Philips Hue System Has Blocked all of our lights

I tried to access & switch on lights in our Philips Hue (Signify) lighting system last monday, but their App stated that there was an issue with my account & that I would ahve to log in to resolve it.

I attempted to log in but my saved password was not accepted on my phone or PC.

I then requested a link to change my password, but it was not sent. I requested again 3 times with no linnk sent.

I attempted to log in again & my account was bloacked, leaving no access to our lights!!
I contacted Philips Hue (only available on social media!) & was told that the block would lift after 24 hour - it was not lifted.

I contacted PH again on social media & was told that they would send me a link, to follow the instructions on the link & the Block wouuld be lifted 24 hours after I had done.

I have requested the link on a number of occasions & have not recieved it.

After 8 days trying I was finally given a phone number for PH today: After 1 1/2 hours on the phone I am no further forward & still have no light!!

It is now 8 days withoiut access to our lights!!!!

Avoid Philips Hue like the plague: When it goes wrong they simply ignore you.

myGarden Outdoor Parterre tuinlampen

We hebben 7 tuinlampen van Signify. (myGarden Outdoor Parterre). Wat een TROEP. Na ±2 jaar gaan de lampen 1 voor 1 kapot, alle LEDs branden door. En dan is natuurlijk de garantie er af. We hebben er 7, maar ze kunnen allemaal de afvalbak in.
Als je nog binnen de garantietermijn bent krijg je wel nieuwe, maar dan wil men foto's van het stickertje met de productiedatum. Die staat op het voetje dat je vastschroeft op de grond.
Het is gewoon een baggerontwerp. Als je ze openmaakt zie je dat ook direct. Er zit voor EUR 0,85 aan electronica op de print, maar de lampen worden voor 60-90 euro per stuk verkocht.

Returned unopened box cannot get refund

Returned unopened product after many phone calls and e-mails over 30 days they still have not refunded my money. I have thousands invested in hue. I regret it now as customer service went from great to sucks. I will not buy anything direct ever again. Next time I will use Amazon.

retur processen er helt væk hos signify, hold jer væk. det er kompliceret og tager fem brede og fjorten lange. køb hue lokalt og ikke direkte hos signify.

hue/signify lover at jeg vil have mine pærer og bridge efter 3 dage, fint da jeg er i sommerhuset og skal bruge dem der , jeg bestiller og betaler, bum nu bliver det sendt så det er ved sommerhuset d 6-1-26, hvilket er 10 dage senere end bestilling, og der er jeg ikke ved sommerhuset, jeg prøver at skrive til dem, men ak, det kan jeg gøre over facebook/instagram. tja hvad skal jeg sige, jeg bestiller bare ikke hos dem igen, skodfirma

Appalling, Scam-style Experience

UPDATE: Philips Hue have just texted with a further 2 week lead time from today!

I am absolutely appalled by my experience with this company. Based on what I’ve been through, I personally believe they are operating in a way that ignores UK Distance Selling Regulations, and the whole situation has felt extremely scam-like from the start.

I placed an order on 15 November with a clear delivery estimate of 3–5 days. The moment they had my money, everything changed — I was immediately told there would be a delay. Four days later, I received another message announcing yet another delay, along with a pointless discount code that felt more like an insult than a solution.

Their WhatsApp “support” is practically nonexistent. Messages go unanswered for ages, and when they finally got back to me, they casually informed me of a further two-week lead time. By then, the product will be completely useless to me, as I need it before visiting my son on 12 December.

What makes this even worse is that they refused to let me cancel, despite openly admitting the order hasn’t even shipped. In my opinion, this behaviour is unacceptable, unethical, and potentially illegal. As a pensioner who used my winter fuel allowance to pay for this gift, I feel utterly taken advantage of.

I genuinely believed I was buying directly from Philips, only to later realise that this company is not Philips at all. Because of this experience, I will never buy another Philips-branded product. Their name being connected to this situation is enough to put me off permanently.

If anyone else is dealing with similar issues, contact your bank immediately. Based on my experience, the way this company operates feels deeply suspicious and, in my personal opinion, potentially a scam.

Incompetent, arrogant and frankly, insulting

Ordered a replacement for a flashing hue bulb from their website as they were the only p,said they had the bulb in stock, they were also the most expensive after including delivery.
Two days later received an emil saying the bulbs weren't in stock and they would let me know when they were available again.Called to cancel as I had manged to get an E27 version of the bulb plus an adapter, rather than the B22. when I caled I was told the bulb would be despatched the next day, 4 days later and nothing, rang up to cancel and was told I couldn't cancel as their system can't do cancellations, I must wait and refuse the parcel from the courier, expected delivery is for a weeks time on my son's birthday when no one will be home.
Online selling competition is fierce. I can buy equivalents from Osram or Ikea that work with Hue. They don't treat their customers with this much disdain and are also cheaper, why wouod I buy Hue from Signify?

