaining that this was a mistake and reasons behind - no apology was accepted. No humanity/sympathy at all, and no respect that parking was paid
fined me for parking outside my own home
fined me for parking outside my own flat and there's no signs to dictate private parking. happy to go to court for this.
ticket ref 89225
edit: They refused my appeal and want payment in full which is against not only their own terms but as by law i should be offered discounted price as stated in their own terms.
this company have no integrity and fined me for parking on residential parking bays when i am a resident. the signs located on sight have a number that's no longer in service. disgusting cowboys and my housing association is getting involved. if that does not work ill see them in court happliy.
These people are thieves
These people are thieves, plain and simple.
I went to view an apartment to buy and within 5 minutes of the viewing they charged me a parking fine on that property. Explained I was doing a viewing and they never considered cancelling. The real estate agent got on as well.
Needless to say I want to have nothing to do with a property that uses them. Imagine a friend stops by your house for a while and you need to be paying everyone's ticket.
They ruin relations and property values. Do not use.
Ticket ref: 89129
They issued me a ticket when the sign is illegible.
They issued me a ticket when the sign was unreadable and faded away. I appealed, but they rejected it. I have a photo proof of the sign, which is completely illegible. British Parking Association and who ever approves of these parking companies and sites should investigate matters like this especially when the signs just white and not readable. This is daylight robbery.
