The activity itself was great

The activity itself was great. But the booking experience was absolutely awful. First told I could only see availability if I used the correct website (2 for lee valley white water)
Back and forth with a week of emails and no offer of call backs.

Left a sour taste, very disappointing experience

I was gifted a two day hotel stay for two but when it came time to book, availability at the price of the voucher was extremely limited and univiting. Mostly B n B or budget hotels. Not the way the purchase was described to my friends. I would suggest mis sold to those who bought the gift. Shameful con.

As a result I chose to swap to a spa day that sounded lovely. The treatments and service in the spa were very good. The leisure centre arrival was disappointing. Everyone we met was polite but having issued health forms, we were left waiting for some time. It wasn't until we asked about a drink that we were offered a welcome drink.

The introduction to the facilities and explanation of the agenda was very limited and vague. This meant that with the rabbit warren layout of the leisure centre we were wandering around trying to find our way. The changing facilities looked tired and worn. The jacuzzi compared to other venues felt cold as it was part of the pool with set timings for it being on.

The afternoon tea looked lovely but sadly the scones were rock hard while mouse like dessert slid off its base when you tried to lift it on to your plate.

Communication prior to the day was impersonal and sparse. Although we had replied to all the emails, only one treatment was recorded and for the wrong person. There was no instruction about the parking situation which would have been helpful. I wouldnt pay for a spa day or the afternoon tea again.

A very disappointing experience especially as it was a gift from friends and I will be uncomfortable answering when they ask how it was.

I wont ever buy another voucher with red letter days especially not as a gift.

Wide range of experiences, had a little trouble with redeeming a voucher for one but received a prompt response from customer service and the problem was resolved quickly. Would recommend.

Kew Gardens was a wonderful day out

Kew Gardens was a wonderful day out! I didn't have to book the date, just turned up with our vouchers. All the staff are friendly and helpful. We did and saw most of the things on our list including the pagoda, palace, tree top walk, Princess Diana house, tropical house, temperate house, and an added bonus were the Henry Moore sculptures, which had been installed in the grounds the day before our visit.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.!

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.!! Had a gift for my birthday valued at £128. Original experience couldn’t be taken in London so swapped for a Midlands helicopter ride. Tried on numerous occasions to book the minutes experience with tea without any luck.( no times unless you upgraded with £100’s more !. Dates and options ( usually Monday- Friday with limited availability). In panic as the voucher was running out I’ve booked a Birmingham restaurant with champagne ( again only available Mon- Fri before 5pm !! ) and now been told the menu choice is off its £20 menu! Awful choice and totally waste of time and money. Tried to upgrade or change but not available and the restaurant says it’s due to card company costs… ! Don’t waste your money. Buy direct from the experience you want.

Rip off

My parents bought me a Red letter days “ two night magical break” voucher last Christmas thinking a couple of nights away would be a great present. Upon recently trying to book our little getaway we suddenly realise that it’s virtually impossible to get two nights anywhere without having to significantly add another £100-200 on top of the original amount paid by my parents. Absolutely terrible, don’t waste your money.