Slechtste klantenservice wat ik ooit heb meegemaakt , dit bedrijf is eigenlijk niet eens in staat om een factuur te maken en er een btw-nummer op te vermelden. Na 1,5 maand en 4 mails heb ik het opgegeven.
Koop hier aub niets.☹️

Hue Bridhe pro slecht

Hue Bridhe pro gekocht. Hiervoor werkte alles netjes met de oude bridge. Maar liep tehen de max aan van de lampen. dus op naar de Pro. Installeren ging redelijk. In het begin ging het connecten met mijn Wifi niet goed maar naar 6 keer proberen. Gelukt. Migreren ging ook redelijk. Aantal Ikea lampen opnieuw geconnect en toen begon de ellende. En nee niet met de Ikea lampen maar met de Hue lampen. BTW allemaal waren ze geupdate. Niet bereikbaar, niet te connecten, Opnieuw zoeken met Qr code of zelfs met de code ging slecht. Uiteindelijk na een uur of twee had ik ze weer geconnect. Na een dag begon het riedeltje weer. Niet bereikbaar. De lampen opnieuw 1 voor 1 voor de Hue bridge (30 cm afstand gehouden) en ja hoor ze doen het weer. De volgende dag hetzelfde. Niet bereikbaar. Statussen in de app blijven op aan staan terwijl ze uit zijn etc. Ik was tevreden en dat mag ook wel want je betaald drie/vier keer zoveel als voor een Tuya of Ikea lamp. Nu niet meer. Tip als alles goed werkt koop de nieuwe Bridge niet. O ja na een week nog niets van support gehoord.

Webshop wirbt mit 25% Rabatt für Neukunden bei Bestellung von 2 Artikeln auf alle Waren des Webshops. Dass die neue Hue Bridge davon ausgenommen ist, steht nirgends. Es erfolgt für dieses Produkt einfach keine Rabattierung. Serviceline braucht eine Woche für eine sachlich falsche und nichtssagende E-Mail. Dass nebenbei durch die Inbetriebnahme der neuen Bridge alle Hue Elemente neu installiert werden müssen, steht auch nirgends.

Absolutely abysmal customer service

Absolutely abysmal customer service. Placed a £500 order 3 weeks ago and haven’t even had an email confirmation. They have my money but seem completely incapable of resolving. Despite many phone calls, messages and emails, I have nothing but uninformed ‘nicey’ responses. Clearly the customer service team (wherever/ whoever they are) have no access to customer information which is ridiculous.
Buy from Amazon - it’s safer!!

Signify.com = dårlig service

Signify.com har på deres hjemmeside en mulighed, hvor man som privat kan henvende sig for, at få hjælp. Men det gør man bare ikke - altså får hjælp - jeg bad Signifi.com om, at få oversat nogle EAN koder som Louis Poulsen havde oplyst passede til deres armaturer. Men de numre jeg fik var direkte misvisende så derfor spurgte jeg igen og blev lovet af Peter som heller ikke kunne få de oplyste numre til at passe, at jeg vil få et bedre svar. Og dette sket også de næste 10 gange hvor problemet var det samme. Til sidst efter 2 måneder fik jeg langt om længe et brugbart svar. Jeg fik også tilbud om 20% rabat pga. af oplevelsen hvilket var 10% under den spam kampagen Signify.com havde kørt samtidig med denne oplevelse. Hvorfor underbyde sin egen spam?
Så derfor forvent absolut ingen service fra Signify.com!!!!

Falta de garantia e desinformação.

Venho por este meio expressar a minha profunda insatisfação e apresentar uma reclamação formal relativamente à vossa posição sobre a garantia da lâmpada MASTER TL5 HE 35W/827 PHILIPS 64324755, que adquiri numa loja em Lisboa.

Após a avaria da referida lâmpada, dentro do período de garantia, a loja recusou-se a efectuar a troca, alegando que "tudo o que são lâmpadas fluorescentes, incandescentes e halogéneo não estão abrangidas pela garantia normal de 3 anos, uma vez que são artigos de desgaste rápido". Esta afirmação é duplamente falsa, uma vez que, de acordo com a legislação em vigor, as lâmpadas estão, sim, abrangidas pela garantia de 3 anos e não são consideradas um artigo de desgaste rápido, especialmente considerando que a lâmpada em questão tem um tempo de vida estimado em 24.000 horas, conforme as vossas próprias especificações.

