Booked 2 tyres to be fitted by their mobile fitter on the the Tyreshopper website only to be emailed the following day confirming a different fitting date 2 days later. Then the filter didn’t turn up on that day either. Still waiting for the rescheduled appointment! Never been let down in the manner before and I’ve used lots of different website and mobile fitting companies. Terrible service!

I ordered a pair of Goodyear All Season tyres. Everything seemed fine until I did a quick check of the tyres after fitting - and they were not the tyres I had ordered (and not All Season)! No-one told me, even the local Halfords who fitted the tyres were not aware a switch had been made. They agreed to take the tyres back, put my old tyres back on and promised a full refund. A waste of a couple of hours? No, I have still not had the refund two weeks later despite chasing them up daily - and now they say it may take another two weeks before they even make a decision to refund. The guys in the local Halfords who fitted the tyres have been helpful, but seemingly dependent on decisions by "regional management". Quite appalling service, and probably illegal.

Placed an order with Tyre Shopper for 2 tyres to be fitted at home, selected an evening appointment but was contacted a few days prior to fitting to rearrange to an afternoon appointment, fair enough. Fitter called before to let me know he was near, friendly and made a good first impression. Unfortunately it was down hill from here.
When purchasing tyres and fitting, tyre shopper state that the cost includes balancing, replacement valves and disposal of old tyres, the fitter failed to replace the valves, then when the issue was raised told me they just don't look new from fitting...... not sure how that explains the break dust and general mud / dirt from driving. I was hoping these would be replaced, as I suspect one of the valves to be leaking. I have no problem with something being missed, it happens, own it and put it right! Or be like National Tyres and Tyre Shopper, making out the customer cant tell the difference. This wheel is still losing pressure, so will have to take to another garage to be rectified.
The fitter also left with my locking wheel nut key, a bit inconvenient as I was left having to chase them up to recover it.
I was really hoping that by selecting mobile fitting and with the fitter coming from a different branch of National Tyres than my local centre who I haven't had a great experience with previously the outcome would be more satisfying, but honestly I think I will just avoid Tyre Shopper, National Tyres or any company that is part of the Halford group in the future. While the prices are good, the service and hassle of using them leaves me thinking I should have gone elsewhere.

Absolutely shocking service. Purchased 4 tyres from the Tyre-shopper.co.uk website and had them fitted at Halfords. Halfords damaged the wheel pressure sensor (TPMS) and had fitted the tyre and simply told me this when i arrived to pickup. They said it dropped off and then said they couldn't log the problem as their systems were down.

Now i need to go to a local family run tyre fitting garage to get this fixed as Halfords cannot fix the sensor that they have broken.

I called Tyre-shopper and they told me they cannot help as they only deal with mobile fitment. So they route the call to Halfords where i get cut off.

Absolutely shambolic service and someone needs to either shut the tyre-shopper.co.uk site down or ensure it has a higher level of customer service.

The only thing left for me to do is a chargeback on my Amex card as they are not able to support.

Appalling.

Can’t even get hold of anyone to complain/report the issue.

Instead I get an automated email; saying this is no longer the right email. I used the email on the main website, under “how to contact us!”

Arrived at one of the centres they use to have a tyre fitted. I was booked on for 08.30 Saturday morning.

No one books that time slot who is time rich. They said arrive 10 minutes early. I did.

No one arrived. 40 minutes later, still not open. Phoned the main line for the centre they use, no apology, no refund, no alternative solution.

Just,”I’ll pass it my manager” who wasn’t there. The company is national with multiple branches and there wasn’t a single manager they could get hold of.

Still haven’t had a call back. Still have a barely legal tyre that needs changing.

