The process of ordering, arranging and receiving delivery were extremely simple and straightforward. The delivery was made by a smashing person who was very helpful. All the components were securely packaged. We have yet to erect the greenhouse and are looking forward to using it.

Ordering, delivery and quality are all 5 Star. However, as novices to greenhouses, the construction instructions were so poor they were disabling rather than enabling. Clearly written by and for people who are familiar with greenhouses and not people like us. Hence the reduced rating. We love a puzzle, we’re bright people but we were defeated by the poor quality and absence of clarity in the instructions.

The instructions are pictorial, not written. The pictures are poor quality and it’s impossible to differentiate between the pieces. We looked them up on line where the pictures were clearer but not sufficient enough to enable us to distinguish the right/wrong sides and the connection of differing profiles. There are different types and lengths of nuts but no explanation of where to use them. There are holes for some nuts but for others there are channels to slide them into, however there are no instructions that show this.

We contacted the Julianna Group directly after we had struggled for a couple of days and being unable to proceed beyond the first section. The Technical Manager made himself available to us and via a video call was able to explain the instructions with clarity that enabled us to proceed to successfully construct and put the lean to into use and it’s perfect. We couldn’t have done it without him and although that shouldn’t have been necessary we are extremely grateful for his guidance and support. He’s a star. 🌟

Customer service 5* but installation instructions 2*.

Installation instructions need much improvement, including clearer & better defined diagrams & photos. On-line PDF file instructions has low resolution imagery making it difficult to identify parts being connected to each other. Included paper instructions hopeless, either very poor photo copies or a low quality print output. Some of the images showing connecting parts were all a dark shade of grey making it impossible to define the individual parts.

For some strange reason there is another Halls Greenhouse Trustpilot review site that gives Halls an overall low star rating mainly due to similar comments re installation instructions. The same thing with Google reviews for Halls Greenhouses.

Rachel Marsh who is the main contact within customer service delivered excellent customer service to me throughout the purchasing & challenging installation processes, thank you Rachel.

One last thing, please note that the Halls Popular greenhouse range, unlike many of their competitors, do not come with included gutter ends or gutter drops, you have to buy these separately!

As you get older normally companies just do the bare necessities to sell you products . This company especially Racheal who dealt with me went above and beyond to help through out the whole buying and putting up . I could not of asked for more . Brilliant service and a great product that went together perfect . The after service is just as good too . Thank you

I purchased a 10x6 ft greenhouse this summer after researching online - Halls had good reviews at a reasonable price and turned out to be a good choice. The customer service was brilliant. I order a base in addition to the greenhouse but realised I didn’t need it just before delivery. The delivery driver took the base back with him after asking I call Rachel to confirm return. The refund was back in my account within a couple of days.
The greenhouse was a 2 day job for 2 people and agree with other reviews that suggest the paper instructions need improving. The quality of the diagrams is not great or easy to read. I’m really pleased through with the end result!

I bought a Halls 10x 6 greenhouse two years ago and was delighted with it and also the service provided by Woodstoc in Bangor Northern Ireland. Fergal Hinds seems to be the man who does much of their erection work and he did an excellent rapid assembly at a price that was much cheaper than that quoted by others.
Recently I lost the little bracket and screws that is used to connect the auto vent to the greenhouse frame and it was replaced free of charge by Rachel at customer services so top marks!

We ordered the greenhouse mid of July to replace an old aluminium greenhouse with broken glass due to high winds. It arrived within days after mentioning the we have a wedding in our garden in August. Great service.
It arrived safely and complete. The best advice Rachel gave when discussing delivery was to open one packet after another in order to avoid confusion with parts and corresponding items. The instructions are very badly illustrated and without explanations but 3rd party youtubes videos are really helpful. It took us 2 days to build it and we had to phone Rachel only once for the louver shutters as the instructions did not make sense without her explanation. Rachel is great, knowledgeable and really helpful. I however suggest to improve on the included instructions. Also I suggest to add 2 downpipe for waterbutts to your order. They are really useful if you live in a drier area. We completed the greenhouse end of July and now have a very sturdy, well made, great looking greenhouse that has withstood the recent gales due to the toughened glass we ordered after the previous experience with greenhouse glass. I can recommend this greenhouse and looking around beforehand I feel it was good value for money. And a big thank you to Rachel for all the help, please take new pictures to explain the construction better as the shading is not adequate.

Ordered the style and size of greenhouse at very good price. Delivery 4-8 weeks as I'm in Scotland also free delivery. It arrived in 6 weeks. One pain of glass had broken I contacted customer service said they would courier to me it was here in four days. I'm very happy with the product and the service excellent.

