Has anyone been taken to court for not paying the fine?I refuse to pay it as I’m not from the area I parked in did not know it was private parking and did not see any signs stating this as there was loads of cars in the car park and I was in a rush as I was late for an appointment tried explain this to them but would not have any of it and now they are threatening me that it will go up to £160 and that if I don’t pay it will go to debt management

If I could give this company minus 5 stars I would. I am a pensioner on a fixed income, with health issues. I forgot to put the visitors permit on my car, a family member was in my bay for a few days visiting. By the time I went to my car next, 2 tickets on it, obvious to see after 1 the owner hadn't returned to the car. They are nothing but a load of bandits, and that is being polite. Anyway told them I couldn't afford it after the appeal failed of course. I am now at the stage where the so called debt has been sent to BW Legal, another charming company. They are aware I cannot pay, I've supplied an I and E form. They have now frozen it for 30 days for me to get advice. I've already told them I'm prepared to go to court and to jail if necessary, but they are not getting a penny from me.

If I could leave zero stars I would MARTIN is an absolute pig of a man, rude and completely shauvanistic

Stay clear of this company, our property management company use this firm and we had nothing but trouble. Constantly ticketing residents that have valid permits and rejecting appeals instantly. STAY CLEAR

Claimed I didn't pay when I did. I no longer had ticket. Appealed and felt the letter was generically generated. There was no evidence that they looked into details of what I had appealed on. This is the second time I've dealt with this company and I am going to put my foot down on this matter. They are CROOKS and they should not be allowed to operate.

I don’t even want to rate them a 1 they deserve nothing. The worst company I’ve ever had to deal with all they want to do is take your money. The man I spoke to on the phone was very rude as well, Martin was his name (the director apparently) He didn’t like it when I told him I’ve seen all the reviews about him. This company needs to be shut down.

I was moving out of my flat and loading up a rented van with Link gave me a ticket.

The Immoral parking attendant even took a picture of the van, from all angles, except one. WHERE THE VAN DOOR WAS OPEN AND HAD HOUSEHOLD ITEMS IN IT.

One week before Christmas, I get given a £100 fine when I should be allowed reasonable access to access my flat to move out.

I have contacted the Management company who pay these absolute clowns.

These people need shutting down.
They are BULLIES they also like to harass you
making vulnerable people worried and it’s just a parking issue and they go out of there way to try and catch you out What’s wrong with them,
The permit was in the car they could see it they know the car.

I can't stress more, got two ticket in 3 days with valid permit in dashboard even in their evidence had it my permit shown that too for my place I own. They argued it not fully visible in their evidence I can see link parking logo. Guess what given another ticket for same reason in 3 days totalling 200£. I am owner for the land so technically I got ticket for parking in my place, they are as very cunning people no one will pick up the phone in their contact no I wasted a whole day and one day they accused me, I am going going to obtain their phone records soon. Their appeal system is fake you will get automated message in 2 days time as Rejected so don't waste any time there. They are not considerate at all. Trust me I very polite person but boy they don't deserve not even 1% respect. I will reporting against this company very soon to local MP and local media and all social media and management company who hired them using our service fees. Their email/letter after their Appeal will sugarcoat saying to pay the fine is better if you use other independent body appeal you have to pay full if you loose indirectly making a point to pay is better that going after them.

Absolute scum of a company. Ok it was my mistake, I paid for parking on the app, but I was in such a rush and very stressed, I forgot to change the reg number on the app. I was starting a new job after being out of work for 18 months and I had to be in London so parked at the closest car park to the train station. It wasn't until I returned to the car later that evening that I realised my mistake. I appealed the ticket but it was quickly rejected. So not only have they had the fine but also the parking fee which was paid for but for the wrong car. Gutless scummy tossers.

What an utterly despicable excuse for a company!
I parked in a private car park and paid the fee via the parkonomy.com website. I recieved my confirmation via text and email and so carried on with the rest of my day. Anyway, about a month later I had a PCN in the post stating I had parked unauthorised. I re-read the PCN and realised they quoted me as parking in a completely different car park. I appealed the PCN via email explaining how I hadn't parked in the car park stated. Within hours my appeal was rejected stating my evidence didn't display a time. WT Flip?

Anyway, the long and short of it. I'm now ignoring the threatening letters and waiting to see if they'll take it to Court.

After these parasites sold on this alleged debt to a debt collection agency, BwLegal. I started getting letters demanding payment of £160. HOLD YOUR NERVE. DO NOT PAY!! After making an Official complaint to BwLegal, they dropped the case, as their client - Link parking - had no evidence whatsoever!!!

Sorry about the monologue, but the morale of all this is - DO NOT GIVE IN TO THIS SCAM. FIGHT IT!

Today I visited my property which I purchased just recently and now own within the last week or so I have a permit for this property which I put on my dashboard unfortunately I left both my side windows open a little bit on the car and the permit blew onto the floor. When I got to my car I found I had a parking charge of £100. £60 to be paid within 14 days diabolical. This is not fare if he had seen the window opened he may have seen the parking ticket on the floor. I had got done for not displaying it. They take photographic evidence but I bet they never took any evidence with it being on the floor.

They are just out to get what they can easy picking.
