The repair appointment was cancelled by the repairer on the day of the appointment. Hence cannot rate service received.
Issue Not Resolved
Car was in limp mode and needed to be recovered to the dealer who sold me the car.
Diagnostic check showed 3 issues had been recorded. Car Care plan only approved the resolution of 1 of the errors. The next day, the EML reappeared.
Further 100 mile round trips needed to the repairer. Local garages dont want to deal with Car Care Plan due to them trying to negotiate lower repair costs.
This warranty is not the all singing, all dncing warranty which the dealer sold to me

Not the best, found every excuse to get out of completing work I had paid for in a polocy, won't be a car cover I will take out again, will take my chances with any damage.

I was pleased that a small claim for a bonnet micro switch was agreed. However, I was refused a claim for a new exhaust system (cost quoted at £1,600) on the grounds of it being ‘wear and tear’ . The car is just under 4 years old and has only done 25,000 miles. If such an expensive part wears out after this amount of time then that would suggest a manufacturing fault. I have had many cars for many years and have never had this wear out before. Very disappointing having spent £17,000 on the car and £500 on extending the warantee.