A loja justificou ainda a recusa afirmando que "as lâmpadas são consideradas produto de desgaste devido às condições a que estão expostas, nomeadamente, picos de tensão, descargas atmosféricas, ruídos e «lixos» harmónicos, diferenças de temperaturas". É de salientar que todos os aparelhos eléctricos, sem excepção, estão sujeitos às mesmas condições, e tal não isenta o fabricante ou o vendedor de cumprir com a garantia legal.

O mais preocupante é que, ao contactar a Signify sobre este assunto, a vossa resposta foi: "Assim, a garantia informada pela (loja) deverá ser a que efectivamente se aplica." Esta posição é inaceitável e, a meu ver, vai directamente contra a lei. Como fabricante do produto, a Signify é responsável pela garantia dos seus artigos, e não pode eximir-se dessa responsabilidade, remetendo-a integralmente para o retalhista, especialmente quando as informações fornecidas por este último são manifestamente incorrectas e ilegais.

A vossa recusa em assumir a responsabilidade pela garantia do vosso próprio produto, em conjunto com a desinformação veiculada pelo serviço de apoio ao cliente, configura não só uma actuação ilegal, mas também uma flagrante falta de profissionalismo.

Aguardo uma pronta e satisfatória resolução para esta questão, com a devida substituição da lâmpada, e espero que a Signify reveja a sua postura em relação às garantias dos seus produtos, de forma a cumprir com as suas obrigações legais e a garantir a satisfação dos seus consumidores.

Also if you buy & download the HUE Sync app for $130 USD and your TV breaks - you'll have to pay the $130 again for your new TV. No discount, no nothing. Buy GoVee and save yourself a terrible customer service experience.

Sjældent har jeg oplevet værre support…

UPDATE:
Philips-Hue Produkt manager ringet fra Signify og han forstod godt min anke og sammen fandt vi en god løsning jeg ikke kan klager over. Derfor får de nu flere stjerner :-)

Sjældent har jeg oplevet værre support end fra dette her firma.

Havde købt Philips Hue produkter for 8200,- og 5 min efter min bestilling sende de en rabatkode på 15%.
Jeg modtager mine varer et par dage efter og her mangler en spot.

Tænker jeg blot kunne kontakte supporten og de kan eftersende min spot og give mig mine 15% rabat, men her tog jeg meget fejl.

Den eneste måde at kan få min rabat er at sende det hele tilbage og bestille igen, men de siger det kan jeg ikke for der mangler jo en spot som i deres system står som afsendt.
Jeg er tålmodig og efter 16 dage får jeg min spot tilsendt. Efter meget chat frem og tilbage skriver “Peter” at jeg ikke behøver at sende det tilbage for at få mine 15% rabat.
Her troet jeg så min sag ville ende godt, men ak nej. De sende nu en rabat kode på 20% jeg kan bruge ved mit næste køb i webshoppen og afviser jeg kan få min oprindelig 15% i rabat.
Nu har jeg jo sat det hele op og kan ikke returnere det igen !!

Har skrevet til landechefen for Signify i DK, men han svarer hellere ikke. Hold jer langt væk fra dette firma som supportere Philips-Hue produkter.

How many Customer Support Employees does it take to change a light bulb?

In mid December a Phillips lightbulb, guaranteed for 2 years (2000 hours) blew after 2 weeks. Finding Customer Support was tricky - the lighting arm of Phillips is, apparently, now Signify. The gentleman in dealing with the complaint was in Portugal and seemed to have problems understanding that the light bulb had failed. He asked for photos. I sent photos of bulb and box. I heard nothing back so I eventually chased. Since then I have been passed from one agent to another. The light bulb was replaced with a completely different and inappropriate one. (They had photos, how did they do that? They say the photos never got passed on even though I sent them twice). Phone calls were apparently made to me at a wrong number (How? My phone number was on every email I sent). Emails were sent to me with pictures of different and inappropriate replacements. I sent a link to the appropriate replacement from their website. At last, they sent it, in an ordinary envelope via DHL. The bulb is glass - it arrived broken. Signify phoned me to say another was being sent and would arrive Monday Feb 3rd. I sat in all day waiting for it It never arrived and no word from Signify. I rang them again... and got an updated delivery date of 17th Feb 2025 - so almost exactly 2 months after the first contact with them!