Awful, from start to finish. First placed my order of some eagle f1s for my bmw, all was fine until 2 days after rider being placed and due to being fitted I get a email stating they do not have those tyres and they offered me some tyres which I didn’t really want but I had to take as it was to late to place another order for when I needed them. Fast forward to delivery and fitting day and the technician arrives and within 5 mins in knocking on my door saying the wheels are stuck on and he cannot remove them, I then take a look and ask him what equipment he has and he reveals that all he has is a small METAL hammer and no rubber mallets or anything such as even a block of wood to absorb the impact, so they advertise fully fitted and equipped vans and they do not even have rubber mallets or blocks of wood to not harm your rims, these cowboys are seriously cutting corners and when confronted they try to call you a liar and that they have done nothing wrong, they offered me a measly 5% discount. The management also did not make any real effort to rectify the issue and clearly do not have much knowledge about tyres despite working for a company that sells and fits them. Not to mention the countless hours I’ve spent waiting on the phone and explaining myself multiple times over and over to staff taking away from my working time and just being a very inconvenient experience. Clearly very incompetent staff and nobody seems to know what’s going on, will not waste my time next time and I will also be telling everyone every time the subject comes up not to buy from these cowboys and to stay far away. Also just to add, I am currently getting the tyres fitted by a garage that actually knows what they are doing and has the correct equipment for the job as I write this, 20 mins after a supposed technician came and said they were ‘stuck’. Embarrassing company🤡

Absolutely shocking mobile tyre service - avoid at all cost.
My partner had four tyres fitted on her car outside our house – the tyre fitter managed to damage all four wheels in the process – one of which is just chewed to bits.
To top it all off I’ve just been and checked and one of the tyres has been put on the wrong way round.

16/09/2025 I purchased 4 new tyres from TyreShopper.Co.uk I couldn’t arrange for them to be fitted online at my local Halfords garage as the website was not working correctly. So phoned Customer Services to purchase them over the phone and arrange fitting at the Halfords garage. Told by Customer Service that they knew about this online ordering issue but could not take my order as I would have to pay the garage. Made no sense at all. So I decided to use the mobile fitting service which did work. Fitter arrived as booked and fitted the 4 new tyres. Unfortunately, whilst fitting the new tyres he managed to damage all four of the alloy wheels to varying degrees. The offside rear alloy sustaining the most damage. It was as if the fitter had never fitted tyres before. It looked like they had been chewed by Jaws! Fitter must of known he had damaged the alloys but failed to tell me. Rang Tyre Shopper Customer Service immediately to complain and was passed around in circles for at least an hour to eventually get an email address to whom I could send my complaint. Complaint sent including photos no response or acknowledgment received to date.

Purchased 4 new tyres. Prior to fitting I emailed the customer service as I had found them at a cheaper price. The T&C’s on the website allow for 48hours to claim as part of their price guarantee. I have been ignored and after numerous emails I have continued to be ignored. Poor customer service all round. I wouldn’t recommend tyre-shopper.

I booked Tyre Shopper to change two front tyres and they subsequently booked my order and took my money to do the work two days later.
However the next day I got a text telling me that they no longer provided a service in my area and to phone customer service to take it to a garage or get a refund.
When I did I was told that the problem was that the vehicle coming to do my tyre change had problem with its compressor. When I explained that I could no take it to a garage because it needed new tyres. Finally they said it would take five working days to process my refund.
Safe to say I will never use them again

Bought 4 x avon tyres at a cost of £415.96 in June 2024 just had car mot'd advisory all four tyres cracking in tread contacted tyres shopper' we don't give a guarantee on tyres so less than 15 months on the car 9100 miles travelled and tyre date stamp tyres were a year old when fitted so be warned unless you are prepared to pay over 400 pounds a year for tyres don't deal with these people

Bought my new tyres in October 2024.
Halfords mobile fitting service came to fit my tyres. The tyre fitter chipped and scratches my alloy rims. I complained to Halfords about the damage and i sent photos as well. 10 months later still nothing from Halfords. I won't be using tyre shopper again. I'll be using Black circle for my tyre needs. Absolutely terrible service from tyre shopper and HALFRAUDS

Four tyres ordered for fitting in two days time. Confirmation email & text reminding me to be on time etc. On fitting day wait around for an hour then told tyres haven't been delivered. The Halfords customer service chap was helpful & arranged a refund.

