Next-Gen-Power 

I recently had the pleasure of working with Next-Gen Power for my solar PV and battery installation, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional.

Next-Gen were very flexibile in payment terms, following my previous bad experience with the SolarShare liquidation. They delivered equpment before asking for a downpayment to ease my concerns.

Communication throughout the project was fantastic. The team kept me well-informed at every stage, addressing questions and concerns quickly.

Their lead times were the best around, the system was ordered on the 12th of January, the battery and inverter arrived the same day! The installation was completed on the 5th of February.

The on-site team was large, skilled, and organized, making the installation seamless and stress-free, they left the place looking better than they found it.

Now, with the solar PV and battery system in operation, I am thrilled with its performance. Next-Gen Power delivered a very professional and satisfying experience.

I would highly recommend Next-Gen Power for anyone considering a solar installation.

I shopped around a number of providers and next gen came in with the best solution at a really good price. Patricia in the office went above and beyond to get me my preferred date for installation. The lads doing the installation and electrics were fantastic. A really sound bunch who knew exactwhat they had to do and just got on with it. Lovely tidy job and left zero waste or mess. Would highly recommend.

Would recommend Next Gen to anyone. They made the whole process very simple for us and dealt with every aspect of our system from installation to paperwork very professionally...... really good price too! Now, If only the sun would do it's bit!!

I had my solar panels installed 7 years ago by Next-Gen-Power.
They are working perfectly and Mark Bailie I was dealing with is the most friendly and helpful man.
I recently thought my panels stopped working, so I have contacted Mark to arrange a visit. He was very easy to deal with and called after couple of day to check if everything was ok.
After all, my solars were working fine, and he has explained to me how the system works.
Very friendly, professional, and skilled man.
I must say this company provides a very high standard of service.

Had Solar Panels installed by Next-Gen-Power. I couldn't recommend this company more. They were so efficient and the lads were extremely helpful in showing me how to work everything. I am delighted with the service.

Dealt with NextGen for a large commercial install as well as my own house. Excellent service from start to finish. Everything explained well and everything delivered as promised on time with no fuss.
Graham took the time to go through everything in detail to make sure we got the best systems to suit or needs.
Patricia in the office handled all the paperwork with a minimum of fuss.
Installers were excellent as well.
They dealt seamlessly with all the paperwork both commercial and house for SEAI and microgeneration.
Follow up calls and questions have been answered promptly and efficiently.
Both systems are generating significant savings. For the house the battery solution is a must, great flexibility to store excess solar production in summer and can charge the battery at night on cheap rates for use during the following day.
Excellent service all round, would highly recommend.

I was doing a lot of research and got quite a few different quotes. Lee was really patient with me and didn’t do a hard sell (unlike a few other companies). I eventually opted for east west 5.6kwh system with battery and eddi water diverter. There was a delay between install of panels and hooking up the inverter and battery but they did let me know before they started the install. There was also a bit of back and forth with Niall the electrician in getting it fully up and running but I feel they a great job and I never felt I had to harass them or shout to get them back if something wasn’t quite right. Patricia in the office is great. Clear communication and responsive to any emails I sent and all the paper work was lodged in a timely fashion for the grant application. I would be happy to recommend them as I felt they handled any issues that came up in a timely and efficient manner. Issues come up and it’s how they are fixed really speaks volumes about a company.

A totally brilliant experience from start to finish. Couldn't expect a higher level of customer service. Its a 5* from me, from what is a very crowded market. Trust the professionals.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Next-Gen Power if you are considering a solar EV for your home. We had a 8 panel solar EV system installed on the roof, a battery and an Eddi (energy redirect to the hot tank). The installation took a day and the crew were very friendly and helpful. The system is working really well. Great job.

Fast efficient installation, both office staff and fitters were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. System has not missed a beat since installation and is flying. Would highly recommend.

From first day 3 years ago I noticed something wrong with system . I spent three months emailing and calling with screenshots showing them, they kept telling me I was wrong , eventually admitted I was right and batteries had to be changed, so stressful . As compensation I was told (have proof) I was get a free battery and inverter. It’s been three years of calling texting emailing and all I have learnt is that this company is a master of excuses . Had to wait two years for my eddi to be connected (again dozens of calls and WhatsApp’s) have evidence . Stories and excuses change every day . They are unbelievable . Reported a switch constant tripping 6 months ago — not even a call back

Solar & battery system installed on November 2022. Install was exceptionally fast and professional.everything is performing beyond expectations so I am very pleased. Hopefully I won't have to call on them to test after sales service but would recommend them highly so far.

in my original ttust pilot review I gave Next Gen Power five stars and saying that 'I was happy with a quality product and the knowing that we are doing our part in supporting the energy grid and that it had been great to work with a team who we felt had our best interests at heart."

Unfortunately I got it totally wrong and am now in process of initiating legal action against this company. Our solar system has been down for 14 months, after a litany of phone calls, broken process and a few months wait their engineers came out, and told us that issue was with Giv Energy.

When their engineer came out he said that the issue was with Next Gen Power.

We have had no response from either company since.

There has been no reply since our solicitor sent a letter saying that we are going to take legal action.

I actually don't have words to describe how let down I feel, nor how shocked I am at how little this company care about their customers.

I wrote a 5-star review 2 years ago.
Our system has been down for almost 12 months. Sub-par installation leading to water damage in what we were told was a water-proof system.
Brutal after-sales service, completely unprofessional.
We've had to take legal action. Can't tell if it's gross incompetence or if they just stopped caring once they got our money. Maybe both.

I am really pleased with Next-Gen-Power and would recommend them highly based on my experience. They installed a great system and it works really well. There were some challenges as there are with every project and I'm delighted to say that the Next-Gen team dealth with them even though they are inundated with new customers for their offering.