I ordered a 10 by 6 foot Halls Popular greenhouse in green paint with toughened glass. It arrived about a month later. In the meantime I poured a concrete footing, built a low perimeter wall on the footing to support the greenhouse, and put a granite path inside and in front. Delivery was excellent, they came on one of my preferred days, and the driver was helpful. Assembly was mostly very straighforward. I used the online assembly guide, as the pictures in the printed version are not as clear. I went to a local display to photograph the vent so I could figure out how to assemble it, the assembly guide was ambiguous. I also struggled with opening the glass crate, as I was terrified of damaging the contents. After a few days I found an online video from Vitavia on YouTube which showed how to open the crate and remove the glass. Basically, remove the three nailed on side boards, then pull out each cardboard package.

When I couldn’t find a couple of screws for a vent opener, I contacted Annie in customer support, and a couple of screws arrived the next day by mail, very impressive.

Overall it took me three days, working a few hours each day, to assemble the frame, and another five hours to insert the glass. I did the work on my own, using a couple of step ladders to support one side and one end when bolting them together. I used a step ladder to hold one end of the apex while bolting the other end in place. Having a second pair of hands would help, but it is not essential. The tedious part is putting on the rubber glazing strip. I sat outside on the lawn on a warm day, and the warm air softened the rubber making the job much easier. Otherwise I suggest glazing each component indoors in a warm room. There are several useful videos on YouTube including one from Vitavia.

I ordered and installed some Orbesen Teknik automatic vent openers, under the Gardening Naturally brand, which are excellent. I planted tomato, chilli and courgette plants along with beetroot, spring onion and pak choi seeds. They are all thriving.

Three of my neighbours have the same model of greenhouse, and they’ve lasted twenty years or more.

Overall, I recommend the Halls Popular greenhouse.

Always found this company delivers excellent customer service. If a problem occurs, as was the case with the glass retaining clips failing on our greenhouse, there was no quibbling - a repair, at no extra cost, was organised immediately, and the job was done professionally and speedily. Would recommend to anyone thinking of purchasing a greenhouse.

The Order and a delivery process was faultless. Unfortunately I made a couple of mistakes when erecting the greenhouse and I needed some additional support to complete the build. As such I contacted the company and spoke to Service Advisor Rachel Marsh who was nothing short of brilliant!! She resolved my issues with enthusiasm and a clear knowledge of what she was talking about. What a breath of fresh air!!! Thank you very much.

Avoid, they take the money and don't care.
I paid for a greenhouse on the 22nd of May and still don't know when it will be installed. The all attitude is simply appalling, I do not know how they stay in business

The operator Rachael Marsh could not be a bettered as a promotion for the company Halls Greenhouses, courteous, very efficient, knowledge at her fingertips and all with a friendly presentation.

We bought the Halls Popular 6x6 greenhouse in green and also bought the base to fit it on. Very pleased with the product and it looks great in our garden, the green colour allowing it to blend into the landscape around it. We were 2 clips short which were posted to us first class by Halls so that was really great service. The only reason for dropping a star was because the instructions could have been clearer. All the parts were clearly labelled both on the actual part and in the instructions, but it was difficult to sometimes figure out from black and white pictures whether a piece went under or over the adjoining piece or which way was in and which way was out. This meant trial and error a few times. The only really annoying point was that after having assembled the whole frame, we discovered that in order to fasten the window frame we should have inserted an extra screw into each of the 2 roof bars either side of the window opening. The diagrams showed inserting a screw but a written note to advise an EXTRA one was needed where the window was going would have saved us dismantling the roof to access the bars after assembly. However it still only took 2 of us a day to assemble the greenhouse, having assembled the base the day before. Feels very sturdy and hoping it lasts a long time.

We ordered the 8x6 popular greenhouse from Halls which was delivered when expected by a super helpful charming chap. Customer Service was first class with Rachel providing prompt answers to our questions and resolving issues with really helpful advice. We would highly recommend Halls for their superior product and excellent quality of service.

Having owned greenhouses from Halls previously we continue to be impressed by their service including any necessary after sales. Assembly does take some serious working out but the end result is as it should, very useable.

ordered 10x6 popular greenhouse in september 23 rd broke my femur on the 24 th two weeks later i had to cancel greenhouse as there was no way i could build it had no problem from halls they canceled order i then reordered in january delivery spot on great lad who delivered it nothing was a problem i now have built the greenhouse by myself in two days with limited mobility very straight forward parts numbered diagram ok