Order 4 x Dunlop tyres to be fitted. On the day of fitting received a call saying the tyres hadn't arrived in time and therefore I had to rebook for a week later (decided to give them the benefit of the doubt in this instance). A week later I go to get the tyres fitted at a Halfords autocare centre. After getting home I realise that I have been provided with 4 x RXMotion tyres, something I have never heard of. I immediately call the halfords centre who tell me that when the original appointment was cancelled, it was due to tyreshopper not having the tyres I ordered in stock. Furthermore, without consulting me, they had decided to send these replacements instead and refund me the difference - something I was never consulted on nor would I have agreed to if i had. After attempting to call tyreshopper I was stuck ona long call with customer support who, by the end told me that since i had driven away I had used the tyres and that the refund of the difference was already in place. I have since been sent in circles between tyreshopper's customer support email (which is no longer in use as an automated halfords response email told me), and halfords online support who say that tyreshopper is a separate entity (even though I received an automated response from halfords for an email sent to a tyreshopper address!). I will be raising my complaint with trading standards and disputing the payment through my bank. Avoid these scam artists at all costs

Had 4 new tires fitted today while I was at work on further inspection noticed they are already over a year old ( also they fitted different tires to what was ordered ) as they say they have got any stock even though there website said available for next day fitting

Have used tyre shopper multiple times over a good few years for tyres for mine,my wife's and sons cars and have previously received excellent prices and customer service up until last appointment today.
Was booked in for 12 to have 2 new tyres fitted at national tyres in Washington. Arrived 15 mins early as requested to find garage boarded up and not trading. After asking around tuns out they have joined forces with halfords which were luckily close by.
Arrived at reception to get tyres done to be told it wasn't a booking time but drop off time and 3 cars were infront of mine. Asked how long it would be to be told again 3 cars in front of me after asking again was told could be 2 or 3 hours. Man serving me was very unhelpful and had an attitude as if he was doing me a favour.Said I could cancel and be refunded straight away which i agreed to.
Came home checked bank no refund I then spent next hour and a half trying to get through to customer service number and emailing to be kept getting bounced back to a halfords site eventually got through to a very noisy call centre after being on hold for ages eventually got a refund processed which will take approx 7 working days to be returned. Absolutely appalling customer services from start to finish and won't ever use again.
On the plus side I have found same 2 tyres 30 quid cheaper at costco.

The price offered by tyre shopper is good. But the service from the fitters, National Tyres (now Halfords group) changed since I last went . I wanted them to fit the 2 new tyres to 2 spare wheels and then fit those to the front. Then put those 2 old tyre/wheels in the boot. “No sorry sir. We can’t do that. We have to charge extra for anything different to your order”. It turns out that the “bosses” had visited earlier and clamped down on any little favours or change from the norm. Even tips or gifts had to be reported. The manager quietly told me that the staff were very unsettled and 2 were looking for new jobs. He apologised. So. Sorry Tyre Shopper. I will be going to my local independent fitter from now. Sounds like the old “jobs worth” situation all over. Shame.

TyreShopper emailed an offer of 10% discount on my next order. When I tried to place an order online and use the discount the code was not recognised. When I phoned their customer services I got nowhere, the people I spoke to hadn’t got a clue and the background noise was over powering. I was then transferred to Halfords mobile fitting service who said it was up to TyreShopper to sort out. A total of 35 minutes on the phone without success.
Needless to say I won’t use this company again!

With reference to Order 8684063. No complaints about the fitting of the tyres. However the mobile fitter from the National Luton branch drove his van off the edge of our drive and into next doors garden damaging a newly replaced retaining wall. To be fair to the fitter he called his boss immediately and his boss was very apologetic and offered to refund in full the price of my tyres which I accepted expecting this to go through in a day or two. However over a week and no refund, if you use any of the customer contact email addresses on the booking confirmation or website you get a reply from Halfords saying they are no longer in use. This is shocking customer Service to advertise contact details that you know won't go anywhere, I'm surprised at Halfords for this. Anyway I'm still awaiting my refund and the whole episode is on CCTV so I will find a way to contact you.

Turned up to my house to fit 2 tyres while I was at work. When I got home I checked and they had fitted 2 tyres which were well over 2 years old. Tried to complain via their email address on their website and email bounced back telling me to contact Halfords. Called them and they say to speak to National Tyre, both of whom blame the other company and keep sending me from one to the other. Absolutely disgraceful service. I'm within my rights to demand a refund but it's impossible to speak to anyone to get it sorted.
