Useless, I was told I had built up enough awards to entitle me to a free gift of cleaning products of my choice. Not true. No free rewards on my account. Also the £3000 rewards I have are actually worth very little discount, you could get cheaper online. Terrible rewards scheme.

I have 3000k rewards i want to replace my freezer it's cheaper than other suppliers with the discount so will purchase but will not be getting DnG cover for it. I believe there should be some sort of trade for vouchers to be used elsewhere
Even it's a percentage of your reward amount or allow the rewards to fully pay for the purchase.

Not much use as cannot spend them. I have over £1000 rewards but can only spend small amount in rewards and put a large amount of cash. Not worth spending RUBBISH

I had over £3,000 in rewards and was only offered £200 off a £2200 appliance which id never buy. Getting to the answer, how do these benefit me? Why can't I buy one appliance from my rewards only? And is it worth keeping my appliances insured when domestic and general only give you a purchase from ARGOS????? Then I cant spend any rewards which I haven't in over 9yrs so why give them to customers? Im disabled and have only had 2 minor repairs on all my appliances and dont think its worth spending the price thats doubled in the monthly payment plan I took out on every appliance and then I wouldn't be earning rewards i can't spend as domestic and general told me not to extend my warranty? Why i was told this i dont know but then they put the payment up from what I was paying through hotpoint rewards? I hope someone could explain why I have these rewards and can't use them?

Rewards are useless, everything is cheaper online, even by the manufacturer. After rewards, charging me £319 for Hotpoint tumble dryer, which is £299.00 from Hotpoint and £269 from another online seller. Its a scam.

My appliance couldn’t be fixed so they cancelled my policy, sent me so called ‘rewards’ which was a discount on a replacement that I had to spend £250 to access the points and the item was £200 more on their site than AO. To top it off the so called ‘claim for food loss’ was also paid in reward points so again I HAD TO order an overpriced replacement to get that!!!!! So cross!!! 😡🤬

I joined Smartcare when my cooker was repaired, very efficiently. No complaints at all. Since then I have been trying to claim the free Appliance Care Pack I was promised. Total failure, website useless, chat did not work. I am going to cancel.

Just ordered a new integrated microwave using my smart rewards.Easy to order and free delivery and got it £117 cheaper than all the on-line sites ,so in my opinion where is the scam??

Over the years of having certain white goods insurance I'd built up a tidy balance to use with Smartcare Rewards (SR). So, when it come to buying some white goods I didnt have insured, mostly down to them being too old to insure, I used portions of my SR balance to obtain them. So far, I've bought new matching washing machine and tumble dryer and saved just shy of £400 (compared to Currys prices) about 3 years ago. Today, I used some more of my balance to pick a new dishwasher and saved £180 based on the AO.com price. I've also used some of my SR balance in the past to get my Mum new appliances and letting her benefit from saving a few quid too (around £250). It's no scam. I think people expect to be able to use the balance to pay for goods in full, but it doesn't work like that. You use the balance to get a healthy discount on a range of electrical kitchen goods. Even if you stop insuring your goods for any reason you can still use your accumulated balance to get a discount.

This was totally mis- sold to me! Nothing but a scam. I was told I could use the money towards any Electrical appliance- this is absolutely not the case. I have just cancelled the plan- although I was offered the same plan for less money when I mentioned cancellation! Needless to say I declined.

Answers are needed and where the hell if I’ve registered where is my details?

I took out insurance due to a broken cooker heater part, guy came out next day and sorted. I got access to smart care rewards for the free cooker fridge cleaning kit they both came within a week. Very pleased with my freebies.

It's a scam products dearer than the shops even when rewards are added

Absolutely crap ,waste of time unless your loaded ,this company will always win .

Naughty naughty and completely a useless idea unless you're rich in the first place, but then again if you were then you wouldn't use these lot. What do I mean firstly the amount in the savings pot they somehow work out how much they will let you use of your savings pot, your then expected to then use your own hard earned money to then top up whatever the purchase price of the new appliance is. Which is bad enough but now we also have the if you're rich part, as the amount they are selling these appliances for you could buy any new appliance hundreds of pounds cheaper in a Currys or an Argos. The only time you might be saving any money is if you're rich in the first place, and for some reason wanted to actually purchase one of the extract makes and models that they have on their website which I warn you isn't a lot to choose from.

I have recently taken repair cover out for my washing machine. Got a text to with the website to claim my rewards, but the website doesn’t work.
