I had an email come through from this company related to a outstanding account I have with SSE I've spoken with SEE I don't owe them anything at all I tried phoning captal resolve and no reply on hold permanently
If Capitol Resolve ever read there review, I was the only one to give positive, now I have tried for 2 weeks and many hours to contact them, what a Joke
Just spoke to Kate from Capital Reserve who was more than helpful and pleasant and hopefully will resolve a problem or an outstanding bill that has come out of nowhere.
SCAM
They contacted me about debt I apparently owe. I called that energy company direct and confirmed no debt is owed. So that fully confirms it is a scam.
Keep trying to get me for a debt for an energy company I've never used? Reported it to FCA who said they are inindated with complains about this company regarding fraud. Anyway stuck them on a email blocker, so last I'll hear of them.
Keep phoning me and texting me about a Vodafone debt. I have confirmed with Vodafone that I have no debt and never have. Blocked their number and they call off of different numbers. They're a scam trying to get money out of people.
Continuous answerphone messages saying payment is required from Spark Energy. I do not owe money to Spark Energy or have an account with them.
Blocked their number, they are scammers.
These people are scammers and fraudsters trying to get your bank / credit card details. They pretend to be different people working for multiple companies all from the same phone line.
The fact is that these people most probably work in the industry, and so obtinaing your details from the company they work for would be extremely easy, its called data theft. Some of these people are good at covering their online footprints to avoid being caught. Your details may also been sold by companies such as facebook / twitter if you use them. Despite their claims to the contrary they do sell your user data and if your mobile / home number is attached then whoever buys this information will use it against you. These parasites will attempt to call you early in the morning, well before 9.00am and they may send you endless dangerous texts demanding you to pay your debt on your account. They are doing this to force you into giving your account details. never ever give them anything, don't even answer the phone, simply block the number and report it here or other phone lookup companies to ensure others dont fall victim to this scam.
As mentioned before they pretend to be different companies, for example they pretend to be a ppi specialist, and they want your bank / card details so they can pay you your non existent ppi claim. Or they pretend to be from BT or Virgin Media, they are not from any of these companies. Simply block their sms number / phone number. very dangerous number, never answer! i you dont know the number look it up first, always.
Receiving text which include a name unknown to me and ref number 718119 asking to urgently phone Capital Resolve. After checking it was not a scam Phoned got recorded message Option 5 to advise wrong recipient. Select option 5 message Thanks and terminates. Have blocked future text or calls
What a bush of dummy’s don’t worry karma will get them all of them, may take a bit of time but it will get them
Very keen on not letting you put abusive words on here.
Strange . All they are fit for is abuse
Same with British Gas that they scam for.
Shame on you employees . Get in to the market place and get a job that gives you some pride instead of representing these low life scammers
Sending random letters out with little to no information other than the need to contact them. Multiple checks with bank and Experian etc have confirmed they haven't checked my credit and I dont have any outstanding debts. Further research into this company implies they are a scam outfit.
Just started recieving texts from these people about a debt for someone other than I. Slightly bizzarre but there we go just have to keep texting them back telling them to stop harrasing me. Doesn't look a proper company with ethics if you google them. Cheers
Dodgy scam artists who try to get money out of whoever they can.
Here's my situation: I am in a fair bit of debt and due to a bout of ill health in early 2015 I am now on welfare desperately trying to find employment. I contacted StepChange Debt Charity regarding my circumstances and they were happy to help, very caring and understanding.
In December 2015 I was made homeless, through no fault of my own - it was over a health and safety issue. This voided my current Payment Plan with the debt charity and a new Temporary Payment Plan had to be arranged.
In the meantime I received a very threatening text message from Capital Resolve, who at the time I had never heard of and had no idea what it was regarding. So in a panic I called the number: the man explained he was from Capital Resolve it was about a debt I have. I explained my situation - jobless, homeless, down & out and dealing with a debt charity so didn't need the services of Capital Resolve. End of that...or so I thought...
All this happened around a couple of weeks before Christmas. TODAY the 19/01/2016 I have received 2 x text messages & 1 x email from Capital Resolve, all were of a threatening nature. So I called them and asked what was occuring. The man on the phone explained I'd had 30 days to resolve the payments to my creditor which I hadn't done. I replied with: I am still with the debt charity which I am happy with and that I had not long received my new payment plan after the Christmas break when most places shut down - also that I'd sent the cover letters, re. the payment & debt charity details, offering a minimum payment just a few days prior to this phone call. Apparently Capital Resolve INCLUDE PUBLIC HOLIDAYS (Christmas) IN THEIR 30 DAYS despite most of the UK grinding to a halt!
The rude man then explained that Capital Resolve could do what StepChange are doing, again I explained that I am happily dealing with the debt charity. He then threatened me with 'debt recovery' if I didn't offer a payment and my card details to them as soon as possible!! I hung up and will never be answering any texts/emails/calls from them or calling them again.
They are nothing but bullies! I am not even dealing with Capital Resolve yet they still harass me? This is just wrong.
