I was pleased with the wood
I was pleased with the wood, it burned hot with very little ash. The wood was delivered on a pallet which made it easy to put away.

All good apart from late delivery
On-line ordering was easy.
Product is excellent.
Condition of product on delivery was excellent.
I received a message from the delivery company giving a 3 hour time slot. As my previous delivery had arrived slightly early, which was no problem, I made sure that I was at home prior to this indicated delivery. The actual delivery this time was 3 hours later than the messaged time slot with no further messages warning me of a late delivery.
Although late, the driver was efficient with the job.

Ordering was very easy and efficient. Although the date of delivery was set, I received minimal notice of the delivery time window (on the day) and it clashed with another priority. Fortunately, I was able to ask a neighbour to supervise the delivery.

When the pallet of bagged wood was…
When the pallet of bagged wood was delivered, 2 of the bags were ripped open. I didn’t notice until the following day but the delivery driver must’ve bashed it and placed a few logs on top. It rained constantly that night and as they were unprotected it ruined the wood. I didn’t want to leave a negative review publicly however i emailed and never got a response. Very poor especially as I’ve used a few times and never had any issues

Logs or Kindling?
This is my second delivery, the first was fine. On this occasion the percentage of small logs is far too high. I appreciate that there will be various different sizes, and some small logs are desirable when first lighting a fire. However this time the load has so many small pieces that burn for a maximum of 10-15 minutes meaning it is unlikely to sustain through one season. I raised this with Firewood.co, but they failed even to acknowledge my comments.
There are alternative suppliers out there!
Since writing this review I have seen many similar complaints. Clearly my dissatisfaction is not unique!

The more we use and reorder Firewood's…
The more we use and reorder Firewood's 20 litre bags of kiln dried wood the happier we become. I'd love to know how the bags are packed - always tightly packed and full to the brim.
We've run two wood burners this season at an average cost of £4.50/night. For us - that's a bargain.

I believe they sent the wrong crate of…
I believe they sent the wrong crate of wood as it all is the size of kindling or pizza wood. I have emailed twice to complain with no response.
The courier they used hit my wall and crushed my neighbours wheelie bin with no offer to rectify anything and just left.
